Disadvantages: The headphones have a very ambiguous top: on the frequency response you can see a sharp rise at high frequencies. Therefore, on some material (as a rule, with a terribly high volume), we can hear terrible chats. Someone might like it - but for me personally it was very hard to listen to, say, the album "Toxicity" System of a Down. The same problem with some electronic music (Flying Lotus’s beloved Cosmogramma was hearing the same in a similar way).

Comment: When I bought, I was afraid that an amplifier would be needed. It turned out that 250 ohms is not so much in my case. I use the M-Audio Profire 610. The volume knob is usually twisted a little more than half (so that the power of the built-in amplifier of this sound card is enough with excess).
Further, about their sound: the headphones are bright, but not redundant - you can listen to almost any genre in them, since the bass is also abundant. But not everything sounds good to them (due to inflated tops) - the recompressed material sounds awful (and today almost everything suffers from this misfortune, at least some suitable for radio broadcasting, or those genres where the sound quality is not particularly soared (experimental electron scale)).
I think I should take one more headset: more neutral ones, such as the Sennheiser HD 650 (they are not competitors with this beyerdynamic, as they sound different!), Because in these you can’t hear everything.

And I’ll say that I really was glad to hear what I heard. Although I’m not a fan of this artist, I want to listen and listen to him on the bares! In general, I listened to the entire album without a break, I launched a blues album for joy, it also sounded very high quality.
But I was disappointed when I turned on jrock. Then I realized that the middle is not enough. The vocals and instruments are not heard behind the "Baer" bass, the character of the sound and the brains are high.
In general, and in general at the beginning it will be possible to wow the effect of headphones. But in the future if you listen to different music, they may disappoint you. As it was with me. I'm not going to sell them, but now I'm looking for myself a second model for "other" music.

Disadvantages: Unfortunately, in these headphones you hear the recording as it really is, the main purpose of the headphones is studio work. In other words, if the track was conceived with a predominance of high frequencies (metal and its derivatives), then at the exit you get a high-frequency blow to the ears, hence the source should be selected soft! With the bass is the same, in some cases, you can get vibro headphones :)
