Starts up normally, even in frost -20 -25. oil pour 10W40 semi synthetic. It does not work from him for a computer, it seems that it does not understand such electricity. roars decently! but he stands in the garage with the output of the exhaust on the street, with the gate closed tolerated. in the garage of course if you work, then you fool. Four of the noise.

Yes, it’s written in the manual: pour oil into the storage tank, in my opinion, these are remnants of the instructions for 2-stroke engines and you don’t need to do that. You can pour it into the cylinder, look for the candle key at the same time :) The candle is still not conveniently located.

Advantages: The main advantage - it works without problems. It holds the declared power - it was checked on the water-heating tank just for 2.5 quatt, well, on the little things - a kettle, a microwave, a Bulgarian, a drill ... everything works.

Disadvantages: Some people write that the generator is quiet, I do not agree. The generator is very loud! Of course, without the earplug you can walk past, but in the house of a bar with the windows and doors closed you can hear it working outside.Moreover, due to the noise level, it is about the same level both at idle and under full load, just under the load, it is audible that it is tensed up. Once I passed a stall, a red generator of 3 kW worked with a name unknown to me (I didn't remember it), I heard it only 10 meters away, I was even surprised, and when I went to look at this miracle of technology, it didn’t strain ears, just calm and relatively quiet work. And this huter is heard quite far away, and hardly anyone wants to sit close to him, so the silence of this generator is clearly a myth. The muffler, though large, is clearly not doing its job. Compared to other engines of similar power, the vibrations of this engine inside the frame slightly confuse the eye. The engine is attached to the frame on the bottom of rubber pads, so the frame itself does not jump, but the upper part of the engine is not attached to the frame, so everything that is bolted to the engine, especially the air filter and the silencer, sausage to the fullest ... strange work-level gasoline. When they poured it for the first time, they thought that the indicator was broken, but it began to move when they poured it around the forecastle. I would like a more correct indicator. But the filter mesh in the neck of the gas tank is very handy, I have already caught a few "bits and pieces" of local gasoline.

Comment: I bought it to give it, because periodically the trees are blown down by the wind and the light disappears indefinitely. In principle, for rare needs it is quite good. Unlike many engines, this start-up is quite easy even after long non-use (in summer 2-3 tugging, at -20 degrees you have to pull for two minutes if not used for a long time), the voltage at different loads is quite stable (although not always 220 volts). For regular use, for example, to power a stall, I can not advise because of the noise, really you should be stupid to sit next to it all day. But if the noise is not embarrassing, then everything else is done very worthily. In general, the assembly quality and the generator makes a pleasant impression. If the light disappears every couple of months, then it is quite a good way to hold out until it is turned on without having to heat the tea on a fire ... I would put 5 stars, if it were not for the noise, somehow this point touched me, 67dB is stated in the specifications, but NOT I BELIEVE!

Addition. Tested it with an industrial current meter:
* At idle, voltage 220.4, frequency 52.67.
* When using only a laptop, the power is 33 watts, voltage 220.4, frequency 53.06.
* When using a 766 watt heater, 221.2 and 52.59.
* When using a 1141 watt, 222.4 and 52.29 heater.
* When using a 1909 watt, 222.0 and 51.38 heater.

In general, the voltage is within the normal range. The frequency is slightly overestimated, unstable and depends on the load (which the instructions honestly stated (49.5-52.5 +/- 0.4).

I also want to add that the site has overpriced power settings. Marking on the generator and instructions indicate 2500VA, not 2500 watts, this should be taken into account when selecting power. For example, you can connect one 2500-watt kettle to this generator with PF = 1.0 or a bunch of energy-saving light bulbs, but a maximum of 1500 watts, since their PF = 0.6.
