After the acquisition, only positive impressions. I really liked the setting after the first start. Extremely clear, visual, convenient. All digital and analog terrestrial channels found immediately. It feels like a quality tuner. Prior to this terrestrial digital channels received on the console. That signal disappeared, then the squares, the channel switching slows down. There are no such problems in this TV. Like the remote. It is convenient to switch from analogue to digital and between inputs - buttons on the remote, and not through the menu. A large set of sound modes, equalizer. The picture can be customized to your requirements. With the Philips 40PFL8505 it is somehow difficult to dock the phone or tablet (and I don’t track the patterns when there is a connection and when there isn’t. Everything seems to be the same, but it works, it doesn’t work, but this is from another opera) . The wife is also delighted with Sony, and she is usually not friendly with the equipment. In short, an excellent TV for the kitchen. Highly recommend. I add in some months of use. I started to reboot when I tried to watch videos from YouTube and when playing through DLNA. Reception quality is 3 orders of magnitude lower, Samsung has 42 inches analog quality in the hall) a govt signal is also much worse) The figure without any complaints, I used instead of a monitor for a week, of course I would like more resolution for this purpose.
