Comment: The sound is chic. Bass in place, without fanaticism, everything is balanced. I listened to many headphones in the store, they are pleased most of all. Chic just Chic!

Advantages: 1) Durable construction and nice appearance. They create the impression of expensive and high-quality things. However, the impression is not deceptive, it is pleasant to hold such a thing in your hands.
2) Fairly balanced frequency response. With a stretch you can listen even without equalization. After equalization, it is clear that there were humps on 100 Hz, 2.5 kHz and 8 kHz. The bass is excellent, relative to the middle ones, it is not raised (except for 100 Hz) and is not failed, which is actually a rarity.
3) Play from virtually any source. Even a smartphone gives an almost acceptable volume. I listen in conjunction with the Fiio E7, the volume of the car.
4) They sit on my head almost perfectly. Light enough with a tight but unobtrusive hold-down. For people with large or protruding ears may not be suitable, space for the ears butt.

Disadvantages: There are no disadvantages as such. But everything is known in comparison. And I compare mainly under the same conditions with AKG K550, which I also own. ACG I subjectively like more. It is the sound.
1) It seems that the M-50's sound is still slightly simpler, flatter than anything. I'm not an audiophile, but I think so. And this is despite the fact that AKG require a much more serious intervention on equalization, especially in the field of bass.
2) And while ACG is cheaper.
In short, the advice is this, if you do not want to bother with a 30-band or parametric equalizer and want an acceptable bass from any hole - take the M-50, if you want a more interesting sound, but through dancing with a tambourine, then AKG K550.
3) I also noticed that the sound comes out more easily through the M-50. But next to a man in ACG you can sit at a meter and not hear anything. Another ACG is much softer and more tender that they sit on the head, but they are also heavier and the pressure is weak, which is also not suitable for everyone.

Comment: In general, I am very pleased with these headphones. I think the price is somewhat overestimated, especially in the new version of the M-50x (for example, I took something with 10 for something). Long doubted to take the old version or the new one. I took a new one, somehow strangling a toad :)

Advantages: Top, studio, folding, removable cable, amazing sound

Comment: Awesome headphones. The sound quality they have is fascinating. And high, and medium, and low, everything sounds very clean, nice and balanced. These headphones also look superbly. Immediately obvious - this is a real quality thing.

Advantages: 1. The crystal-clear reproduction of sounds, the sounds do not merge and are clearly separated from each other, there is no sensation of hum in loaded compositions.
At the same time very clear bass, not protruding.
2. Completeness: 3 cords and a handbag - oddly enough, but for different cases, I began to use different cords (with the exception of 2.5mm, no need), a case for storing and carrying, I hope will keep the appearance.
3. Low resistance - it is comfortable to listen to them directly from the source without an additional amplifier, the sound quality justifies the cost.
4. Fit tightly, not heavy.

Disadvantages: 1. When you put on headphones, the leather substitute worries on the rim, the external picture is no longer the same ... (I have an orange performance)
2. A disadvantage for me personally in comparison with Sony MDR-XB1000: not a pleasant sensation of vacuum on the ears - they are so closed that they sit down like a sucker and warm the ears, just like a device for increasing the size ... * ears

Comment: Headphones chose to dance in them, they perform the task 100%. Do not fly off with sudden movements. Give a clear sound picture. The wire sits even without fixing (there is a swivel lock) and flies out without any problems with an occasional jerk.
He began to clearly hear the difference m-mp3 and flac.
For the shortcomings, I did not minus they are subjective and not functional.

Advantages: Beautiful headphones for lovers of clear and detailed sound, owners of branded sound cards and top-end smartphones. Grade rich set of wires for all occasions. Crystal clear, in a word, their sound.

Disadvantages: Ridiculous pouch in the kit, tired of shoving and sticking out. In a spacious bag, and even better - a backpack, everything is so compactly folded and stored, since the construction is foldable.

Comment: Vorning! Headphones fit tightly on the head. Some complain about the force of pressure, but I liked it so much, because previously I often had to press the cups of weak “ears” in order to fully experience the sound, and the head flyer gave the nominal pressure. Here you do not need to press anything with your hands, everything is pressed as it should. Head can make sharp movements, run to the bus, if necessary - nothing falls.

Advantages: Chic top headphones from Audio-Technica. He strangled the "inner toad" and bought them. The sound in the studio is simply amazing! In this case, the headphones are very mobile, thanks to a removable cable and the ability to fold them.

Disadvantages: They have no disadvantages.

Comment: I really liked these headphones. Often I take them home from the studio. And I cannot imagine working in a studio without them. Recommend!

Advantages: Of course the sound. It can be called a monitor, because each track sounded new, as if the sound depends only on the track, and not on the headphones.
Good low frequencies, not pressing on the ear, as in some other headphones. Top gorgeous. I do not advise taking them for games, it is impossible to play them, only for music. Headphones are suitable mainly for instrumental music, for electronics is not very, but this is someone you like.
Foldable, movable design. Allows you to monitor 1 ear, comfortable to wear around the neck (you can dress around the neck and turn the calyx to the chest). Headphones on the head are kept well, as a whole is comfortable.
Removable cable, it is very convenient. You can put the headphones separately from the cable, do not carry with them a 3 meter cable, like a headphone with a non-removable cable.
Included is a bag for headphones with a corporate logo, it is quite convenient to carry headphones in it.
Noise isolation is above average, you can hear engine noise in a gazelle.
Appearance is good, you can walk around the city.

