3. Something I do not understand the principle of operation and display in the priority of the diaphragm. If you put the control from the carcass - something jumps value. In the dark (relative) is also not displayed.

Comment: I downloaded and installed the rav-developer from the site (there is no disk in the kit) ...well-known trimmed snaps gave at least no better color than from the camera, which, on the one hand, pleases (good chamber), on the other slightly discourages ... In general, the impression that the favorite snare (even about 6.0.20) does not do well with cameras of the latest releases (nikon 7100, the mentioned Panasonic, now here fudzh).
In general, the camera fully justifies the expectations, taking into account some corporate nuances (there is a corporate color after all!) And a slightly overpriced price (well, this, again, is the general policy of Fuji and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation with its support of a stable ruble exchange rate).

Advantages: + A completely different approach to camera control. To get the classic modes, you need to combine the settings on the shutter mode dial and the items in the menu. Most buttons are customizable, the drive drive (type of shooting) is also half customizable. As a result, the two most popular modes A and M are fully deployed on two control dials (+ iso on the front wheel), analog control turned out to be incredibly convenient, in the process of shooting there is no need to go into the menu.
The whale lens (16-50) deserves a separate review, but I'm lazy. Good glass. Wide angle, high sharpness (ringing at f / 5.6), XA missing. In the dark, focusing smears, especially at the far end. Also at the far end are falling colors and contrast. As a regular landscape painter (16-23) is ideal.

Disadvantages: - Found a bug when working with the Sony SDHC UHC1 card. When viewing the RAW + F footage on some frames, "Read Error" crawls out. After this error, when viewed from a computer, jpeg turned out to be littered (10-15% gray bar), but raf was not read by CameraRAW. I did not track the prerequisites, it appears spontaneously, then on one frame, then on another. Error is noticed only on frames RAW + F.
- When using an electronic shutter, the central contact on the shoe does not close, i.e. flash does not fire. Why and why the developers made this software restriction incomprehensible.
- Shumodav overly aggressive. With iso6400 in the meaning of NR +2 - it makes people in the frame - anime heroes. At 0 - better, but still there is software and a significant drop in sharpness. Optimally, but not ideally -2, even with this value there is practically no microcontrast. Ideally sharp frame with iso above 1600 on this camera is not obtained. Perhaps in the future they will release a new firmware with more gentle noise-reducing algorithms. So far, only NR -2, always.

Comment: ± Noise is on all iso values, but they are mostly brightness. At 6400 noise is certainly obvious, but its structure is similar to film grain. Above is no longer a fountain, but with processing it is possible to draw something out of them. I shot at night on iso25600 - a couple of filters, b / w, resize and frame can be safely in the album. At the same time, there is a low microcontrast on all iso, which, together with the noise level, can significantly blur the image.
± EVI was pleased with the lack of brakes and high resolution, of course, interference with poor lighting is large, but you quickly get used to them and they do not interfere with focusing. But the size, or rather a small increase in EVI and its small window do not allow to relax the eye.
± The body is assembled tightly, the materials (semi-metal alloy / plastic / rubber) are quite pleasant and judging by the forums wear-resistant. But all the same there is a feeling of "toys". When I saw the camera, I expected to feel the weight and coldness of the 70-year rangefinder, and I had a warm, airy plastic with a “proud” Made in Taiwan on the cover ... Ergonomics of the case is designed only for shooting with two hands and wearing a camera on a neck strap. Leather poluchimol (China, thank you) significantly improved the grip and allowed the use of a hand strap.

This camera is hardly suitable for reportage photography or hunting photos. Features of the X-Trans matrix, high working iso and beautiful noises, but a significant loss of microcontrast. It is this balance between the two characteristics of the matrix - this is the "trick" Fujifilm.
In general, I am satisfied with the camera as an artistic tool, using it with ancient Japanese optics, in this alliance the matrix shows itself in all its glory. X-t10 fully justifies its marketing position "for enthusiast enthusiasts".

Comment: I have been interested in photography for a long time, about twenty years old, but without fanaticism. He used the last years 10 Nikon, D60-300-3100-7000-3300-7100. The lenses have tried almost everything available to me (20-50 sput), except for the specialized and exotic: Sigma, Tamron, and Nikon pieces of 5-7 each. I searched for the long and unsuccessful thing for me the most important thing: a detailed picture of natural colors immediately from the camera, without climbing the menu 15 minutes before each photo. I bought for trial everything that appeared on sale up to 50 sput, SLRs, compacts, without a difference, all without result. Two weeks ago I bought Fujik XT10 / 18-55 and realized that the search was over, I got what I was looking for so long. The picture is excellent, fully compliant.

Do not listen to anyone if you do not want problems in the form of processing in editors (but then you can buy any foxy where Rava is good), if you need a cool thing that is pleasant to own and which will ALWAYS give a good result, buy X-T10. And still, if without processing, then a dozen will be given to any other fujik, except for X-T1, here they have the same picture.

