Focal Listen Wireless

Advantages: Sound! First of all, I chose this parameter. This is something ... compared with Sony WH-1000XM2 and Bose Quietcomfort 35 II. After Focal Listen, Wireless didn’t want to wear them anymore. Passive insulation is great: you can’t hear anything on the street, but the train crashes through the subway. When folded, they take up little space and fold into a handbag from a kit.

Disadvantages: I do not like the squeak when adjusting the volume, but these are trifles.

Comment: They are my 4th day! And I am delighted. In its price range, this is the best of wireless headphones. In Russia, they are not very popular, as I understand it. But I advise you to pay attention to them!

- I didn’t quite like the implementation of the control buttons on the cups; at first, blindly, you don’t always get to the required button
- Due to the somewhat reduced size for full-size headphones, there may be problems with the fit of people with large heads

Comment: I took exactly Focal Listen Wireless after listening. I liked the neutral balanced (enough bass) sound with aptX connection. With a wired connection, the sound will largely depend on the source.
In general, the headphones really liked their versatility and high sound quality. Honestly, I didn’t expect this from a wireless connection using only the aptX protocol (aptX HD and LDAC are missing).
FLW have a very long range over a Bluetooth connection - officially 15 meters. In reality, much more. At the same time the connection is stable, there are no breaks and pauses when playing music. In a small apartment you can walk with them everywhere. In the open space you can quietly listen to music and at 20 meters.
With a wired connection, the resistance is only 32 Ohms, which allows you to use headphones with almost any source.

Headphones highly recommend. But before buying it is advisable to listen and check the fit on the head.

Comment: In general, I am pleased as an elephant. The sound is amazing, a little lacking the lower classes, but the top and middle are clear, transparent and with a large margin. Power enough. In the store I listened to many different models of headphones of famous brands. After the Focal, I didn’t even want to put on and listen to the rest, even models are 5-15 more expensive.
There are no special complaints about the control buttons, except a bit unusual arrangement and not very responsive.But there are practically no delays after pressing.
By the way, the sound delay paired with samsung note 5 is minimal, you can watch videos on youtube without any problems. I have a small complaint about the quality of communication via bluetooth, sometimes when you turn your head, the sound may stop for a few milliseconds, but it recovers instantly, despite the fact that the phone is in the front right jeans pocket, and the electronic filling of the headphones is on the right.
The quality of the microphone and the overall headset is excellent, the interlocutor does not even suspect that you are talking in headphones. The battery keeps well, after fully charging, they hold their ears for a week while listening for 2-3 hours a day. Very convenient (although someone may not like it) the function of turning off bluetooth stuffing when connecting the wire to the headphones. Not quite liked the voice alerts action in the headphones, the voice of some annoying. And, I do not understand why, there is no notification of disconnection from the device. That is, there is a notification about the connection, and if the connection is lost, you will not understand this if you have not listened to anything.
They sit comfortably on the head, do not dangle and do not fly off when turning / bending the head.
The ear cushions are soft, with a memory effect, you can wear for a long time. The headband silently presses on the top of the head, but you can get used to it + it is pressed a little over time, taking the shape of the head. According to the materials of the case everything is simple here, the plastic is dull and the plastic is glossy. There is no metal in the construction, but matte plastic is very flexible and durable. Gloss gets dirty with fingers strongly, every evening I wipe with microfiber.
In general, I advise you to look at and listen to them.

Advantages: Sound, but you need to pick up the sound source. The tablets from Sony and Apple gave a great sound, the ZTE Nubia smartphone too, but the Sony NWZ-A17 player with its aptx was weak. Connected in flight, excellent range.

Disadvantages: The largest and the only - the control buttons are terrible. To the touch are hard and tight.

Comment: You take it in your hands and you immediately see the quality thing from quality materials. Because of the excellent detail of the sound, you will have to listen to the entire music library.

Advantages: 1. The sound is very good, deep. They respond well to the equalizer, though, and with it turned off it sounds very nice. Frequencies reproduce everything perfectly, for the sake of experiment, I tried to overload, on the "bottom": they open well, but not "choke", using Beats Audio
2. As for wearing comfort, I cannot say more in detail, I don’t wear it for long, but they sit perfectly, the buttons are made qualitatively and are conveniently located.
3-4. Reliability and build quality, while I can not evaluate (I do not use it for a long time), but, according to sensations, there are no complaints.
5. Great insulation.

Disadvantages: 1. No turning 90 degrees.
2. There is no information on the maximum charging current anywhere. (s / y is not included in the package, and charging from a PC is not always convenient, I charge it with a third-party network s / y).
3. The built-in amplifier is rather weak (there is no stock, you need to put the maximum in the subway).
4. The headband, rather soft, easily bends, both on expansion, and on narrowing (it is necessary to remove or put on incorrectly, stretch, starts to swing).
5. The ear cushions are made of a fairly soft material (possibly soft and gives good sound insulation, but personally I would like to be harder).

Comment: I chose it for listening via bluetooth (with a wire, the sound quality should be better, but so far there was no need), measured it, re-listened to different models from different manufacturers, these pleased immediately. I listen with pleasure. Recommend.
