It is possible to shave both with the help of foam / gel, and without the use of moisturizers - the quality of shaving in both cases will be at its best.
A few points to pay attention to.
First of all, those who have never shaved with electric shavers and used machine tools will need to get used to the device. And it's not just the method of shaving (for example, when shaving with an electric razor, unlike a machine, you cannot push it too hard - the quality of shaving will only worsen), but also in the skin's reaction to external influence (the electric razors first lift the hair above the face and then shave it off, initially causing skin irritation). It took me a month to adapt.
Secondly, the resource of a replaceable cartridge for the automatic cleaning device is 30 cleanings. Then it must be replaced with water from the water container. Buy it at the moment is almost impossible, which is perhaps the only drawback of the device. Partly the situation is saved by the self-cleaning mode of the razor itself (by removing the grid and holding the power button on the handle for more than 2 seconds, we wash the blades with a stream of water). But then regular lubrication of the device will have to be done independently with the machine oil from the delivery kit (in case of using an automatic cleaning device, the lubricant is provided from the cartridge).
