Comment: Date of manufacture 2004 year. I am engaged in repair of bespeboynik of APS. There was a choice to take home Ippon smart power pro 2000 against APC SUA 1000, chose as you can see from the APC review. Rescued me more than once. My motherboard is 640-7732H Ver 9 (I wrote it in memory). Consumables is Akb 12ach 12v. On smart ups, UPS has to change batteries once every 3-4 years due to the fact that the full charge takes 3 hours (preferably about 10 hours), but you have to sacrifice something. You want to extend the life of the battery, watch the voltage on the stamps, it should be 27.2 V (or 13.6 per each battery) and preferably the temperature in the room should be closer to +20. This smart can be converted into version XL, as I understood it, simply to solder the 24v fan control unit (transistors, keys, diode) and output the terminals to an external battery.

Advantages: One-to-one dignity that this thing fell from the "ceiling" then beige for free, aligns the network, I can not hear how it works, it is made qualitatively (although I have heard a lot about the poor manufacturers of Hindus)

Disadvantages: I didn’t look at the dimensions when I ordered it, they are quite decent in size, but for a thousandth, this is normal.
At the output from the OPS, the voltage is not equal to 220, but varies depending on the voltage in the network that put me into a stupor from the beginning. AVR "automatic voltage regulation" was written on the site later on the APC forum that it was only on On-Line models (they stand like an airplane) that a constant output is provided. So everything is normal!
