Epson L210 Reviews

Evaluation 5
Advantages: Excellent photo print quality, excellent print quality, quiet mode (better than Canon MP250, but prints slower), built-in CISS, low ink consumption (after printing 800+ photos and 200+ ordinary documents, more than half of all colors left after the second refill ink)
Disadvantages: There is no borderless printing (both for photos and for ordinary documents), when you first start a long ink pumping (~ 15 minutes), when you start printing you hear a rather loud high-frequency beep that does not disappear when the silent mode is turned on. It does not take glossy photo paper 10x15 and 13x18 from Velton with a density of 200 g / m2, starts whistling if you insert glossy photo paper A5 or 10x15 with a density of 230 g / m2, but LOMOND takes it without problems.
Comment: Bought a printer in early July 2013, very satisfied.

Advantages: + consumables (replaced them with a laser printer, and this is already talking about something!)
+ good body material
+ decent scan quality
+ two modes of the copier: color and b / w
+ print quality text, diagrams, etc.
Disadvantages: - paper grab mechanism
- photo print quality

Quibble:
- not very comfortable buttons (especially on)
- sooooo long first launch
Comment: Consumables: packs of sheets go faster than sets of paints (with previous printers it was all the other way around), currently black ink has decreased by a third, and colored ones are even less spent. During the use of the printer, it took a little less than 1000 ordinary A4 sheets (mostly text, drawings, diagrams, drawings), about 10 A4 sheets of matte photo paper (I print a little as unnecessary).

The mechanism of paper capture: it seems that the main consumables printer will be it. Loud, flimsy, unreliable. He refused to take the glossy thick paper that the previous printers “ate”; he was halfway there, he had to be pulled out by force.

Photo print quality: not the best. Contrast "naughty", the color is not very. You have to mess with color profiles, etc. I use paper not original, but of good quality.

Print quality of text, diagrams, etc. Does not cause complaints, as in the b / w mode, and in color.

With the tasks for which he bought, the printer copes. Four for the combination of deficiencies that are noticed.

Evaluation 5
Advantages: 3 to 1, respectively, takes up little space. In less than 8,000 rubles, having a printer with the original CISS + scanner is great. The quality of printing documents is good. Photo (high-quality photographic paper) loses very little printed on special equipment. It works quite quietly, does not vibrate (compared to canon IP4200).
Disadvantages: No borderless printing, duplex printing. The paper exit hole doesn’t cover up during idle time; dust accumulates in it. Prints pages with pictures and photos slowly. On some pages there are black spots.
Comment: Ideal for home (especially if there is a schoolboy or student).

Evaluation 4
Advantages: low ink consumption (about 500 sheets of both black and white and total ink consumption of about 20%), relatively good color printing with high settings in the settings.
Disadvantages: low print speed with high quality.
Comment: if you buy in the hope of printing photos on it, then I do not recommend it, because The quality is still not sufficient. In principle, a good model for home use.

Evaluation 4
Advantages: Easy to handle. Good contrast printing. Convenient access to CISS tanks
Disadvantages: Too much noise when feeding paper. When printing starts, it jerks too much, if a restrictive bar is not installed, a paper feed distortion is obtained. There is no display and maintenance panel on the printer itself.
Comment: After four months of printing photos, I began to refuse to accept photographic paper 10x15 with a density of more than 130ml. Sometimes it can print several pieces, and then either passes it through itself, without printing, or issues a "paper jam". By the way, his predecessor Epson TX419 also suffered from this until he finally died. I do not print much, but it was often strange that one color (blue) stopped printing. Attempting to clean the print head (at least 10 times) did not lead to anything and had to apply technological cleaning according to the instructions. After that, the ink level dropped 10 to 15 mm and a grayish tint began to be printed instead of blue. Consequently, print quality has changed dramatically. The level of the black cartridge has greatly decreased, while the blue has remained practically unchanged. Have to bear in service.