Comment: It all started with the fact that in the summer I bought fujifilm x-a2. Bought just like that, on the basis of a modest budget, a camera for family and travel. In this case, I had a Nikon D7100 with a fleet of optics, as the main camera for work. For 10 years he worked only on Nikon, D50, D300 and D7100. Planned to buy a full frame, but now I say goodbye Nikon. X-A2 made me a staunch fan of Fuji. And now I bought the X-T10 for work. This camera provides images much better than amateur (semi-professional) DSLRs. ISO workers up to 6400, nice clear picture with incredible colors. In the X-T10, everything is very convenient. Management thought out to the smallest detail. Screen, viewfinder pleasing to the eye. The video is also quite decent, although I do not need it. The AF focus is accurate and fast. Advantages: Zenith design, compactness compared to the SLR, there is a good viewfinder, high-quality body materials (although plastic by touch, but they write magnesium). Decent sharpness and color reproduction, flexible settings for any of the 6 hot buttons. Decent noise level at ISO 6400. Batteries for the shooting day are enough. Control from the phone is quite convenient. The flash hides in the enclosure.

Disadvantages: The price could be lower by 10-30%, the low speed of switching the display to the viewfinder, the lack of HDR mode and night mode, not the fastest focus (compared to Sony, Panas, olikami). Significant noise above Iso 6400 (in fact, ISO12800 and 51200 are not needed) The increase in viewing with the wheel is inconvenient (the X20 had buttons).
In comparison with competitors, there is no touch screen and video shooting is rather weak. Simplified the program switching disk, removed the scrolling wheel of images, entangled and complicated the ergonomics of mode selection compared to the ideal one in X20. The screen in the self mode does not recline.

And the old man nikon d600 is still better in resolution and iso (at 1.5-2 steps = although this is a great achievement)! Yeah against physical. matrix size is no arguing !!! But this is what! Real tar was ahead. I have been a fujivod for more than a year and all this time, as a cat from valerian, was under the impression of an old he1. I didn’t hold back and compared them to selling he1. What was my surprise when I did not find a difference in the matrices of 1 and 2 generations, i.e. he1 and xt10 !!! The latter only slightly better conveyed the color of a small piece of the photo! The grasp of the camera is for women's hands, but add. the grip decides everything and almost does not increase the size and weight.

Comment: And yet the camera turned out good. Frankly speaking, there are few competitors in this segment, and most likely he1, he2, etc. AF, display, viewfinder, switch to full automatic for friends, menus, controls, shutter, etc. make it better and more convenient than he1. But the difference in quality you almost do not feel (unless of course you do not remove children and animals) With the matrix, marketers have cheated us! For this reason, the question of the transition from FF and he1 to xt10 is left open!

* good electronic viewfinder. It works in the bright sun and in the dark - it is fast enough with frame-by-frame shooting to navigate comfortably only through it.
* convenient folding screen
* good speed of the device as a whole, including focusing speed
* comfortable dimensions and low weight of the camera body and lenses
* convenient small on-camera flash in the kit - helps out in traveling conditions (not a panacea, but if you urgently need to highlight hard shadows in the sun - will do)
* not bad video - quite suitable for home collection

Disadvantages: * The electronic viewfinder is inconvenient to use with glasses - it is impossible to cling to the viewfinder as comfortable as it was on the 5DMII. There is a diopter adjustment, but there is a feeling that its range is not suitable for everyone - check before buying or adjust
* The electronic viewfinder (and the camera as a whole) hangs up during continuous shooting - it freezes the last frame until it clears the buffer to some level of its work (i.e., some frames are not saved from the buffer to the card). With unaccustomed, through the viewfinder, with a blinked second eye, you will not immediately understand that the model / children have already left the frame. It is impossible to eliminate, you can improve the situation by purchasing a super-fast card or switching to JPEG - reduce the freezing time of the camera.
* Sleep / wake-up mode is sometimes buggy (it does not turn on the camera, you risk losing the frame while the camera wakes up). It is safer to turn off the camera yourself. The camera turns on quickly enough.
* The praised hand controls often get lost when folding and pulling out of the bag due to the absence of rigid fixation (I often get confused - the shooting mode is on the left and the exposure compensation is on the right). Practice the habit of looking at the shooters before taking pictures (I, for three months of use, did not bring the check to automaticity).

