Ultraviolet humidifier
Everyone has become accustomed to ultraviolet air purifiers, and now it is the turn of humidifiers. The appearance of the device is not much different from the models we are already familiar with - the whole essence of its operation. As you know, humidifiers often provoke the multiplication of bacteria in the water used. UV humidifier uses a unique water purification system - it disinfects it with ultraviolet radiation, which significantly reduces the number of harmful bacteria. According to laboratory tests, after such treatment more than 99% of harmful microorganisms are destroyed.
The device, which is already on the conveyor of the Dyson company, also implemented a wonderful addition to the basic functionality - in the summer the humidifier turns into a fanless fan and, along with the change in humidity of the air masses, ensures their movement. It is also able to maintain a normal level of air humidity depending on temperature for as long as 18 hours. Japan will be the first to see this new product, and it will not be available to residents of other countries until the fall of 2015.

Adiabatic Humidifiers for Home
Until recently, such a humidification system was used only in industrial plants. However, now the opportunity to buy a device with a system that is an order of magnitude more economical than other technologies of spraying moisture, will appear among ordinary consumers.
Principle of air humidification adiabatic models based on spraying water to fine aerosols. Small particles of liquid are mixed with air masses, cleaning and moistening them, but do not create excessive moisture.
So far, adiabatic air humidifiers for home in commercial networks are unavailable (there are only devices for large “domesticated” rooms like greenhouses), but already in 2015, manufacturers are planning a large-scale release of these devices to the market.

Management from the mobile phone
This is the latest development of the Redmond company, which is trying to put all its technology on remote control. After installing a special free application on a smartphone (iOS operating system (7.0 and above) or Android (4.3 Jelly Bean and above) is required), the latter turns into a remote control. It is able to control Sky Home brand humidifiers (the launch of their serial production is scheduled for January 2015 year), as well as all other household appliances in this series. You can set the temperature and time mode of operation and activate any other functions of the humidifier. Very convenient.

Duplex steam
The “warm steam” function is now present in many devices that are responsible for maintaining optimum humidity. Bork took a step forward by ensuring two levels of moisture evaporation. Steam creates a special membrane with a nitride-titanium coating, and the Fine Mist Filter technology evenly distributes it throughout the room. Thanks to a unique filter, evaporating moisture does not leave a characteristic white bloom on furniture. The model with two-level evaporation entered the Russian market in December 2014.

Universal nanotechnology
In 2015, Japanese companies launch several air purifying humidifiers into the European market, which are based on nanotechnology. Nano-ions are negatively charged ions that are formed from the liquid evaporating during the process of moistening. They can block odors and chemical contaminants, viruses and bacteria, allergens and dust mite products. Even the negative impact of household appliances can neutralize.Plus, they have a good effect on human hair and skin and significantly reduce the possibility of transmitting a respiratory infection from one person to another. “Locomotive” of such technologies is Panasonic concern.

Life-prolonging membrane
Special membrane coating (usually these are titanium compounds) is also among the new technologies. For example, the company Plaston (trademark Air-O-Swiss) in the models currently being developed uses titaniumnitrite coating, due to which the membrane surface acquires a “golden” tint and stable protection to physical and chemical damage. This is very important, since it is this part that is subjected to the greatest load in ultrasonic humidifiers. Models using this technology appeared on the Russian market at the end of 2014, and in 2015, it seems to be very popular and will be adopted not only by the Swiss.

Humidity with aroma
In 2015, several models of American and European manufacturers are being prepared for release, which were the result of experiments with aromacapsules. To add an additional function to the humidifiers, borrowed from air fresheners, is now very fashionable. Together with steam, a certain proportion of essential oils that have a pleasant smell are released into the air. A variety of additives to the devices in the form of flavors allow not only to create a comfortable indoor microclimate, but also to refresh it with new fragrant shades. In 2015, lavender, juniper and the most incredible blends will be in vogue.
