And now about the interesting. Everyone denounced this column that the imported ones are better and all that. I hasten to disagree, the main part prone to failure is a heat exchanger, and on a foreign car it will last a year or two more, but on the same foreign car the replacement of the heat exchanger is comparable to the price of the column and the delivery time starts from 2 weeks.
As for the problems arising during operation - the trouble is that no one reads the instructions and does not listen to the advice of a gasman who puts it all.
Basic principles:
- The chimney must be cleaned and there must be good traction. Let me explain: my column is in the bath, everyone naturally closes the door to the bath when washing, so that there is a draft in the door there should be a gap below, or there should be another ventilation well in the room that is not connected to the main chimney. This is not the case - accordingly, this leads to a poor load, or the column goes dead periodically or simply overheats, which leads to a rapid deterioration of the heat exchanger;
- water inlet pressure and the absence of overpressure at the outlet. Let me explain: when the old column was dismantled to me, I noticed that the pipes at the outlet (hot water) have a diameter of half an inch and inside on the floor of the pipe there is a deposit of scale, we get the pipes at the exit at 1/4 inch (the pipes were changed 11 years ago). total excess pressure at the outlet, poor transmittance, overheating of the heat exchanger;
- the gasman said it is better not to include cold water or limit its use, but to regulate it only with a hot water faucet, and moreover, that everything should serve for a long time, the pressure should be about 3/4 of the full opening of the faucet;
- one more nuance, everyone thinks that the more the hot water tap is opened, the hotter the water becomes. Wrong. Here, the opposite is true: the more you open the tap, the pressure becomes stronger, the water warms less, and vice versa - it decreases, the pressure drops, the water warms more strongly.

1. Column turns off gas itself after 1-3 minutes.
2. The water has become barely warm - it is impossible to wash, but the water pressure has not decreased.
I changed the battery - it all worked. Ie 1 battery has worked for more than 3 years.
I recommend ANY REPAIR of gas dispensers with battery ignition - start with BATTERY REPLACEMENT !!!

The battery, GP Super alkaline, is changed every two years. The water temperature is regulated only by the adjustment knob on the column, i.e. I do not open the cold water tap.
