The problem is: they do not work together. Everything starts, turns, lights up but does not work. The monitor is silent, the indicators on the keyboard are off, the cooler on the card is full.
On the forums (both ours and not so) the solution is one - my mother, she is cheaper.

Here is how this problem is solved (7 hours of dancing with a tambourine and a bunch of mother + cards I have earned):
In mother's BIOS, the PCI-e GEN slot parameter in which the vidyah is stuck must be changed from auto mode to 2.0. Everything will work

Advantages: Fast, good overclocking, the picture does not twitch like on 256 bit cards!

Disadvantages: Noisy at high speeds

Comment: It takes 1450 MHz and 8000 in memory calmly, 1505 also works, but you have to choose voltage, space, much better than 1070. I think 1080 will be better on water.

Advantages: Top graphics card with full minced meat. Power in the flesh.

Disadvantages: not

Comment: Awesome performance. Silent. Great chase. At the price of rubles / FPS is not the best option (a bunch of 2 GTX 970 in SLI will be cheaper and more powerful), but as one video card in the system it is number 1. Money is not wasted.

Comment: Powerful graphics card. For example, "The Witcher. Wild Hunt" in 4K resolution at maximum settings (only anti-aliasing is disabled, unnecessary at 4K) goes to comfortable FPS (did not measure, but about 40, as far as I can tell). However, the video card is very hot at the same time - up to 85 degrees in the Corsair Carbide Series 200R with regular fans. It is below the critical temperature (95-100), but really hot.And something simpler, like "Heroes of the storm" or "Mortal Kombat X" at the maximum settings in 4K, gives clearly no less than 60 FPS and warms the video card to a comfortable 70-72 degrees in the same conditions.

Advantages: I chose the card from Gigabyte first because of the cooling system. The massive copper base rests not only on the processor, but also on memory and power. Factory overclocking is quite decent. In boost it rises to almost 1400, while the card heats up to a maximum of 75 degrees. Up to 60 degrees it is not audible at all. The second reason - there are ALL kinds of connectors, except for VGA naturally :)

Disadvantages: Native software OC_Guru buggy. It can “fall asleep” during work, not react to heat and forget that it is necessary to succumb to the speed of the fans. So, be careful and if in the fancy game you do not hear the noise of the fans, immediately "wake up" this Guru. Also, the program may refuse to start automatically with Windows. Similar progs from Asus and MSI do not have such problems at all.

Comment: In addition to the software, there is nothing to complain about. Card of your money is worth 100%.
Of course, you can not use OC_Guru, but all the “fashionable” cards of this series have one common drawback - for the sake of silence, the fans do not turn on until the card warms up to almost 70 degrees SIMPLE. And it warms up in 10 minutes, be sure. I don't know why the heck did that. Therefore, if you do not change the cards twice a year, then it is better to use this software and MAINLY switch on the manual mode and set the start of the fans from 20 degrees to 20%. In such a combination, the card in idle time, with office tasks and so on, will keep the temperature between 30 and 40 degrees, and the fans will spin between 800 and 1100 turns and you will not hear them.

Advantages: This is a terrific card!
There are no analogs at the moment, and before Pascal it is unlikely to be!
What pleased:
- Impeccable design! + 7 different playing highlights (I have a case with a window) it was funny!
- The card at maximum speeds shows from 60 to 120 FPS (depending on the game, of course), but GTA5 and The Witcher 3 draws 60!
- It was initially overclocked, rummaged in the bios - it also accelerated :)
- Very quiet cooling system, even listening, in the ear - 0dB :)
- Before this was 780, oh the earth and the sky! The quality of the picture is so perfect that it almost cried)))
- I also bought it for 49K, I got into a normal course!

Disadvantages: They are not! She is perfect!

The performance is of course at the level, the most powerful single-chip video card for today. In the same Middle-earth Shadow of Mordor, everything is ultra and ultra textures requiring 6 gig of video memory, the game goes to a stable 100 fps, to put it mildly, revealing.

Disadvantages: except that the size, with the installation of Zalman Plus suffered

Advantages: 1) an excellent cooling system: at low temperatures it is passive (the fans are standing, when they reach 65 degrees they start spinning); I can not say that noisy !!! At full load in my case, the card warmed up to a maximum of 72-73 degrees. stylish design;
2) high performance at the level of titanium and above: games like assassins creed unity, gta5, CoD AW, Far Cry4, Witcher 3, crysis3 go 60+ fps in full hd and maximum settings (albeit when you turn on DSR and some super smoothing on 8 or 16x fps fps drops to 30 - then you probably need to take the second one in the slide) to hold 60 frames.
3) high overclocking potential;
4) the presence of backplate and lights on the side;
5) own utility for monitoring and overclocking.

Disadvantages: If you strongly predicate:
1) the card is long, it is advisable to put in the case, designed for video cards with a length of at least 330 cm;
2) poor equipment: card, 2molex-8pin adapter, cd with software and everything :))) there is no free betman or other game.
3) the core frequency is 40-50 mhz lower at rest from the claimed 1190mhz
4) and of course the main drawback is the price against the background of the current economic situation: choosing between going to the sea or buying a card - as a result I took the card !!!
