Comment: My wife and I gave my son a birthday present. The child is absolutely delighted. Now you can’t take it out of your ears - it constantly sits and collects. I would have played it myself! It is a pity that in my childhood this was not. I like that it’s not just a constructor that you play and no use for it, it really develops. Very cool stuff! But for such a cost they could give a normal paper instruction and a disc with software would not be superfluous either.

Advantages: A good designer, a great educational toy that requires not only the assembly of cubes, A good guide to mechanics and computer science.

Disadvantages: No fresh literature in Russian. Very expensive soft for expansion. Instructions in electronic form, strains the eyesight of kids when assembling models.

Comment: Really useful set. Took a child 7 years old. The designer was surprised by the functionality, expected less. After the son showed interest and self-assembly of the guitar, he acquired an additional set of EDUs and missing sensors from the basic set. It is necessary to build other official models of robots and non-standard toys. Now we learn to program, we create our own flowcharts. Understands pretty quickly.

Advantages: Super! I gave my son a birthday present, the child is happy ... the parents are even more :)

Disadvantages: For such a cost, you could attach a disk with software, and instructions in paper form. Trite, the child used to collect on the book.

Comment: If you are not deprived of imagination, thanks to this set you can create a great variety of various toys (besides models off the site). Also on the site downloads applications for application programming full-fledged developer interface, which significantly expands the functionality. For example, we write a small program for each assembled model on the tablet, so that it would be possible to control this particular model from it - the child (10 years old) became interested in programming.
Total: fascinates and develops. Perhaps one of the most useful toys in our house.

Disadvantages: Model is expensive. The box shows a close-up of EV3RSTORM, and the assembly instructions for this model are NOT ATTACHED. And they offer to download the instructions from their site in electronic form. THIS IS VERY NOT CONVENIENT AND A GREAT MINUS complete set of this set.

Advantages: Multifunctional, simple, stimulates children to learn mechanics and simplest programming. The ability to program from a PC is not a bad software, control from a tablet. Powered by finger batteries - enough for quite a long time. Already presented 17 models that can be assembled from this set. The variety is very impressive: robots shooting, reacting to movements, driving, walking, drawing (!!!) ... even an electric guitar can be made to change the sound, determining the distance from the sensor to the hand on the fingerboard. Communication channels: bluetooth, wi-fi, IR. Compatible with Lego Technics.

Disadvantages: The high cost of additional sensors and motors.In the box there are instructions for assembling only one model, the remaining instructions are available on the website and through the application on the tablet / phone.

Comment: Very useful set. Gave the child a birthday (7 years). Despite the declared 10+, the child very quickly assembled the first model according to the attached instructions, programs the movements of the robot with a PC with interest through the software installed from the official site, which he figured out quite quickly. Programming is like building a flowchart. He himself was very pleasantly surprised by the possibilities - he was counting on less :)
