I personally wear it conveniently, but I had to spend time choosing an appropriate fit. Sound insulation is good, but without fanaticism - you can forget about bass in the subway.
The sound is quite specific. The emphasis is made, it seems to me, at medium frequencies and slightly less at high frequencies. Bass ... let's say: enough (for my taste). In general, the sound tends to be neutral: if it is on the record, then it will be audible. For example, in the RHCP remasters, the bottoms are always felt, and Subways often sizzle with sibilants. Dr. Cesky’s binaural recordings amaze with their volume and depth of scene. And what's the detail here! String instruments sound pretty damn natural. (M50x definitely lose on this parameter, and even more so MDR-1A. Better I heard only DT 770 Pro.)
In the aggregate, all this gave the sound just like I was looking for. Personally, I really like it.

Disadvantages: The cable, for such a price, it was possible to shove the cable even better, even if it was one of a high-quality assembly (the plug is loose and not solid, but the component feels as if it will collapse).

Comment: Quality. The headphones themselves are made at the proper level and look at their value and are felt in the hands as well. They let down only the cable, they feel cheap. Excessive downforce headphone (I think over time stretched). Ambyushury, though made of artificial leather, but of very high quality (I gave all to whom I held them in my hands and said that it was leather). Now it's early spring in the yard. the weather is still cool, but after two hours of listening to music, the ears get hot and you have to pause so that both the ears and the headphones get cold (the situation will get worse in summer).
Sound. The sound initially seemed to be inflated with higher frequencies, and hearing already cut off when the plates entered the battle, but over time the headphones warmed up and now I can confidently say that this sound is the most favorite sound I've heard. Low frequencies as prescribed by a doctor are written out exactly in the amount you need, right golden mean (only after warming up, they were not enough initially). Mid frequencies they are and they are enough. My first impression after warming up - In front of me and the music disappeared that fog that prevented me from enjoying the music to the fullest. I started listening to my favorite songs and what was my surprise when I was on Kish recordings (these are not the highest quality songs in my collection, but a beloved band) I heard the musician accidentally touch the next string on the guitar and it is barely audible but audible !!! , at this moment, a shiver ran through my body, surprise and delight blocked the other feelings (over ten years of more or less conscious life, I never heard these sounds, and there were many such moments in the recording, I became, if I may say so, "a hunter for sounds " ).I began to surf the Internet in search of high-quality songs, I discovered new musicians for myself, I just get high when I download an album of 8 songs weighing 3.6 GB in the hope of hearing "clear sound" and "clear performance" and get them, the buzz with nothing comparable. Advantages: 1) The sound is excellent - a fairly wide panorama, excellent top and middle. Bass does not "stick out", it may seem a little to someone, but they are all clearly distinguishable, there is no bass buzz, as, for example, in Sony MDR-1A. Guitar compositions, jazz, vocals - everything sounds great. In my opinion, the sound is the best headphones in its price range (up to 20000r.)
2) Design - headphones look great. Appearance, of course, taken from Sony 1A, but what's the difference if it looks great? Quality materials do not creak, look and feel reliably.
3) Equipment - 3 cables of different lengths. In particular, one cable with a microphone. Leatherette case included.

Disadvantages: Too tight fit. Headphones are strongly pressed to the ears, and personally I do not have enough space for the ears "inside" the headphones - the drivers touch the edges of the ears, which is why after an hour of listening the ears start to hurt. Forget about the fact that the headphones are worn on you, it is impossible, they will constantly remind about themselves. I finally had to pass the headphones because of this, because there were marks on the ears, and they simply hurt after listening. Most likely people with small ears, these headphones fit. Anyone I gave to listen to these headphones, also noted a tight fit.

Comment: I advise you to listen to these headphones before you buy at least 10 minutes to understand how hard they are for you.
The sound of the headphones is chic for its price. Compared with:
1) Sennheiser momentum over-ear (the audio equipment is higher than the head, the senhi seem terribly deaf, and the tools are much less picky)
2) Beyerdynamic dt 770 pro (buyers are much stronger bass, but the sound is not so detailed, the plates are sandwiched compared to msr7, no ringing)
3) Ultrasone performance 860.
4) Bose soundtrue around-ear II (these are very light, for convenience they are probably the best, but the sound is not very impressive, not as rich as in Sony, audio equipment or senheiser, the bass seemed even smaller than that of audio equipment)
5) Sony MDR-1A (the top and middle of them are slightly worse than the audio technology, but at a good level; they do not press as msr7; the bass seemed a bit too much, that is, the sound is sometimes too boomy, you had to remove the bass to enjoy the music .
6) Audio-technica ath-m50x (more bass compared to msr7, but the sound is not so detailed. Still, msr7 is just a continuation and improvement of the 50s, and it feels)

Bottom line: the sound, in my opinion, in this price range is better than all msr7, then sony mdr-1A comes. If you are satisfied with the landing msr7, then feel free to take them. If not, I would advise Sonya.
Personally, after having already heard enough audio-technica msr7, I did not want to take headphones with sound worse, so I bought not Sonya, but headphones are much more expensive through ebay - audio-technica ath-a1000x).

