Advantages: One sheer dignity !!! This is a masterpiece of scientific thought in jigsaws. Even it is a pity to exploit:) On the sideboard under the glass))) I liked that the jigsaw fits into the grooves and not just lays down (therefore fixedly fixed and not loose.) Any set ( s) files.
Disadvantages: No backlight (if you count this as a disadvantage).
Comment: I chose between MAkita 4350 and DW. I bought DW and did not regret it at all. Makita of course is also a good thing, but DW is just a space (for me). I fall in love with it more and more. Build Czech Republic.

Advantages: Ergonomics, power, duration of continuous work, accuracy (with one reservation - using good files), low vibrations, quick file change without screws, excellent rubber cable, excellent case (perhaps black and yellow have the most comfortable tool cases), without unnecessary marketing trinkets.
Disadvantages: Dusty, although it is a problem of almost all jigsaws, with the exception of the higher price segment. Not the best shield from the scattering of sawdust, the feeling that it is universal for several models with different fasteners and, therefore, when installing it, there are gaps. Just nozzle for a vacuum cleaner is not quite thought out - the pipe is too narrow, if you cut the material forming large sawdust, then sometimes it gets clogged, mostly it happens on an inexpensive chipboard. There is no illumination of the working area, but personally I don’t need it (for example, there is a bit on the mill, but still I’m a little confused because wood dust clogs the treatment area).
Comment: I have been using this device since 2008, choosing among Metabo 700-watt models, Bosch Blue, Makita, Hitachi. Household and the Chinese did not consider - for I love a good tool. More expensive Festul, Protul, Mafel, Milwaukee and other industrial tools were not considered either - they are expensive, and they are not really needed at home.
What can be said about it is bad - it is too heavy for untrained hands (still, the mechanics are all metal), so that for a fragile housewife will not work, I wrote about sawdust above, perhaps all the flaws). Further advantages: reliable and simple as AK, the level of vibration is so insignificant that if the jigsaw is left on (without a file) on any horizontal surface, it will not move anywhere. During use, a decent amount of furniture was built (nightstands, tables, wall cabinets) and many ready-made furniture were redone, several interior partitions were built (non-capital of MDF and plywood), sawn out of the gage and laminate.Materials saws almost any using appropriate files: Laminated chipboard and plywood up to 50mm (thicker was not necessary, I think and will cope with them), paneling, blockhouse, laminate, MDF / HDF, aluminum pipes and corners up to 7mm thick (again I think will cope with thicker - there is a power reserve), coniferous timber 70-100mm (with long files), hardwood timber (oak, beech, ash) up to 50mm. Conveniently lies in the hands, but it is individual. In general, I highly recommend it, provided that it falls into your hand.

Advantages: + Very smooth tool travel. even at maximum speed, he stands like a glove, does not twitch.
+ Package. Very convenient small plastic suitcase. Perhaps the best tool case for instument that I kept. All boshi nervously smoking. there is also an anti-splash shield and a shield and a tube for a vacuum cleaner. All these accessories really come in handy.
+ Sawdust blows off the cutting line very high quality and strong. And the force is adjustable blown.
+ Quick replacement of the sawing and turning the sole. I never used a turn of a sole, but a quick replacement of a file is a class! The file shoots in as if it were poured without any distortions, and you can insert files of different thickness, everything is holding up perfectly, changing with a couple of movements. I used to be sawing the radii with a direct saw, and the straight ones with a radius due to the lengthy procedure for replacing the saw. Now for each kind of cut I change the file. Therefore, they serve more effectively and longer.
+ The file runs straight and straight, it does not lead to the side. Perpendicular cut at height.
+ Very comfortable grip jigsaw, and it is possible to keep the jigsaw and reverse grip.
+ Gear is almost not heated.
+ Smooth start and adjustment of turns. As well as constant electronics.
+ Long (even too) rubber cord.

Disadvantages: - No parallel support included. Of course, using a jigsaw to cut long straight lines is nonsense, but if someone regularly does this type of work, keep in mind.
- Plastic transparent accessories are poorly fitted to the tool. The flap sits with gaps and the anti-splint liner frankly dangles in the sole. I drank with files of the 308 series, so I do not use an anti-slip insert, but it’s still unpleasant.
- The tube for a vacuum cleaner is very thin. Sawdust sucks perfectly, but a vacuum cleaner with such a small air flow thinks that its filter is clogged and regularly switches on a dust blower. I had to drill an extra hole in this accessory.
- No backlight. With the flap on, the cut line becomes not very visible. And if the shield is removed, then a little sawdust, but fly to the side.
- Service and support of this brand in Russia. Horse prices, even for nonsense, the terms are long, and you will find the FIG service itself. I was fortunate enough to avoid communicating with them, but my acquaintances were left with unpleasant impressions (they didn’t break a jigsaw, if that.)

