Bought for work in September 2012. In mid-January, it suddenly flowed. They began to find out the cause, it turned out that a hole of about 3x5mm at the 1L mark was formed in the inner metal flask. Warranty is trying to openly send with the words you left it on without water, and that it burned out. What never happened. In addition, the instructions say that there is a system of protection against overheating when the water level is below the minimum. Warranty year, but all the addresses listed in the warranty card are NOT engaged in Binatone equipment. I had to search through the manufacturer's website. Now we are waiting for at least some exhaust from the warranty workshop, they have been preparing documents for 50 (!!!) days. Then they answer that the thermopot cannot be repaired, then the type is waiting for the flask. The first 4 months were happy with the purchase. Extremely disappointed with the attitude to customers after the purchase.

UPD. 05/27/13 Failed to exchange, repaired thermal guarantee under warranty. Two months already works, while everything suits, if it breaks again, I will write here.

Used more than 2 years. By the end of the second year I began to act up the pump, and then completely died. Regular descaling did not help, our water is very hard. This is most likely the reason. But mechanical and the rest of the electronics continues to work.
In general, the device justified itself and served faithfully for more than 2 years. For such a technique, in my opinion, more than enough. Technique of typical brands is 1.5-2 times more expensive, and it will probably last for as much longer. Conclusion-sense to pay more? It is better to buy new equipment every couple of years (meaning small household appliances).

Do not invent quibbles for such a price. As for the smell of plastic, Binaton never sinned, unlike cheap Chinese basement consumer goods for 300 rubles. Of course, you can run into a fake, but in general, Binatons are good because it is a quality factory china under proper control of primish Englishmen. As for the long heating, all these thermopots sin, it’s smart for its size, and it consumes very little electricity .