Advantages: Pts are not bad for this price range, the sound is quite clear, the bass is hloysky deep

Disadvantages: not for hard rock, not a big stage (I was upset by Pts, but my source of sound is probably important)

Comment: all ears are not for everyone! I hang out, not for hard rock! Pts play well jazz, blues, voice och naturally conveyed) compared them with beyerdynamic 880 pro and sony mdr 1a, remained under the impression of msr7, I listen to a bunch of names x3-2, in general, for electronic music, they somehow listened to them colorful c4 pro and the scene turned out to be wider than in full so that headphones with potential) be sure to listen to heavy format music, for example dsd, there they will reveal themselves full)) they like the bass, especially when they play drums, it sounds cool)
the materials are high quality, more or less well assembled, Pts fit tightly because of this sound insulation just at the height, but there is also a flip side of the coin, after an hour of listening cause discomfort on the head, darling crushes, ears also get tired to listen, want to give them rest) in general, the ears are good in their segment and they do not look poor)

Advantages: Clean, detailed, airy, comfort, convenience, interchangeable cables

Disadvantages: plastic in the mounting cups, not under all genres are equally good. The upper middle is bright.

Comment: I didn’t immediately appreciate these headphones, they are pretty bright, but they are forgivable)
I’ll say right now metallags - we pass by - these headphones are not for you, you will be disappointed. for metal x50. For the rest of the genres are great. Namely music lovers, mixing and monitoring should be done in others, these headphones listen to music and enjoy) classical, jazz, blues, soft rock, flamenco and other instrumental music, vocals, and just pop and electronics are excellent! There is no mumbling and barrel effect inherent in normally closed headphones, the scene again for closed ones is quite decent. Reinforcement detail and elastic clear bass. on especially heavy genres there is a shortage of the lower classes, on ordinary genres, there is just enough. In the wake of the experiments I sold them, now I regret that I will buy again, only not black, but brown, painfully beautiful)

Advantages: Instrumental music sounds very cool - lively, bright, sometimes directly permeating the soul. The female vocals sound slightly better than the male ones, but the difference is insignificant - both are very graceful and juicy. The middle and bottom of the headphones are good, but still their main chip - the upper Aktavy. Ergonomic, soft ear cushions, headphones sat on the head immediately. I spend 1,5-2 hours a day in them in the evenings - there is no fatigue and no headaches. Brown coating looks very beautiful.

Disadvantages: Sometimes it happens excessively high frequencies, you have to adjust the equalizer. Marky, it’s better not to go outside often, otherwise they quickly lose their beautiful appearance.

Comment: "Out of the box" sound greatly hears, so at first I didn’t like them very much. But after a couple of days, they sounded differently and they delighted me. ATH-MSR7 play well even from the phone, but from the sound card and player it sounds clearly better.

Advantages: Sooo comfortable in my head. Made very high quality-nothing, nothing squeaks at all when walking, unlike SONY mdr1a. Externally, the same as Sony is beautiful. Yes, a little more massive than Sonya, but the speakers are 45mm and not 40.

Disadvantages: The wires, though not twisted, but some kind of springy, all the time trying to curl up into a ring. The impression from the box seemed to be too high, but ...

Comment: In the previous review, this model was compared to Sony mdr1a and I also compared and made conclusions for myself. Sony has been with me for a little over a year and thought to look for a 3-4 month replacement after a purchase. My ears are tired of an overabundance of hefty top and excessive bottom Finding out about the stock in one well-known store bought ATH-MSR7 for 9990r. Taking it out of the box, it seemed like a bit high, but ... one cotton pad under the ear cushions and the sound miraculously transformed. Fast, dense, deep, not prevalent as in mdr1a bottom, beautiful and detailed middle, which is killed by excessive bass and riding Sony and absolutely without sibilants are clean, transparent high - this is the sound of Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7. I hope more warming will do its job in terms of improving the sound. Yes, I am listening in conjunction with FIIO x5-2.

Advantages: Bright, strong top, clean and uncompressed middle and bottoms. The body is very beautiful and elegant (I have a brown color). Grade is very generous.

Disadvantages: Not found

Comment: Headphones in which one sheer pleasure to listen to classics, especially stringed instruments. In the first days after the purchase could not tear them away.
