Cream soup (and cream soup) is extremely difficult to prepare without a blender. The only full-fledged “substitute” for a blender — a sieve through which products for such a soup were rubbed before — is not often found in modern kitchens. And wiping vegetables through a sieve is much longer and more tedious than to puree with a blender.

What are the characteristics of the cream soup for choosing a blender?

  1. Temperature. Most puree soups - hot dishes (although there are cold - gazpacho, salmorejo and others). Therefore, when choosing a device, preference should be given to devices with metal and glass parts than plastic. The instructions for the blender should be noted that it is suitable for grinding and mixing hot products.
  2. Grinding at the final stage. Blender knives will have to chop both vegetables and meat, but these will be mainly ready-made, soft foods. Therefore, the power in 500-800 watts will be quite enough.
  3. Volume Soup is most often prepared for the whole family, so large capacity is required for grinding and mixing. For soup puree fit both stationary and submersible blender, but the latter is used more often. The stationary blender bowl must be heat resistant (glass), which increases the price of the device. A submersible blender can grind food directly in the pan, in which they are cooked.
