Yes, all this will work a little worse than on the iPhone X, or Samsung Galaxy S9, but if you are a supporter of the fact that there is a PC and a console for games, and for a photo is a SLR, Honor 8X is a great choice.

Advantages: I chose between Xiaomi redmi note 5 and this model. I took in Euroset for 17990 rubles. Silicone case included, it's nice. Before that there were: sony acro S, sony Z2, asus zenfon 3 ze520kl (very beautiful design). Sony has great cameras, asus is a bit worse, everyone’s problems are bad autonomy.


I compare mainly with these models. So here are friends .. after all these models, for me the phone is just bomb-bombed. The screen is 6.5 inches .. I thought too big, but no .. I got used to it, the screen is frameless - bright, clear, it's very pleasant to use .. it is slightly bigger than the old sony Z2 with 5.2 inches. The camera is excellent (I use it often), before it was an asus with 16 megapixels and laser focusing, which in my opinion is worse. Quick focus, really liked it here.

1. Autonomy, just super .. especially after my previous models, which are half a day-day and the client has died). I can walk for almost 2 days without recharging .. while actively using Moscow car-sharing, various applications, navigator, internet .. I thought it would be worse than xiaomi redmi note 5 with a screen of 6 inches 4000 battery .. but everything is not very good here (considering that honor 6.5 inches and 3750 battery).

Disadvantages: Charging cord is not Type-C .. although for me it is not a minus all the same, because tablet and power bank with micro USB.

Comment: I used iPhones from friends, and I held other models in my hands: meizu, xiaomi (I also liked it very much when I chose .. I initially wanted it), huawei ... But my choice fell on honor. 3) It seems that the guys from Huawei have put in the kit a silicone case not so much out of the goodness of their soul, but rather out of pity - the phone is really slippery, it is very easy to drop it without a case;
4) The abundance of unnecessary settings that a normal person simply will not use. For example, color inversion or increased contrast of inscriptions, from which eyes just start to hurt;
5) In general, I initially looked for the Huawei Nova 2i because of the all-metal case, but alas, the store had only one (showcase) sample with a noticeable dent on the case, so I refused to buy it. In Honor 8x all the same glass - with difficulty, but reconciled.

The only thing that really upset me was that Huawei stopped putting on their SMS application, replacing it with a less functional Google one. As a result, I switched to Mood.
