To understand the character of Street Storm STR-9530EX, in principle, a couple of trips were enough. On the highway, the M4 showed itself with dignity, the Arrows began to catch for 1200 - 1500 m, when approaching, showed them from the database, everything is clear. A couple of times warned about tripods, but with all this did not miss a single refueling with automatic doors. At the Moscow Ring Road it became worse, constant noise, although I also found all the cameras. I also drove along the Gorky Highway from the Moscow Ring Road to Noginsk, just a nightmare. As he squeaked at the beginning of Balashikha, he practically didn’t fall silent. Even taking into account that there are plenty of cameras here and he has found all of them, but there are also a lot of gas stations and shops in the area and it all came down to non-stop squeaking of a radar detector. Switching the device to the City1 mode does not help, since the definition of automatic doors is not just a single actuation when passing by, they are fixed at a decent distance with a gradual increase in the signal level on the scale of the device, sometimes even to the maximum. Before Street Storm, the STR-9530EX had been used by the Whistler Pro 78 SE for three years. He doesn’t see the arrows, but the immunity in it is an order of magnitude higher, which can of course be due to lower sensitivity. It seems that the noise protection in Street Storm STR-9530EX is absent in principle, I did not notice any intelligent filtering at work, it works for everything. With all this, we must pay tribute to the device - did not miss a single camera, GPS without any complaints, a lot of settings, a further update without visiting service centers. In reviews, it was previously reported that during the operation of the Street Storm STR-9530EX heats up, in principle, yes, but I don’t think that much, no more than a tablet with intensive use. In principle, I do not regret buying, but I expected for this money (8900 rubles) a slightly better device in terms of intelligence.
