* A large margin of safety for the modern device. The first week I used without a case, then I began to use a regular plastic bumper, so as not to cling to corners when getting out of my pockets. After seven months, there was not a single major scratch on the case, the bumper was badly scratched, but when the phone is on the table, only its edges are still visible, the appearance does not deteriorate. Alas, the other day, very unfortunately dropped the bottom metal edge exactly on the edge of a solid cat bowl standing on the floor, after which a large dent remained on the metal and the edge itself slightly slid off to the back cover between the USB port and the speaker. The performance of the device has not affected.

* Excellent performance and stability. Everything works very fast, including games of the GTA class. For all the time, the device has never hung up at all, once or twice the separate applications have hung up, but there has never been such that the device stops responding to commands. I used to think that this does not happen. Free memory is constantly around 3 gigabytes of 6, a good indicator.

* Superbly holding a charge, never got into a situation when I did not have enough battery. I use it to the fullest: music, bluetooth headphones, a fitness bracelet, streaming Internet radio, video, internet, reading, occasionally games. Withstands a cycle of at least 4 hours of the active screen. On weekends, works two days or more. For the night spent 3-4 percent. Regular fast charging can charge up to 80 percent of the battery, the rest will be slower.

* Excellent overall EMUI shell, after Samsung just loved it. Recently updated to Android 8, it has become even more convenient to use. Qualitatively translated into Russian.Few pre-installed garbage and useful mirror-like firmware. By default, there are many Google services, incl. keyboard.

* Chic fingerprint scanner, clearly and quickly works from any angle, is conveniently located.

Disadvantages: * I don’t really like the way the screen brightness is automatically adjusted, Samsung just liked it more. There I put on a car + minimum and it worked clearly, the screen all the time was a bit muffled. Here, if you put the auto-adjustment and set the level to be smaller manually, then it works somehow adaptively, constantly trying to make it brighter than we would like and it does not always respond quickly. But there is a filter of blue shades.

* Very small default font. To be honest, the screen is generally too small for me, I want at least 5.5 ”. And the font has to be done on a step more, which is why it can crawl out of the buttons somewhere in the applications.

* There are a couple of annoying minor inconveniences in the firmware. On Android 7, it was terribly freaking out when choosing a date and time without a “calendar” and “clock”, but in version 8 this has been fixed, done according to the Google pattern. Because of the "artificial intelligence", it sometimes happens that reminders in some unimportant applications do not come out, the system tries to optimize the time and order of their issuance. But most of these things are solved by properly setting exceptions for applications like "Ignore battery optimization" and "Allow background run". I perceive it as payment for the long battery life.

* Weak geolocation, I heard that Chinese smartphones sin with this. If Samsung recorded the entire history of locations very clearly with an accuracy of up to meters, as it should be on GLONASS, then Honor often skips fragments and makes up the path of individual straight lines that cut the path. Yes, and when you use a map, it often shows a very large radius and looks for a real location for a long time. But at the same time finds.

* Although the USB-C connector, but it is only implemented interface version 2.0. The speed of writing data from a PC for this reason is not as high as we would like, but it is not quite bad at all.

Comment: I took Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and 3 as a replacement, chose between Huawei and Xiaomi brands and did not lose. An excellent machine for the money, Samsung, Apple and Xiaomi with their "quality" and price policy for me now smoke aside.

When ordering, I received a Honor Band 3 fitness bracelet and excellent Huawei AM12 Plus earphones, which I use on the street in the winter instead of large Sony wireless ones. By the way, the built-in equalizer of the phone "Pure sound Histen" works with these headphones gorgeous, the sound is almost like a big one.

I even really liked the packaging, the feeling that it was a box of expensive perfumes, and not a telephone, I admired the whole evening that the Chinese brand was able to stand on one level with Apple in terms of design.

P.S. The photo clearly shows a dent after a fall and the accompanying deformation.

Advantages: 1. Awe-inspiring company - before buying any equipment, I’m sure to find out the history of the manufacturer of the products and make my personal opinion on certain items. Huawei meets my criteria for a reliable brand.

2. Design - a very attractive smartphone, - I chose the color “Icy Gray”, which is nice to watch and watch the overflow of light on the back side glass. It lies nicely in the hand because of its curves. The display in its size I was completely satisfied, although before the purchase I thought that it would be too small after 5.5 inches of the previous smartphone. The smartphone is assembled perfectly, - a monolith in all its glory.

3. Filling and memory - chose the maximum stuffing in terms of operational and internal memory, so as not to clog the head with care about a sudden lack of space. Yes, you can choose the minimum set and purchase a USB flash drive, but, practically, this is what comes out at a price, plus - zadarok with throwing back and forth applications and the like.

Native EMUI shell - everything flies, there are no brakes. Surely, there are other smartphones that work a fraction of a second faster, but who among us will notice this in practice?

A separate huge plus is the button of the fingerprint scanner: it works at lightning speed, did not expect such a speed of response. Another plus of the buttons is the ability to configure it with one for all operations (return, work screen, recent tasks and Google launch) and disable the other two navigation buttons. For me personally, this option is very convenient. The third plus of the fingerprint scanner is that it is not mechanical and there will be nothing to creak, play, and the like, like in the past smartphone of another company.

