Comments about HouseFit HB-8191HP

Evaluation 4
Advantages: Folding
Disadvantages: Poor quality metal
Comment: An ordinary simulator performs its function. Phys loading so-so. For the price as a regular bike, only it is not clear why. Metal is so-so, I think for a year of active use there something will fall off. So far, only a strange crackling sound is heard after 5 minutes, but it does not affect anything.
The main disadvantage is the display, of course it is meager and not informative, but the main thing is that it does not work. Those. there is no off button on it, the batteries last for two days and with this it is a monochrome LCD, something is obviously wrong with it. Plus, the wires at the display are short.

Advantages: The main advantage - folding, low weight and price. No problem moving around the apartment to any place of training.
Disadvantages: Indeed, the load is weak, there is only the last level. On the panel you can see only one of the parameters of the workout. To select the output information (time, speed, distance, calories, pulse), switch the button. There is a slight backlash seat.
Comment: The problem of the load decided to increase the training time.
Slightly leaning, the son on the first day broke off the monitor. Sooner or later, the panel will tear off all users of this model)
I decided to fasten the panel plate with two holes. On the panel there are places for tightening the screws (apparently placed on another model by fastening). Sit comfortably, perhaps dependent on height. Overall, satisfied with the purchase, thanks for the early reviews.

Advantages: Folding, cheap. The quality is normal, for its price - quite.
Magnetic braking system allows you to reduce the total weight of the simulator to 14 kg while maintaining a decent load. Do not believe someone who says that there is not enough load, this person did not turn the pedal for more than 5 minutes!
Disadvantages: The fixed steering wheel is raised high. Wrong seatpost angle. (the pedals are much in front of the saddle) Requires some work!
Comment: All photos on the Internet were taken from this angle, where the main drawback is not noticeable: the seatpost angle in the unfolded state is ~ 60 degrees. (for bicycles and normal simulators 71-73, at least for mountain bikes - 65). Who does not understand what it is about - the pedals are not "under you", but much ahead! Those. the saddle is piled back and the position is not like a regular bike, but like a stool with pedals carried forward. In this case, the steering wheel, which should be at the level of the saddle, is great higher and is not adjustable. In a word, the position for training is not like a bicycle, but like a motor bike of the Harley type. In this position, you can sweat quickly, but to achieve a normal workout - no. I tried to put gaskets under the backstop (transfer from position "x" to "X") - it helps to align the saddle a little, but at the same time the steering wheel becomes very close and high. There is another option - to enclose a “step” under the rear foot with a height of 20-25 centimeters, but in a normal apartment this is not serious. Verdict: It is necessary to re-center the center hole under the axle and turn the steering wheel with the alteration of the computer mount. Those who have a drill, a screwdriver, and the level of experience in the form of a pair of broken fingers - such an alteration will not be difficult. True, in this case it will almost not take shape. And to whom it is easy to “turn the pedals”, for such money - it is possible that way :)

Evaluation 3
Advantages: Low price. Easy to use. Compact storage.
Disadvantages: Unreliable fastening "dashboard". Backlash in various fastening connections. Pulsometer in half of the cases lowers the pulse.
Comment: Twisting the pedals for an hour at the last, eighth level with an average speed of 25 km / h is enough to sweat and have fun. :)

Advantages: folding
relatively cheap
easy to assemble
Disadvantages: workmanship is worthy of the sky: backlash of the saddle, a half-time heart rate monitor (can not always "catch" the pulse), a strange measurement of calories burned, as it is measured regardless of the effort on the pedals.
Comment: in general, quite a suitable construction for a beginner. The effort is rather weak, the assembly is frankly careless, but for aerobic exercise, there is not much that is needed.
personally for myself soon I will take that thread with great effort.