Disadvantages: Moving parts made of plastic are not very good, because over time they can wear off, but I smeared them a little with silicone grease for plastic.
Thin pillow on the headband, so that no head would hurt, you must correctly position the headband.
For me, they turned out to be more bold, even if they were fully folded, they sag a little, squeezing the lower part of the ear cushion over the head.

Comment: Headphones are actually smaller in size than they look in a photo on the Internet. At the beginning, the ear cushions seemed somewhat stiff to me, but then the headphones relaxed a bit and the pressure on the head decreased.

In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, but the price for them is a bit overpriced, I took for 7200r, but I would give no more than 6500 for them.

UPD: Changed my opinion, the headphones fully justify the price, it has already been several months after the purchase, but I can’t get enough of it.

Advantages: - great sound (fairly honest and without obvious flaws)
- good sound insulation (for the street / transport - sufficient)
- construction without obvious weak points
- spectacular appearance, IMHO (took the Blue version)
- a detachable cord (no need to crawl over the system unit to disconnect / attach if you want to listen to music on a different technique)
- low impedance, which allows almost without problems (see comment) to listen to music on players / smartphones / tablets

Disadvantages: - extremely considerable price (it is necessary to thoroughly smother your toad)
- (individual) embouchures too small
- require the purchase of a sound card and update the audio library
- uncomfortable position of the plug socket, the cord often clings to the collar

Comment: The M50x are my first expensive monitors, and they suit me 90%.
The map - Creative SB Z. Basses - at first it seems that there are few of them, but then you understand - it is: dense, without too much hum / bubbling / chatter, sufficient depth (up to 40 Hz, if you believe the equalizers and your ears). The middle is detailed and natural. Top - everything is in place, do not cut the ear. All three complete laces are involved (direct - PC, short - tablet, spring - receiver). True, there are a few fly in the ointment. The first pair (personal) - the enclosures are a bit small (solvable - they are removable, I will soon do it); headphones attract extra looks on the street. Third, the Realtek (MSI Z77 mother), smartphone / tablet (Note 2 / Galaxy Tab Pro) give a mediocre (dingy and not bright) sound with a low maximum volume. So, on a PC, it will be necessary to acquire a normal sound card, and for a tablet / smartphone I used V4A - it allowed me to squeeze the volume to a sufficient level, and make the sound more close to listening on a PC. The fourth - I had to radically go over the available audio library - everything that is not of CD origin (for example, from Youtube), too compressed (mp3 128 - 192kbits) and just not badly ripped does not sound like I would already like: / So gradually all my favorite moves to flac :)

Advantages: First of all, it is sound. The build quality, detachable cord, of which there are three, sit comfortably enough. Good sound insulation for overhead headphones.

Disadvantages: Not very suitable for portable use. After a couple of hours, my ears still get tired. The socket for the cord is not very conveniently located, it would be better to have an angle of 15 degrees. Curved hands of some sound producers.

Comment: I listened mainly on iBasso DX50. Great sound throughout the frequency range. Deep enough, but fast bass, you feel all the nuances. Pure mids, perfectly convey vocals, especially female, creates a certain intimacy, just feel the movement of the lips. Excellent top, there are as many as you need, no tightness is felt, and at a comfortable volume they do not cut the ears. The sound is not dry, it does not bother, but the shoals of the sounders are audible. detachable cable is a useful thing. At home, one is connected, the second one with me, come, rearranged and everything, no need to climb to the connector. Their money is definitely worth it.

Advantages: The bass is the best of everything I've heard - powerful, with a "wading" subbass. The middle and top are very clean and balanced.The sound is just wonderful, it clings from the first note, I want to listen again and again. In my opinion, these headphones are most preferable for rock and pop music, but other genres and trends sound great.
Very reliable design, despite the relatively small weight of the headphones are very durable.
Headphones have low resistance, they can be used with any sound sources. I included them in different sound cards, in smartphones, in a laptop, everywhere the sound is very good.
Comfortable as far as possible for closed headphones.
Includes three cables of different types and lengths.

Disadvantages: Significant deficiencies are not found. From the little things - the cable sticking out of the headphones has a rather long connector, sometimes it clings to the collar.

Comment: Headphones are a variant of the very popular ATH-M50 model, the difference is that the M50X has a detachable cable. The difference in sound compared to the previous model I did not notice, in the convenience of wearing, too, there are no significant differences. Three cables are included with headphones. The connector on the headphones is durable, the cable is securely fixed by turning. The cables themselves are thick and durable.
Headphones closed, but sound insulation is not perfect. In a noisy subway car, I would not recommend using them.
Overall great headphones. If you want a cool sound for reasonable money - take it, no doubt.
