Comment: I do not know where other people buy printers, who respond badly, either they are schoolchildren, or someone needs divine unrealistic characteristics, or they are competitors. Everything is fine with me, it is quiet and fast, and it sends to print immediately (1-2 seconds), if for someone it is a lot - I have bad news for you

It just so happened that the printer was not printed for about 3 months (or so). And so, when they decided to print after the break, they found out that two colors are completely absent, one color - 50% of nozzles do not work, and black is not only that some of the nozzles do not work, so also there are blots on paper.
No cleaning problem naturally eliminated and it was decided to return the printer to the service, especially since there was only 2.5 months warranty.
I already had a negative experience with the services of other vendors, when devices returned to me were scuffed and scratched, with drop-down details and remaining defects (which should have been fixed).

Handing over the printer I saw 2 perspectives:
Negative: "The printer will be repaired, but the defect will either remain (maybe less explicitly), either the ink will drain, or the printer will become unsightly.
Positive: Due to the lack of spare parts, the printer will be kept for 45 days and I will require a new one on the ZZPP.

But suddenly, 30 days after the date, I receive an SMS message that the printer is ready. "It’s a negative perspective," I thought, and drove behind the printer.

What was my surprise when I removed the printer from the box exactly in the condition in which I handed it in (including the ink level).
But the most important thing was to print a test page to check the operation of the nozzles.

I got it, unpacked it, filled in the ink, pressed the button; the colors were pumped, I pressed the button, the wi-fi connected and everything was ready. Since the laptop is already printing, the tablets have not yet connected, but seeing the L355, I downloaded a couple of free programs epson. The quality of the photo on photo paper struck me first, then my wife and son. I don’t know who doesn’t like the pictures there, I don’t see any difference between the ones I gave to print for money and these, and this A4 paper is glossy Lomond, the photo from my daughter’s christening was just surprised, Sonya’s camera with interchangeable lenses also played an important role role in quality. Due to orig. CISS apparatus fully justifies its price. The quality of the print is not particularly satisfactory (the draft mode is unsightly, but very fast, in the standard noise is visible, and in high it prints well, but very slowly). It would seem that in terms of speed it strongly merges cartridge photo printers, but there is a non-advertised speed nuance in favor of this device. We turn on any cartridge photo printer, it is engaged in automatic cleaning of the print head, you will print several pages, again a long cleaning of the minute for two, and so constantly there are these permanent cleanings. Epsons with a built-in CISS do not suffer from this, in general they practically do not do automatic cleaning, every few days there is a maximum. So do not drain a huge amount of ink with these cleanings and save time. Sometimes nozzles disappear, but still it takes much less time and ink to eliminate them. If you take a cartridge printer plus a Chinese CISS - the printer will still think that there are cartridges in it and drain the ink with permanent cleaning, so the original CISS is the most economical.
Minus - a small absorber resource - is only enough for about 5 thousand printouts in standard high quality or about 11 thousand with an emphasis on draft quality. Further, either to change the absorber itself, removing the printer from the warranty, or to pay in the Epson service for replacing the absorber, since This consumable, warranty does not apply. Of all the current line of Epson with CISS, only the world's first photo printer with a built-in CISS has a good absorber, its resource is about 5 times longer.
Photos on the L355 did not print, because This is not a photo printer. for L355, ink comes with a degraded formula.
The device as a whole is worthy; do not believe negative reviews, putting the original CISS in a minus, since compilers of such reviews make money on Chinese CISS.

Comment: L355 was bought for home use. Built-in CISS requires only fill ink and monitor their level. No need to lay pipes, pierce native cartridges, blow and fill the entire system. In this case, the printer does everything by itself. The interval between unpacking the box and printing the first page is no more than 40 minutes, of which about 20 minutes the printer pumps ink itself. Paint saving is no longer necessary.

WiFi is configured automatically. I had no problems at all. By WiFi transmits information very quickly.

When turned on and work, it periodically makes strange sounds. Those. You can't call it quiet, but the cost of printing and the quality of prints is good.

Printing should always be set to maximum quality, then the pictures are more vivid.

I believe that this printer is perfect for a home where there are schoolchildren, students. Photos are still better to print in a photo lab, because print quality is better there, and the cost (paper + ink) is lower. This printer is great for coursework, schoolwork, handouts, color copying, etc.

