This is my first electric shaver, so I can only compare with the usual. Fusion shaves better, but the tapes to it cost so much that you need to compare it at least with the fifth series brown. If to compare with Mac3, then with my stiff bristles, it is much more convenient, more pleasant and cheaper to shave brown (because now I don’t use foam or aftershave, and I don’t need to change tapes once a month). I use more than a year (14 months like), it seems that it's time to change the cutting unit. Although the manual was written that is enough for 1.5 years (for comparison with ordinary razors, I consistently changed the tape once a month).
The razor is quite large, the rotary filips are smaller. I do not care, but maybe for someone it will be a minus.
If anyone doubts the transition from a conventional razor to an electric one, I recommend starting with this Brown series. Personally, I'm not going to shkryabat myself with machine tools. While I bought myself a new cutting unit, then I can buy a rotary for comparison.
I read other people's reviews and decided to add: the charging indicator is there when it is lit - the razor is charging when it is not lit - charging is finished. It is strange that the respected dk-resume did not understand this. Charges for about an hour, there is a fast charge function. It seems like five minutes recharged and you can shave once. I never used it, it is not at all difficult to put it in the evening for an hour. Even if you have soft bristles and shave once a week, then you simply DO NOT need the electric shaver, shave with the machine and do not worry (checked on a friend with a similar situation - he could not shave with my razor at all).

I have been shaving Browns for a long time, changed three pieces from the 190 series. I had a hard brush, I shaved for 10-15 minutes ideally didn’t even get a new one. I bought 320, I take 4-5 minutes to shave. I would like to say about consumables: the grid and the blades in the price almost fall short of the cost of the razor + the battery will gradually die.
Conclusion: suitable for a comfortable clean shave every other day (hair literally 1-2mm). Not suitable for those who shave when they remember what is needed. Well, do not expect the supernatural, it's just a razor;)

None of the machine that used to this did not give such a result. I was pleasantly surprised. 1.5 months of use, charged only 1 time, I shave with it now every 2 days) got used to clean skin. There are small problems with the neck, like all razors, but everything is solved by increasing the shaving time.