Comment: I use more than a year. Jigsaw of course not Festul, but for your money - the best tool, you can not even doubt. He took for curly neat and accurate cuts. copes with its task perfectly! Minor flaws in the calculation do not take. Many comparable and even more expensive jigsaws (for example, the same Bosch or Makit) have significantly more disadvantages! Yes, and they break more often. For those who have ceased to clamp the sole - read the instructions, there are two bolts on the bottom, one regulating, the second contracting. Customize them and you will be happy. This is not a flaw.
Chose between the top models of blue Bosch, Makita and that. Dewalt won by a large margin.

Advantages: Perfect tool for semi-professional use. Pilit ALL !!!
Disadvantages: Did not notice!
Comment: I bought DeWalt DW 331 K in the online store with delivery to Ufa. Service and terms are very pleased. The operator clarified everything and delivered on time. I liked the advice on the product.Clear and understandable! I bought a jigsaw for myself for semi-professional use and made no mistake in choosing. Until this month, 3 chose between DeWalt and Makita. He stopped at DeWalt for quality, assembly and lots of useful reviews. Very practical tool. Now I am making a roof for a garage and home renovation. I drink EVERYTHING !!! And 10-ka boards, and 40-bar timber, and a lot of things thicker, even sawed tiles in the bathroom. RECOMMEND TO TAKE !!! Something, and jigsaws DeWalt makes BETTER than ALL!

Advantages: Powerful, no additional tools are required to rotate the sole and replace the file
Disadvantages: In less than a year of not intensive work, the screw came off (judging by the pendulum).
Comment: I have two identical jigsaw.
In less than a year of not intensive work, the screw came off (judging by the pendulum) and the casing burst.
Took to repair the warranty.
The second one began to cut with a cone. They thought the problem was in the files, they put the file in another jigsaw, it turned out to be even.
While I understand.

Advantages: - Smooth cut. In order for a file to be taken away on it, one must try very hard. I have not seen such a stunning accuracy in any jigsaw. From what has been held in the hands of: Bosch, Makita, Interskol - all this is just a wobbling rattles against the backdrop of DeWolt.
- Smooth ride, low vibrations, the softest start. Just do not convey in words how accurately you can begin to drink;
- Ingenious constructive. All the nodes are absolutely unique Devoltovskys, it is clear that they did not copy anything from anyone, they just took and invented the perfect jigsaw again. What is one quick replacement of the file: unscrewed the lock - the file fell out, put in a new one - it locked itself. The whole mechanism is entirely metal, the feeling at the sight is only one thing: it is made soundly and efficiently.
- The fixing system of the support site is a separate topic. Everything is also very convenient. Handle shape - excellent;
- A long flexible cord made of soft rubber is the first sign of a professional tool.
- Setting up everything and everything: 7 speeds, 4 "angle of attack" of the canvas (ie, adjustment of the pendulum), tilting the platform, adjusting the force of blowing off sawdust, removable casing of the sole (so as not to scratch delicate material);
- Excellent case;
- Design;
- Price! Took over 5650 p. Just a freebie for such a tool. It could well be worth two times more expensive, and even then it would fully justify its value;

Disadvantages: I do not see any particular flaws in it. But I will find fault with:
- I am left-handed, for me personally, the shutter-release button is located unsuccessfully: it is most convenient to press it with the thumb of the right hand. When you hold the jigsaw in the left - so it will not work. For 90% of right-handed operators, this problem is not relevant.
- No backlight, but it does not interfere. And in general, I consider all sorts of bells and whistles such as highlights, a system of double rollers, etc. nothing more than marketing gimmicks. I have one backlit tool - the Dremel glue gun. So what? Shines all the same past the place of gluing. A friend has a screwdriver with exactly the same drawback.
A simple analogy (I exaggerate, of course): what is better - a cheap Chinese music center with a bunch of colored lights, buttons, a graphic equalizer and a cardboard sound, or a hi-fi stereo system - a minimalistic aluminum parallelepiped with a single volume knob, but with a awesome sound ? Here is the same. I don't give a damn about the fact that there is no illumination, if it is a jigsaw that cuts better and more evenly than others, even in total darkness.
- One single file in the kit is not a minus, it is another plus. You pay a fair amount only for the tool itself. When you buy an all-in-one kit for the same money, you actually take a cheaper and less high-quality tool, overpaying for the consumables that are included in the total cost, which you can also buy at any time.

