The phone is very smart OSes flying, applications load almost instantly, switching between them happens very quickly. Before buying, I read a lot of reviews, in which some people unflatteringly spoke about the EMUI shell, was afraid that I would not like it, it would not work, but when I started using this phone all fears have vanished, as this is the best shell so far from what I have seen (for android). There are all kinds of chips in it, like for example: face recognition (it works very quickly, even in conditions of insufficient visibility and); eye protection mode; color temperature adjustment; the mode of setting the sound in the headphones and much more.
The front camera is great, it makes bomb shots! The main module is also not worse, there are noises in the dark, but with good lighting you get very cool photos. For cameras, there is a lot of settings (pro mode), due to the dual main module, you can make a bokeh effect.
The sound is decent, there is a lack of low frequencies, but one speaker is quite enough in everyday life (for calls, notifications, etc.). In headphones, the sound is good (just not for those that come with it), you can adjust the equalizer for yourself.
The network keeps excellent, 4G signal sure.
The battery is pretty good, but it could have been better.After the first charge up to 100%, the first 2.5 hours did not let the phone out of my hands, downloaded applications over the mobile network, listened to music in the VC, turned the pages on the Internet, ran various attachments, during this time the phone sat down only 10%, then with moderate use (calls, internet, light applications) lived a day and a half, than I basically satisfied.
The phone is great and worth the money!

And the device with normal use will live for a day, and in standby mode up to a week (checked).
Cameras. separate topic. They are good, really good, even in auto mode. If someone buys a phone to take professional photos, then it is better to buy a professional photo appr. Megapixels do not solve the problem, nobody has canceled the luminosity (good lens).

Comment: I was looking for a phone with a large screen, with minimal dimensions and weight, long-playing, with a modern volume of operational and built-in memory, high-quality camera, reliable GPS, preferably with NFC.
I have long trusted Huawei products, but somehow it didn’t work out with xiaomi. I immediately liked the phone according to its characteristics, but I would like the same, but in all-metal, and better titanium case. Glass is scary to drop, break in your pocket and get tired of wiping fingerprints (but they are easily erased in this phone). I would like to record payments to Troika, but even before the purchase I found out that he doesn’t know how to do that, NFC is curtailed, but at least the android pay is pulling.
Now impressions of use. The screen is good, large, but it may be too elongated vertically, but the narrow / tall phone is comfortable in the hand and at the ear. The interface does not hang. Audibility is excellent, better than the old phone. Camera for my needs with my head - click on children at the matinee, share impressions from a vacation. GPS did not disappoint. Satellites are caught quickly, the navigator does not lose the road and does not jump, after a series of sharp turns does not tupit. Apparently, in addition to high-quality GPS, compasses, gyros, halls help. I download offline maps to internal memory, there is enough space. And I twist music / video with a 64GB card. Fingerprint unlocking works fine. Unlocking in the face works at different angles, in glasses and without glasses, before and after the barber shop, even straining, if it does not work on any person. But the wife does not work :). The battery, though not the most capacious, but the flow rate is well optimized. With moderate use lasts 2-3 days. Glassiness does not please me, but I ordered an already opaque cover on the case and a matte film on the screen, until they arrived.

Advantages: So, I have been using P20 Lite for about a week now and I can say that I am satisfied. It satisfies all the criteria that I presented to my new phone (they can be seen in the commentary on the review). But, probably, it is still too early to single out specific merits because little time has passed since the acquisition.However, I will highlight some:
- availability of NFC;
- A wonderful fingerprint scanner. Reads in a split second, seriously. Very sensitive;
- the presence of any funny features in the kind of unlocking on the face scan, "smart" notifications that hide if the phone does not recognize the owner, etc. So it turned out that I am a fan of such things. Not because I'm afraid that someone left will read my messages or use the phone. I'm interested in these technologies. Just nice that they are. Considering that the cost of the phone is up to 20 thousand.
- excellent front camera. Although I'm not a fan of selfie, but the camera was pleased. I read that it does not suit someone. I think it just needs to be configured. And so I liked everything.
- screen. Juicy, bright, nice looking. It is convenient to read books from it. I didn’t ripen to buy an e-book, because I’m reading from my phone No discomfort when reading. At first I was confused by the diagonal 5.84 ”. Resigned, that now I will walk with a shovel. The reality did not agree with the expectations. As it turned out, the phone is not very big, but long. Compact is a good word for describing the P20 Lite.
- OS update allows you to hide the “curb”. Caring for those whom she does not like. Not bad. And, well, miniature notification icons are displayed on it and do not take up too much space on the viewing area of ​​the screen.
- speed. When surfing on social networks and on the Internet, I didn’t experience any inconvenience, just like in normal everyday use - I set the alarm clock, called, wrote SMS, etc. Everything is smooth, fast and pleasant.