4. Of course - photo-opportunities: a variety of modes, the ability to shoot in RAW, manual mode - for fans to control the parameters of the photo (ISO, shutter speed, exposure metering, white balance).

Video capabilities are also excellent (there is no optical stabilization, there is a digital one that copes well with the bubbling).

Naturally, I judge the camera in the key of the capabilities of smartphones, no more - and everything suits me here!

Disadvantages: 1. As an ascetic in all walks of life, I was embarrassed by a number of pre-installed applications (especially from Google), which cannot be completely removed from the smartphone. However, in the settings you can turn them off and they will disappear out of sight from the display.

At the moment, no obvious cons for myself not noticed.

Comment: So. After long and painstaking comparisons of smartphones in a certain price segment, the balance was outweighed by Honor 9 6/128 GB (in the Huawei official store, the model is signed as "Honor 9 Premium"). This is the first experience of using a Huawei smartphone. I switched to the product of this brand after the Meizu M5 Note - I wanted a better camera (a head taller, as it turned out), more memory, more speed, and, yes, I just wanted to please myself with a new purchase.

I decided to make a purchase in the official online store Huawei for two reasons:

1. How does the store official, - my heart warmer from this.

2. A very nice bonus in the form of an external battery of 10 000 mAh and a selfie stick - a tripod from Huawei. In other stores I would buy a smartphone at exactly the same price, but without these two bonuses, the benefit is obvious.

The smartphone was delivered by courier service of express delivery UPS for three days from Moscow to Cherepovets - on Friday evening, February 23, he placed an order, and on Wednesday, February 28 (Saturday and Sunday are not working days in the company) he arrived in my hands.

Everything came well packed, there are no comments.

The overall result of my narration: for 27 990 rubles I received an excellent smartphone, coping with all its tasks, a 10,000 mAh external battery and a selfie stick - a tripod.

Review wrote with the understanding that there is nowhere and never ideal, and you can always be dissatisfied with something. So in this case - for its price, the smartphone completely suits me, there is absolutely no disappointment.

Now, the main differences in the phones, I think - in the camera. Otherwise, plus or minus, all is good, it’s a matter of taste, what to choose.

Advantages: The device is very well balanced in terms of parameters and price. Exactly so much money for such a return is not a pity.
Gluten-free as iron and firmware - for 4 months, no complaints.
Very pleasant in the hands and eyes.
Relatively small size - as a plus for those who love small devices ... For more fans, this is an obvious disadvantage.
A good camera - fairly smooth across the field in sharpness pictures. The colors are really a little up in the direction - brighter.

Disadvantages: Slippery in the hands - it is better to wear a case and reduce the beauty :(

Comment: I bought my daughter 11 years old on the DR. She managed not to turn him into dust in four months - this already says a lot about his strength and build quality.
The device is ideal for surfing, instant messengers, photos and video and not too heavy games.

Advantages: Beautifully reflects the light, a lot of memory, does not slow down, nfc works with android pay and qiwi wallet. The fingerprint scanner on the front panel works quickly and flawlessly. Batteries with geolocation enabled and data transfer in 4g with two sim cards last an average of 5-6 hours of screen operation.

Disadvantages: Very marching, I would say super marching, if worn without a cover and glass / film, it stains for half an hour so that you need to wipe it with a cloth. Automatic camera settings in the dark are a little crooked, if you do everything in auto mode, you need to take photos two or three times. It’s almost impossible to find charging and cable in colors similar to the blue version (I consider only charging with huawei charge, qc 2.0, qc 3.0). It is not possible to use it in winter, it cools very quickly

Comment: The problem with the brand of the rear window can be solved by buying a transparent case. If you use actively with social networks and messengers, then the charge is barely enough for one working day with the road. In general, I am satisfied, I have been using it since mid-December 2017

Advantages: Very smart phone. I play a lot of mobile games - it loads quickly, never slowed down, even when many applications are open.
I personally have enough memory with my head - I download movies, music, a bunch of games.
I use PayPass - very convenient. Fingerprints recognizes unmistakably.
From the native charging it takes literally half an hour. Keeps charge well too. If you actively use it, it sits down for a day, and it can keep it for 4 days.
Audibility is excellent, there are no problems.
Conveniently, the "back" and "open windows" buttons do not occupy the screen, but are located below. With the bottom central button mowed under the iPhone, but convenient))
The network is mobile and Wifi catches perfectly, there are no problems.

Disadvantages: - fingerprints remain instantly. And so little remains of the vaunted glass case of beauty.
- if you do not wear a plastic case - the phone is slippery. Of course, it does not slip out of the hands, but if you put it on a slightly sloping smooth surface, it slips and falls - carefully!
Without a case, the phone is very beautiful, and in the case it immediately looks cheap. Although it depends on what kind of case ..
- GPS sometimes makes mistakes, does not immediately find. I use the application for running, and so - the track does not always write correctly, although my previous antediluvian Huawei P6 had no such problems.
- too big for a girl, in the jeans pocket just does not fit, but the screen is large and clear

Comment: I bought in September on the official website of Huawei for 30k, a little expensive, but the phone is cool. Especially compared to my old Huawei P6 - it just flies! For me, the main thing is the speed of work and performance, a large screen.
He takes good pictures, both in front and in the back, but I am afraid that the glass on the cameras will get scratched and the quality will be worse, you need to handle it carefully.
