Top 10 pear varieties
Growing pears in central Russia is fraught with certain risks: it does not like nearby groundwater, is poor in winter hardiness, and has suffered greatly from bacterial cancer in the last decade. However, pear is very popular with gardeners. To get tasty fruits of good quality without much effort, you need to purchase seedlings of zoned varieties. We present you a description of the best varieties of pears - according to experienced gardeners.
Most of the seedlings in Russia are grown on a seedling of a forest pear (seed stock). The taste of fruits is determined by soil and climatic conditions, the level of agricultural technology and weather conditions in the year of fruiting. Therefore, feedback from gardeners about different varieties of pears in different regions may vary. In terms of ripening gardeners allocate early and late varieties of pears. The division into summer, autumn and winter is more conditional, since the ripening dates shift in different climatic zones.

The flesh of the fruit is tender, melting, taste at the level of southern pears. When renting on the ground, perfectly stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 months. |
The pear, with the rare exception of varieties, is self-infertile and requires a pollinator. All varieties bloom in one period; therefore, it is not necessary to select basic pollinators - it is enough to plant 2 - 3 saplings of different varieties or plant several other varieties in one crown. Have a good harvest!