Advantages: CISS ...
Disadvantages: ))) .. first day of work ..
Comment: Good day .. I bought today at Gorbushka, in Moscow .. 02.11.2013g. What was needed: a home, a good photo .. the ability to photocopy documents ... Installed strictly according to the instructions .. (I don’t like it) .. but decided not to ruin the device with my curiosity .. I first printed a copy of the black and white document .. I liked .. then put the color document on the copy .. also seems to be nothing .. there are of course differences .. but apparently it all depends on the type of paper and the settings .. Then I went to the photo .. I immediately took the usb cable when I bought it, because it is not included in the kit .. issue price is 150 rubles. and a pack of photo paper .. 10-15 (premium semigloss epson), as explained that it is a paper that is somewhere between glossy and matte .. the cost is not a small 500 r ... 50 sheets .. And began experimenting with a photo .. Nothing at first It really did not work out .. the quality of the photo left much to be desired. There was no clarity .. and the colors were not appropriate shooting .. but then I figured it out .. And life got better .. I just want to say .. the photo quality is the same as I ordered in the photo workshop, but this is if you put it in the best settings. Before that there was HP .. guzzled money on the cartridges only on the way .. there shouldn't be any problems with it at all .. poured paint and print .. The result ... I didn’t find a better device at home .. there is a cost-effectiveness .., by noise ..- not at all noisy .. for speed .. - with good print quality (at home) it is not needed at all .. In short .. I do not regret .. and I recommend you .. If there are jambs .. I will write ..

Advantages: For the house - the most - that is necessary! 3 in 1 !!
Very easy to install and use, which is also important for home!
Thanks to the sales assistant in that he dissuaded from Canon, whose consumables are orders of magnitude more expensive, and there is so much ink here !!!
Small, ink is poured easily.
Disadvantages: Photos of course are not perfect - but this is not a professional photo printer ...
Comment: Home as an MFP is a very good option!

Advantages: CISS, MFP, Linux support, low cost of consumables, high print quality
Disadvantages: not yet discovered
Comment: The printer was purchased after the dried-up Canon MP250 (it didn’t repair any more - it was too expensive to maintain, and the print quality was not satisfactory). Acquired Epson L210 - happy with the purchase. This printer fully satisfies my needs - the quality of photos is really gorgeous (I print on a matte lombard) despite the four colors in the CISS.

Checked this picture here - http://www.dpreview.com/PrinterReviews/1107allinoneprinters/images/Testphoto.jpg visually could not detect a single defect of the printer (which actually was surprised, because I expected the worst result).

The design of the CISS is quite simple - there should be no problems with it, everything is done fairly well. It scans with a bang (under Linux it installs a utility that integrates with Gimp - various scanning modes work, with preview, like on other operating systems, and not just via SimpleScan - like it was with Canon). I took drivers for Linux here: http://download.ebz.epson.net/dsc/search/01/search/searchModule - at the moment everything works perfectly.

Those goals that I set before him: printing photos, helping my son at school, scanning documents - are fully achieved. It seems that it seems that the price is 7t.r. somewhat overestimated, but on the other hand, given the very low cost of the original paint (yes, I will finally fill the printer with the original paint - the price is such that the toad does not suffocate) it is possible that it is fully justified.

Advantages: Quality, very cheap printing.
Disadvantages: Just check in the store (a lot of devices do not take glossy photo paper) or then stop taking.

Evaluation 5
Advantages: The size is not more than the average MFP. Cheap printing (in Epson 70ml ink can, 10ml Canon canister). Excellent scan. With Photo Print, Pilot made excellent photo printing on universal glossy paper. Simple as two fingers. Ink registration is not required. Firmware update at software level.
Disadvantages: No USB cable included. Very noisy prints. Too scanty software, almost none, for more fine print and scan settings I had to look for third-party programs. There is no lower paper tray. Material performance MFP looks very cheap.
Comment: Bought exclusively for home. Fed up with left-handed SNPCs and CANON refillable inks, let's see how things are going to happen with this miracle. Satisfied with all requirements. For test prints, including glossy photo paper, I was very pleased.