Comment: This is not a jigsaw, this is a steam locomotive.It goes as clearly as on rails, it starts off just as smoothly, it is just as powerful, it even looks something like, except that there is no beep! :)
Regarding the problem of choosing “the DeWalt DW331K jigsaw against the _____ jigsaw (to write in the correct one),” I will say this: I do not believe that there is any one single manufacturer who is fucking doing everything without exception. Someone, due to various reasons, has better perforators, someone has screwdrivers, etc. Therefore, I do not understand when they say "take only Bosch!" or "Rulit only Makita!" Everyone succeeded in something specific. We must not look at nameplates, but on the constructive model of a particular model. The same situation with jigsaws: I’m not a fan of DeWalt as if I were a brand as a whole, but at the moment their jigsaw idea has gone farther than its competitors.
And the secret is simple: the brand’s birthplace is the USA We recall that there 90% of private housing is wooden frame-panel houses and we understand why DeWalt pumped this way in the field of woodworking - a powerful domestic market obliges)
As for more reviews on Makit's jigsaws, Bosch, etc., than on DeWalt - everything is simple. Go to any building hypermarket and see what basically lies on the shelves. That's right: cheap household tools of popular brands. People buy the first thing that comes across, and then - “every bastard praises its own swamp” - under the influence of the euphoria from the purchase, it all pours into the Internet, and now we read how green Bosh they start to saw with the precision of a CNC milling machine.
So filter the information, do not limit yourself to studying the Yandex market, ask the hard workers, read the forums, but rather - find an opportunity to try the tool in action.

Advantages: Excellent cut, not work, but pleasure
Disadvantages: In the complete set in Russia there is no file, for a cut flush.
Comment: Perfectly balanced jigsaw, I find it difficult to name the competitors in quality and softness of sawing. As for fixing the sole, whose arms are straight, turn the jigsaw upside down, through the hole in the sole we see a blued screw, locked with galvanized steel, and that is how the clamping force is adjusted. And when setting the soles to 0 degrees, move it back, and then tighten the lever. A big plus is the presence of a soft start and maintaining speed under load. Also a huge plus in adjusting the speed from 0 to 3100. Long, rubber cord (4m). Excellent professional tool. I think the case of jamming, described below, is single, and it may happen with Maybach .... This is a cult jigsaw, it has been produced, refined and reliable for years, like a bicycle.
I do not regret the purchase, the next jigsaw will be the same.

Advantages: Certainly a powerful device, saws smoothly, it is pleasant to work, a long cord, convenience in changing the webs and setting the cutting angle, a good case in the kit.
Disadvantages: It feels like transparent plastic protection is not against this model, the so-called blowing of sawdust practically does not work, for such money you could have made the backlight and laser, and also put not a single file for the tree, but a whole combination kit.
Comment: Well, the main drawback is in my unit, the fact that after a couple of months of amateur work (several hours every two weeks) at the dacha it stuck. With a partial careful disassembly (so that the service did not cancel the guarantee), a broken cog fell out of it, which probably fastened some constructions inside, since after that, the wedge disappeared, but when turned on, a lot of things went wrong. Naturally, everything was twisted back with a cog, which I just threw inside the jigsaw and took it to the guarantee workshop. The jigsaw was repaired to me, and the master very reluctantly and quietly (so that other service staff did not hear) admitted that my Devalt didn’t go that far before and didn’t talk about it in past enthusiasm have to - build at the level of China. I don’t know what the devil pulled me to buy this jigsaw and maybe it’s just an accident (although the master’s words refute this), because I have a lot of good tools from Makit, who have been working without any breakdowns and failures over the past few years.Of course, one had to buy a Makitovsky jigsaw of the same price category, with the same characteristics, but also with lighting, and the quality there, as always, is on par. And that I was completely unpleasantly surprised by the cost of my repair, if it were not made under warranty - three thousand rubles (as the master told me) with a jigsaw cost 5700 rubles. And this all happened with a tool that is positioned as super reliable. Draw conclusions.

Gave work to friends, also very pleased.

Disadvantages: My brother has the same, after a year of use, the swing sole has ceased to be fixed.