Disadvantages: Again, I doubt that I can now review everything, because I use the phone not so long.
- Battery capacity. She is small. You can set up applications in the background and listen to a smart OS that will inform you about applications that consume a lot of energy, but the effect of all this is not so good. The capacity of the battery will remain the same. It is also noteworthy that when ordering from the official site, the manufacturer seems to compensate for the small capacity of the battery with the help of powerbank as a gift.
- the camera. The camera here is NOT bad, but satisfactory. I have nothing against her, but, in my humble opinion, it is slightly worse than the Xiaomi A1. The truth is that in P20 Lite I like the color rendition better. I, in principle, did not expect a top-end camera from this phone. If you want to shoot cool, better buy a camera. Yes, you can take good pictures from this phone, but you have to try. For example, I have not yet ripened to the camera, as well as to the e-book, so I prefer to stop the camera settings on the phone and correct the curvature of the hands: ^)
- design. He is not original. P20 looks five plus, but there is no uniqueness. This is not a disadvantage as such, because the phone is pleasant to the touch, and it is a pleasure to hold it in your hands. However, whatever one may say, there is a clear similarity with the newest Iphone X.
- as for lags and suspensions ... There was a single moment with the network, but I sense my operator is to blame, not the phone. I switched from MTS to Tele2 and at some point the phone refused to look for a mobile network. I waited, rebooted, everything went and now it works fine.
- slippery infection. I still haven't removed the back tape, for I'm afraid. Suddenly scribble. Suddenly slip out of my hands. It would be better in the kit instead of headphones went transparent case.

Comment: Having grieved over the death of my Xiaomi Mi5, having traveled around different SC about a week to finally find out the reasons for his death, I finally decided - I need a replacement phone. Then caught on Huawei. Originally wanted to take Honor 9 Lite. And then I saw on their website advertising new P20 models. Became interesting. It is so interesting that after some thought I ordered the P20 Lite on the day the sales started. He also had a corporate powerbank and a tripod. And I was in the budget. Pleasant.
The verdict is: if you are looking for a phone for the Internet, social networks and other things, you do not play heavy games, you want pictures that are not excellent, but of good quality, and you are sometimes ready to carry a small capacity with you (as a matter of fact) the powerbank, you. I do not play games on the phone. At all. Therefore, it doesn’t hurt me much, for example, the inaccuracy of the processor, but they are pleased with fashionable things like face recognition. As for the processor, its power is enough to meet my requirements. And I need to be in touch, spend time on the Internet, be able to make fotochki and read books without discomfort. The price is proportional to quality, especially if you need a phone for the same functions as me. I would be glad if my review will help someone.

Advantages: The last two weeks I have been concerned about finding a frameless phone with the nfc function. The presence of a super-camera or a top-end processor was not important for me, the main thing is that with a small size of the phone, the efficiency of its working surface was maximum, and that there were basic modern functions.
What just did not look and did not compare: lg g6, samsung a8, oneplus 5t, nokia 7+, mi mix2, etc ... Everything in the region of 28-32 tyr. Everything seems to be quite good, but as you read the reviews, you climb into the reviews, you don’t like something here, you don’t want to be there.
Accidentally going to the store, I saw a P20 with the word "novelty." I held it up, I looked drowsy - I liked everything very much, but I pushed the price tag of 44k instantly. But the benefit of the consultant suggested that there are also P20 lite, which by the time of my arrival everything was already dismantled. I went to another place, and for 20k I found it in stock.
On the phone: I do not know what else is needed for this money, it is very good. Pleased with the presence of the face sensor: it works quickly and clearly. For four days, never failed. The finger sensor works instantly. The screen is super, despite the fact that the size of the phone allows you to use it with one hand, which was important for me. Finally, everything is thought out: the volume keys as well as the on / off button are on the right, there is 3.5 jack, there is a radio, android 8.0, there is a slot for a flash card, its memory is 64GB, a selfie camera is on top, a speaker is on the bottom, and not on the rear panel (decent external sound); Also, with the external minimalist view of the speaker for a conversation - the interlocutor is heard perfectly! I paid attention to such things when choosing a phone, although they were not decisive and constantly did not suit something in other models, a fly in the ointment always calmed my thoughts ...

Disadvantages: The only disadvantages for me are: 1. protruding rear cameras (not critical, since they will drown with a case and may not be exposed). 2. I do not know about water protection, but it is clearly not top, but most likely it is completely absent. 3. The battery for 4, for a day without games, with the account of active use, will end. And after a year or two, it is clearly not necessary to rely on much (by the way, the store gave a gift bank for 6700 mAh as a gift).
I add: the native alarm clock works as it is not clear: the volume is strange and there are few settings. I downloaded the application - it works as it should. A couple of times the applications crashed and 1 time went into flight mode. Well, android is such an android ...

Comment: I am sure that many “experts” of the phones will most likely be dissatisfied not with a top processor, 4GB of opera, and not 6, with a camera for 4k, without a pile of chips (by the way, a selfie camera for 5k!) This money, with the functions that you get, is still a very decent machine. By the way, there is an unobtrusive indicator of events, which is nice. I didn’t regret a gram, I am glad that I stumbled upon it, not even suspecting that on this day it was first sold in Russia.
I was looking for a phone with a set of basic functions, with a good screen, at the corresponding price. Yes, and you read it, because you are also looking for a decent model for hard-earned pieces of paper, and if you are not a wild fan of photos, or watch games at maximum speed, then I am sure you will also be satisfied with this device. And personally, I didn’t see the point of overpaying 2.4 times for P20. For the sake of the processor (I don’t play games), perhaps a bit better cameras, and more memory .... For my money, for a standard P20 Lite user, I consider it a bargain. Let's see how to behave further ... Perhaps, I will add if important information appears.
