iOS, even in the 10th reprint, remained the most totalitarian of all systems. Without breaking the device, do not change the icon or the name. It can not even be separated from the general group and not moved to a separate place on the screen. Change themes? No, not heard. Why do you need a different design, well, change the wallpaper to the maximum - and that's it ... Download music? Film? Only through iTunes! Apple decided everything for you, and arguing is useless.

Headphones - a separate pain. I have long been accustomed to, that the headphones of any iPhone should immediately be replaced with normal ones. For in the box, the default put cheap plastic garbage, with the complete absence of at least some noise reduction. But here they also soldered the "new" connector, which requires an adapter. And, forgive, who puts in a set to the BLACK phone - WHITE headphones ?! What is this anyway?

In general, they promised a revolution, but it turned out as always ... A little thinner, a little more powerful. With all the accumulated flaws. No work on the bugs. Not a single step towards the client. We are Apple - love us and obey.

Then, in fact, WHY? Why bought it, with all that is written above ?? The answer is quality. There are many competitors: someone has a better camera, someone has a thoughtful body. But almost no one has such a cool optimization, like the Iphone.With all his foppish shortcomings, he will work steadily quickly and clearly.

Comment: Moved from 5s which faithfully plowed for 3 years. Of course changing global compared to 5s. The design of jet black is just a delight. The phone looks like a single unit, a black monolith. There is no point in writing about performance and speed. Of course the price in the Russian Federation cost a big minus 74 mp. Silicone bumper or some other cover is sure to be easily scratched, even from the keys. And so the top machine.

Initially I wanted 6S, but when I got out 7 with a double camera and moisture protection, I brushed off any doubts. Touch ID does not work with wet hands, but it's still convenient to use in the bathroom, I often watch videos during water procedures)) now I'm not afraid to spray the device or that a drop will fall under the home button. The sound is louder than my 3 iPad, the camera is better than a friend for 6s. I use it with pleasure, but people look at this device with interest - it's beautiful!)))

In my opinion, the design of the six was a mistake, there are more successful designs, for example, 5S, which is why it was continued to be produced in the form of SE. Having so many billions of dollars in R & D could come up with a new design.
Summary: I took it only because there was not enough RAM, the pages in the browser were periodically reloaded, which terribly enraged (by the way, adding RAM did not solve this problem, apparently it was programmed somewhere to reboot). If you don’t have such a problem, there’s no point in switching to a new phone

Advantages: Decent design, operating system, moisture protection, stereo sound became louder, the screen is brighter in the sun. I switched from 6S, I was satisfied with the large screen size.

Comment: I use several weeks, during this time I managed to take hundreds of photos on vacation. The camera is noticeably better than the 6S Plus, it works in the dark. Happy is also very worthy. I can not assess whether it is better or worse than the Galaxy S7, rather it is a matter of taste.

The camera consumes noticeably less energy (checked for hours of walking and shooting).

Prior to that, I used 6S Plus and Galaxy S7, both very fast, but 7 Plus, even against their background, seemed fast and “responsive”.

Since I have only been using wireless headphones for a year and a half (Sony MDR-1ABT, Beats Studio Wireless), I don’t notice the absence of a 3.5 mm jack. I will never return to the wire again. Digital and / or wireless connection of headphones and other accessories in the long term is simply inevitable.

I did not make any statistically significant measurements, but the work time was slightly better than that of the 6S Plus.
