The black color is really black (there are people who write that there is no difference - put iPhone 8 and iPhone X alongside and compare). 2. Absolutely new design, it is much more convenient to control gestures than a button. Especially like the way to switch between running applications. 3. He is heavy. This is both a plus and a minus. Feels monolithic and strong. 4. I switched from iPhone 6 and since I have not used 3.5 jack for a long time, I am very glad that it is not here. I am waiting now for Apple to get rid of lightning and only a pair of connectors and those for speakers will remain on the case. 5. Chic camera (friends a couple of times even thought that the photo from the mirror)

Disadvantages: Among the shortcomings: 0. FaceID is still not perfect in terms of ease of working with the phone. Comment: I switched to X from the iPhone 6 and do not regret at all that I did not choose 8. Firstly, the screen is larger with the same dimensions.Secondly, the new experience with the smartphone (after managing gestures, using the button is hard - as if it was back in the last century). Thirdly, FaceID - in my opinion it is much more convenient than the TouchID, although not perfect in terms of the reasonableness of the interface associated with it. The most pressing question: a monobrow doesn’t interfere at all - you can make a screen already while watching a video, and I don’t notice it with normal use of a smartphone. Its only drawback is the forced hiding of Bluetooth icons and battery digits. About scratches on the screen / copy I can not say anything, because Immediately put the smartphone in the glass and cover.

Comment: I bought 10 instead of iPhone 8. I used all models of iPhones. There is nothing to compare. So I do not know why everyone likes the OLED matrix? Because of the deep black color? It's all bullshit. And the problems of ice screens are many times greater than those of IPS. Whatever you say, my eyes got more tired after half an hour of working with a smartphone (who do not know OLED displays have what is called PWM, in simple terms they twinkle neatly (you can look at OLED display through the camera and see). Therefore, I always tried to buy smarts from IPS screen. Besides, OLED Dispeys are very whimsical, have a shorter service life, because of all these minuses I never liked Samsung because of their poisonous color.
In general, I decided for myself that if this year the Apple launches a new smart with an IPS display, then I’ll change the iPhone 10 to it, since for me the display has become critically worse!

Regarding Faith IDE, of course, a controversial decision, I personally liked more to unlock the phone with my finger. Fades go go dumber in my opinion.

I liked the gestures, though not familiar, but there are some new sensations.

And so IPHONE as an iPhone. Everything is the same except for display, identification and gestures. Bought just for the sake of "new experience." Which "played enough" for half a day.

The screen has become longer, but the width is almost exactly the same - there is a display size of 5 and 7 inches. This is all marketing stuff, since the information is much more straightforward, in fact, it does not fit! Although it feels like dimensions closer to iPhones 6-7-8, for example, I never liked the plus version, because they are very bulky!
And for the sake of folding applications, the curtain for calling the screen brightness and other icons was not done from below (which is more convenient), but from the top right, which is very uncomfortable.

Conclusion made for myself, if I could for example return the iPhone 7 or 8 now, probably would have done so. Not worth 10k of their money! (although I am a fan of Apple so to speak).

- FaceID: more convenient than TouchID (does not work with dirty or wet hands). Over time, adapts to the user.
- Battery: after the purchase you want to "play too much", test and configure all the new functions. In this case, the battery even with such active use is always enough for a full day from 7:00 to 23:00. With an average battery activity, it lasts until the evening of the next day, 50% per day, about 5% per night.
- Sound. Excellent, loud stereo speakers.
- Interface. Manage gestures. It requires habituation, after which any action is performed quickly and conveniently.

Disadvantages: - Weight. For me, the main drawback. Very heavy for its size. After 6s it seems unreal heavy.
- Price. I bought for 80k at the end of November, the PCT was not cheaper to find.After 3 months, the PCT model is already from 66k to Tmall. Could wait, but wanted to please myself on DR.

After Samsung Galaxy S6Edge +, S7 Edge and S8 + having bought this device, I didn’t feel the “Wow” effect, but I felt that it was just a working comfortable horse, nothing superfluous without unnecessary whistlers. The camera after Samsung didn’t hit either (Samsung doesn’t have enough post-processing after each photo in the machine), there are just honest pictures without embellishment. Well, the seditious thought - Apple technology without a complete infrastructure - is inferior to android. But if you have phones / tablets / poppies, etc. in your family. - competitors are still very far from such convenient integrated use.

Comment: FaceID unlocking is a great solution. I do not know, maybe in the first versions of IOS11, and there were some shoals with owner identification, I can not judge.But it seems to me that most of the complainants have seen the top ten only in stores, and were not real users. FaceID is stable, it does not matter - light or total darkness, the delays are minimal. I put this function definitely in the plus of the device. I am sure - it will be copied by all, as well as touch, in fact.

The only inconvenience is the call to reduce the screen. Just a centimeter from the bottom of the screen swipe, if above - the search bar opens. The viewing of notifications is very well done - just a message comes, no information - just a notification. If the owner looks at the screen - the message will open. Fractions of a second, just do not have time to react))) Honestly, after that, iPhones seem to be uncomfortable with a button - the hand itself tries to snap) For some reason, the seven of my wife has become uncomfortable - I have to make some extra movements, bend my thumb to the button ...

Despite the fact that he is just a little more than 6/7/8, in the hand is much worse. It would have been better if they didn’t do this wireless charging, but they would have left the aluminum backside.
On the "monobrow" stop paying attention almost immediately.
Do not take the black version in any case! He is all in prints right out of the box, plus after a week you can already see the pollution around the camera. About the fact that Silver is badly scratched on the sides is nonsense, I have not had a single scratch in 2 weeks, although I have never treated my phones carefully. In any case, they will not be seen very much.
And the last two things:
1. Be sure to go to a large store and take about 5 minutes to use a bench sample before purchasing. May not like it.
2. In no case do not take a loan :) If there is cash on this phone - take it, if not - not worth it.

In sensitive people, as I have it causes visual fatigue and headaches. Also subpixels are made on the layout PenTile (not RGB), which reduces the actual clarity of the screen. In other words, high resolution compensates for the lack of PenTile, but the battery and CPU waste a lot on higher resolution calculations. These two drawbacks are inherent in all Samsung smartphones with AMOLED matrices.
iPhone X is a very unusual innovative smartphone. But for me personally, flickering the screen makes it impossible to use this phone for a long time.
2. You need to get used to the new gestures of management. If you are used to the Home button, then at first it will be inconvenient and unusual. But I think that it will be possible to get used.
3. Use Apple Pay for purchases too, need to relearn. First you need to turn on the smartphone (but not unlock), look at the screen perpendicularly to make Face ID face recognition work, then attach to the payment terminal. With Touch ID it was a little more comfortable.
I decided to stay on the iPhone 7 and wait for future models after the iPhone X - maybe they'll add a Touch ID scanner and fix flickering problems.
