It consumes surprisingly little, significantly less than stationary systems.

Comment: I live in a rented apartment and had to think about a mobile air conditioner. A month ago, I bought it. The exhaust pipe is inserted into the hole of the outlet ventilation in the wall - it turned out comfortable, tight and neat. Additionally, I wrapped the pipe with heat insulation so that it would not warm the room.

As an air conditioner, this thing works well. A room of 20 squares and a corridor behind it for an hour of continuous work cools degrees by three. Summer in Novosibirsk did not work this year, and therefore it wasn’t possible to check in tough conditions “on the street +35”, but summer is summer anyway: even when it’s raining and cool, it’s stuffy and not comfortable in the apartment. The conditioner copes with this sensation, cools and dries the air at the same time.

Temperature control is fairly accurate. When the desired temperature is reached, the compressor is turned off and only the fan is working. When heated, it turns on again.

There are two significant drawbacks, but they are typical of all mobile systems.
1. Strong noise, with noise from the compressor. Those. however slow down the fan speed will not help.
2. For the operation of the air conditioner, it is necessary that the flow of fresh air be organized into the apartment, as for the air conditioner constantly takes the air out of the room and spits it out through the pipe. Accordingly, a reduced pressure is formed in the room, so you have to open a window in another room, and this immediately reduces the overall efficiency of air conditioning, compared to split systems.

I did not notice the difference in modes between cooling at low speed and dehumidification, since no flaps or fan operation modes inside does not switch. In my opinion this is the same thing.
Fan mode is not clear why you need, any floor fan is more convenient. Night mode is useless, because the noise is still determined by the compressor, and if it works, then it is impossible to sleep.

The general conclusion is. As a mobile air conditioner, this thing works.
But, if there is an opportunity to put a normal split system, then you need to put it. The mobile device has no advantages.
