I’ve shaved the Braun 7505 for about 8 years after which I decided to try the rotary from Philips 1260. And there is a lot of advertising for this Philips, and rightly so it is advertised, I suddenly thought about the revolution in shaving, and I’m still worried about the grid.
So impartially I compare the Brown mesh and this rotor from Philips:
1. Irritation of the Philips 1260, how not to twist it anymore, I changed my knives on my Braun, so there are sharp ones there and there. I have been shaving for a month now - from the temples to the bottom of the neck everything is completely red, if you do not burn with a lotion, and it itches about three hours. Although the grid of irritation I have almost never.
2. Conducted the test (several times): one side of the face was shaved with a brown, the other with a rotor. I wrote about irritation in paragraph 1, the grid - where I pressed a pair of red spots with force, the rotor for some reason, excuse me, the mug swelled up (why I can't understand it, while I shave it - it doesn’t cut it, it just doesn’t cut it). In terms of quality, the result is ambiguous - I basically always shaved with a brown brow, I thought Philips would be much better - but as the test showed, the result is almost the same, but the neck and chin edge of the mesh is much cleaner.
3. At the expense of all these 3D technologies (flexibility of the head) - this is where I feel. The grid is always clear where it will shave stronger - in the center, and the rotor with 3D always walks and where the maximum leaning against the skin is unknown at what time. As a result, everything suffers and shaves in different places in different ways.
Total: like a razor, beautiful, comfortable, and shaving well, you can learn and even cope with annoyance with grief in half (burn it with lotion). But to declare that 10 years old Brown shaves worse - it is impossible. He shaves with new knives in the same way, and his neck is generally much better.