Comment: From Fuji, I used before X-M1 (1.5 years). The device is all arranged, except for the brakes of the system and the lack of a viewfinder.The X-T10 was an ideal choice for me - a folding screen, an electronic viewfinder, and an increased speed of operation compared to the X-M1 for reasonable money (well, reasonable among Fuji).
I did not regret the transition, the X-T10 is what I need now.
About speed - it feels the same as 5DMII. The X-M1 didn't suit me for speed, the X-T10 was fine for me.
During the transition, I also changed the whale lens from the XC 16-50 to 18-55 / f2.8-4. If the change of the carcass X-M1 to X-T10 was for me an unambiguous success, then the change of the whale lens - the benefits are not so unequivocal. Yes, 18-55 is more high-aperture, but I did not feel any obvious “wow” from the lens.
I am not complaining about the battery. I take about 600-700 shots (RAW + JPEG) per day on vacation. Not yet during the day did not end (if charged in the morning was). Maybe this is because I always turn off the camera myself and do not wear it (almost) in sleep mode. However, the second battery is always with you just in case.

And, if you like to shoot in series (for example, children) - then know that the device loves fast, very fast SD cards. This is a fee for the trimmed buffer and simplification of the device. Do not spare money for SD or shoot in JPG (since it’s good with Fuji)

Comment: I already more than three years ago switched from a DSLR to Fujifilm and last year I looked after the device to replace the beloved X-Pro1. Last year there was an opportunity to test the X-T1 for several days, but love did not happen - with my mind I understood that the device was faster, more comfortable, but the difference was not so significant as to pay for such a new camera: it was not warm "lamp-like" Proshki1, new krutilki expanded opportunities, but at the same time some of them did not have enough rigid fixation, well, the price.
But here came x10, which is almost the same, but almost twice cheaper. And I can say - yes, this is a very successful model. It is smaller and more compact XPro1, hands need to get used to. Someone helps add. grip, I’m got enough of a leather half-body, which increases the right side of the device, thanks to which the hand holds it more confidently and tightly. In the new polubodi, they finally solved the problem with the battery and memory card compartment, now they can be obtained without removing the case.
For me personally, the biggest difference after Hpro1 is focusing speed, getting into focus. Subjectively, the shooting speed increased five times. The second huge plus is an inclined screen, it is such a pleasure to shoot looking from top to bottom. And this is the reason why I did not buy x100t, I’m waiting for the version of the weave in which they will make an inclined screen.
A completely magical preset Classic Chrome, I missed it so much on the Hpro1, the cunning marketers didn’t add it to the firmware of the first Fujé mirrorless.
And yes, all these 3+ years were very rarely filmed in Raw, so fujje jpeg is good.
But I still haven’t succeeded in making my iPhone with Wi-Fi, and there were no such problems with x1.
To summarize: if you are thinking about trying Fuji mirrorless cameras, this is the best model on the market, the X-T1 in silver graphite is the best for me, but the price is almost twice as high, and the difference is not significant for this money ...

Disadvantages: The main disadvantage is the complete absence of ergonomics. No, I myself consciously wanted just such a design, and it was from this series. I did not want ordinary shoes, which are everywhere the sea. I wanted something like that.
Now I risk dislocating or overloading my right arm.
Because taking the camera is uncomfortable. Or it is necessary to consciously keep in mind, for what it is to grab it, and not mechanically. Because with the grip even with small handles, when taking the camera in hand, all the possible buttons click at once. The grasping pipka on the right is very conditional.

Then it greatly outweighs the whale lens. Inconvenient. The camera itself is small and light, but this constant imbalance also loads the hands. That is, a few hours from the hands of fotkat - hands definitely fall off. I understand that the samadura, but just do not expect there is no ergonomics at all.

Further, here is this perversion with a bunch of small, able to seize and break, the details they call a rotating screen? What for it was necessary to come up with such a convenient structure, it was possible to make just rotating from the side by 360 degrees. And that's all. Want - turned and closed at all, Want - unfolded.

In general, I can not understand why my Panasonic Lumix G2 five years ago and was completely turning and touch! the screen is focused on the screen and at a price two times less, and here at this price they cannot do it. And exalted: "Oh, turning the screen!". Nifiga like.

The lack of touch focus and the need to dig in the buttons and the menu is annoying. And most importantly - does not give you something to remove quickly.

It is clear that on a tripod in the studio it does not care, but in the forest for a walk it matters.

With the viewfinder somehow too much love has not yet developed. As I did not set it up, but my eyes after him fall out with terrible force, and with a Panasonic I could use it for hours without straining.
Well, crawling face on the screen when using the viewfinder - it also does not add joy.

Comment: I'm not saying that the camera is bad. I rummaged through the entire Internet and specifically led to "warm lamp colors" instead of buying something from a pile of decent but standard DSLRs and mirrorless mirrors.

I really hope that this “suffering” will pay for itself in another part of the application of this camera. Which I still have to learn closer. I'd like to hope that this “ah!” Is hiding there, for which it is not a pity to pay with some inconveniences :))

But I also began to respect my old Panasonic. Which many years ago in terms of software and ergonomics was ogogo.

But I do not take video on the camera, and I compensate for the lack of stabilization with high-speed shooting, setting the camera itself + a tripod.
