Reviews of the electric water heater Electrolux EWH 100 Royal
Virtues
- Heats up the water quickly, the water temperature is quite even when washed up to half an hour. The differences are less than in the general home network of hot water. Great appearance.
disadvantages
- The attached anchor bolts are very conditionally suitable for fixing on hollow concrete structures, such as the standard Soviet sanitary fixture in an improved planning house.
Comment
Bought in the online store for seasonal off hot water. The experience of using is absolutely positive - hot water is higher in quality than from the local CHP, temperature drops are lower and more predictable, it is enough for four adults and a child to wash in a row. Let's see what happens next year. Thermal insulation of the tank is excellent - heat is felt only when the water is heated to 75 degrees.
The design of the tank is not clear: according to the manufacturer’s statement on the website, this is a stainless tank. At the same time there is enamel coating and a magnesium anode, which needs annual prophylaxis. Perhaps for the reason that even after welding in argon, stainless steel welds rust and thus protect them additionally. I do not know what is written in the instructions and on the website is true, but what is a common marketing lie.
Worn out with the installation: wall plumbing was uneven thickness. The two right-handed bolts stuck well, the two left-handed dangled with a gap of three millimeters. Neither pull out nor turn up to the stop - symbolic spikes-stops in the spacer cylinder and symbolic nests in the washer do not help in any way. I had to buy two new anchors and strengthen the upper anchorage with a cable with them, which was much more reliable, and this goblinism behind the hull is still not visible. If you buy a water heater to a house where such surprises are possible, it is better to buy good anchors for hollow concrete in advance.
Another not very pleasant surprise was from the store - the default warranty was set to just one year by check. Given that in the warranty card it is 24 months for an electrician and 84 months for a tank. But the seals in the warranty card were asked without question, but I had to go extra.
