The size of the RAM is 3GB (with all installed applications, many of which - like Facebook - hang all the time in memory, 1.2 GB free), for the entire time of use there was not a single closed application due to lack of RAM.
disadvantages
- 1) I didn’t like the TouchWiz samsung shell - I changed it to Nova Launcher.
- 2) The body materials for me are still slippery, just in case I bought a bumper for it, with which it is 2 times thicker and 1.5 times heavier. Despite this, it has become much more convenient to use - incl. and because of the greater weight (there was a feeling that he would not fly out of the hands by accident). The first 2 weeks could not get used to the size. I would already be inconvenient to use devices with a diagonal greater than 5.7.
- 3) From time to time I get a notification from KNOX that it has again closed some kind of (unknown to me) application for access where it does not follow.

I use more than 2 months. The device is always in power saving mode, while the brakes and lags are not noticeable (I do not play games). All unnecessary communications are disabled, the GSM network mode, I change to LTE only for the time of data transmission over the mobile network. With intensive use, it lasts for 2-3 days (HTC Sensation with a new battery - 0.75 days), with small use (a couple of calls per day) - for 6 days (Sensation - 3 days).
Recently I took the device in the winter mountains - I was very pleased with the autonomy! In standalone mode, in the outer pocket of a membrane jacket (-10C / -5C temperature, high humidity due to heavy loads and as steam from the body passes through the membrane) for 4 hours of playing music through headphones, the battery discharge is 3-4% ! He took with him to all the ascents, the temperature overboard was -25C, the apparatus was icing up, but all the time he worked without complaints.For HTC Sensation, for example, the screen starts to fail in conditions of high humidity — random clicks are generated all over the screen. With Note 3, nothing like this has been noticed. For 5 days at the top (mostly offline), several hours of listening to music, 2G Internet hours, several hours of reading — the device was 100% discharged to 30%, and I also had a spare battery with me.

I bought the device on 9/11/13 in one online store, which turned out to be an ordinary store on Gorbushka for 21,000 rubles, the Eurotest phone seems to be for England (judging by the plug on charging). At first its size upset me a little (it seemed more bold), I didn’t immediately lay down in my hand, strived to slip out, my fingers didn’t reach the last button on the screen. But after a few minutes of use, I realized that the size is the opposite of this device.
The screen is just something, superamole, and even in full HD quality!
The case, both at first glance and upon detailed examination, is made on a solid 5! after you get used to the size, you do not want to let the phone out of your hands, the back cover is made under the skin and looks very original. The pocket fits easily and when walking does not cause any discomfort. Entering text on the keyboard with two hands is very convenient (in general, it is designed for two hands, but it is possible to adapt to work with one hand, left or right to your taste). Headphones that come bundled got rid of one drawback, they stopped transmitting sounds from wires dangling when walking. The sound is still not bad, but nevertheless it is inconvenient to use them as a headset due to the fact that they are in-ear and completely block out other sounds. Pen can be very quick and convenient to write notes, draw, type text instead of the keyboard.
Other functions of working with the phone using gestures (scrolling through photos, scrolling text, etc.) and eye movements when working on the Internet are also implemented here (to be honest, the function is controversial because it is easier for me to scroll with a finger).
In conclusion, I can say that the device as a whole and in general I am happy as an elephant, but recently I have long and stubbornly used and idolized the iPhone and denounced the device on the android, but now I understand that it is no better, that it is cheap You will not surprise anyone, and maybe he is even behind Samsung in some way.

Before buying, read about Note 4, and decided that since nothing fundamentally changed there, then pay extra for him another 13 tr. I'm not ready.

There was a period when the batteries were enough for a day or even less - it turned out that some system file was actively powered by the battery (I saw it in the settings).After removing the battery, as well as contacting tech support, the problem was resolved. Once there was an incomprehensible case. Late in the evening I fully charged the battery, and at 6 in the morning it squeaked that it was already discharged! The back cover is slippery, poor grip with the hand. In the cold period, the skin on the hands is rather dry, and the phone often tries to slip out of the hands. I'm afraid that this will ever happen at a decent height.
At first wore in a leather case. But just a few days later I saw that the oleophobic coating had been worn away in the places where the screen was adjacent to the stitching of the inside pockets of the cover - there were 2 parallel strips for the entire width of the screen. When the phone screen is clean this is not visible. Now I wear without a cover, without a film - in my bag pocket.
And by the way, the protruding plastic frame, which contains the camera lens and the flash, was already ruffled.
LTE has not yet been able to use, it turns out Pchelain has not yet implemented it in Novosibirsk, it seems like they promised in October. But 3G + suits for now.

Before this was a proven Galaxy S III, after about a year and a half I wanted to change it, I decided to take Note 3, but I was afraid that the phone would be too big. As it turned out, in vain: in the hand is good, typing SMS is convenient with one hand. In the city where I live, Megaphone spent the other day 4G, so I decided to overpay several thousand for a model with LTE, I don’t regret it: the connection speed is very fast compared to 3G! The screen is bright, juicy, big, watching movies, flipping photos, reading books is a pleasure. The quality of communication is excellent, the interlocutor is well audible, in the third Galaxy was worse. The camera is great, taking pictures in the sun in HDR mode is indistinguishable from a photo from a digital camera or even a DSLR. There are some interesting pieces, such as: sports mode, a shot in the hyphae, still a lot of things, but, of course, not all of this will be used all the time. Air temperature sensors and pressure slightly lie, usually show values higher than they actually are. S Health is a cool thing, but not very useful for me. The pedometer is easy to fool, just standing still and shaking the phone in my hand, even on my old Nokia N82 it was more accurate. But all this stuff. S Pen - cool, the stylus is very accurate, you can make quick notes. Also, the function of a single remote control is fun - controlling home appliances from a phone via infrared. True, this function clearly needs to be improved: it does not always and does not immediately see the technique, often working with bugs. The battery, to be honest, slightly disappointed: they promised up to 2 days, but no matter how I try, it does not keep more than one full day (12-14 hours), with moderate use. Although still better than the third Galaxy, which with a smaller screen barely made it to the evening. Psevdometallicheskaya edging on the side edges of the phone is scratched easily, so be careful. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase. Puppy delight is not, as after the transition from a push-button phone to the S III, but I understand that this device is probably the best that is currently on the market. I advise you to buy it?