Comment: Today, from the moment of unpacking the box to printing the first photos, a maximum of 40 minutes passed, during which time I removed all shipping tapes, read the instructions, filled in the ink, started the printer, waited until the ink sold on the highways (this is asked for about 20 minutes, really slightly faster), then installed wifi. Using the easy installation option chtoli. The meaning is that on the laptop it makes a WiFi point, remembering from the laptop your settings to the home point, then the printer joins the point on the laptop, takes settings from it, and voila, the printer is already connected to your home point. There is not a word about this in the manual, but the master program on the laptop explains everything well.
Print quality is good. I came up with old photographs (paper) from HP, but A4 Lomond for HP produces a quality of shit. I will try with another paper.
The printer as a whole is very like. Vidocq is really cheap. My HP for 3.5 before that looked more expensive than this one - for 8.
Printed on it and A4 and A5 (cut with scissors A4) and 10x15, normally eats any size.

I am very pleased with the quality of printing and copying. The speed is also good. IMHO, the advantages outweigh) They say that the price is high, but if you count how much it costs a normal MFP + CISS + ink + time + nerves, it turns out very profitable

2) About bringing to combat readiness. He poured ink, waited 20 minutes while he pumped it into the print head (PG), printed the PG test: everything is fine with the color part, there is no black. I cleaned the GHG, black appeared, but quite a few nozzles did not work. Once again cleared, there are only 8 inactive black nozzles - acceptable for printing documents. Began to print - 2 black nozzles were cleaned, 3 neighboring blue clogged. Sheets after 20-30 blue cleaned.The remaining 6 black nozzles still did not work, even after several more GHG cleanings. I thought of getting on the Internet and reading. It turned out that nozzles can be clogged not only with debris, but also with air bubbles. Then he cut down the printer and let it stand for a day without work. After switching on the test, the GHG test showed that all nozzles work)

3) For technical reasons, does not print without the top and left margins. Apparently PG does not reach the left edge, and the Japanese simply did not bother and cut out the seal without fields. The right and bottom margins are easily removed by setting the paper size, and with the left and top no settings helped. You can only contrive and make the paper was offset by 3-4 mm from the left and top. But it's all dancing with a tambourine. If it is important for you that the pictures are borderless - print them to any office.

4) Periodically, some nozzles stop typing or start to print crookedly. Perhaps the reason is that 2 cats live at home, and their wool flies even into the printer and sticks to the PG. The solution is simple: printing documents or cleaning GHGs + letting them stand idle

Advantages: compact, quiet, fast, very cheap printing - integrated CISS thing, bought spare tubes of paint, but apparently, they will be needed only after a couple of years. I was pleased with the firmware - I installed everything in 10 minutes and without any shamanism, now you can print from any computer on the network (the computers themselves are on the wired network, communicate with the printer via a wireless router) or phone.

Disadvantages: - there is no borderless printing (photos immediately go to the forest).
- there is no USB cable, it needs exactly 5 minutes when setting up a wireless network (the network name, password, etc. are transmitted to the printer via a cable). USB is not standard, but type B - if I didn’t have such a wire, I would have to run to the store.
- after all calibrations, the print quality barely falls to four, even with high print quality set. honestly, an old canon a decade ago prints better, with the exception of cartridges for 500 sheets of 1000 rubles.
- a sticker about the dangers of non-original ink on the half of the printer case looks poor and it is difficult to tear it off without a trace.
- the price of 8 thousand clearly compensates the company for the loss of profit on expensive cartridges. in epson in bulk more professional printers at a price 2 times lower. however, the cost of printing 7 kopecks per sheet very quickly compensates for this shortcoming.
- strip! 20-30 printed color documents (scans of magazine pages) in a row and there are continuous bands. need to take a break after every 10-15 printed pages. Of course, ink is not a pity for cleaning, but it is very inconvenient.
- thick paper lomond takes only 1 time out of 10 - in other cases, scrolls it and says that the paper is jammed or inserted incorrectly.

Comment: good printer for penny printing of documents. It is not suitable for printing photos - it does not print without borders, and the print quality is good only for documents. I don’t regret buying a bit - it’s still better to print photos in a photo book so that they don’t fade, but documents can be printed without any consideration of the cost at all. for streaming printing, the printer is not suitable - it starts to strip already after 20-30 in a row printed color documents. There are enough shortcomings, but still a good printer, in my opinion.
