LG G7 ThinQ Reviews

Advantages: Bright 2K screen, performance, camera, sound in headphones, protection from water and dust + military standard protection from falling, optimized software, not rounded screen edges, fast charging included, can be charged wirelessly
Disadvantages: autonomy, the location of the 3.5 minijack at the bottom, the location of the fingerprint scanner at the back, not very convenient arrangement of buttons, one speaker located below, which is often closed by hand. But all these shortcomings are not so critical, except for autonomy, the battery is really too small.
Comment: For a long time I was looking for a smart one to replace my Sony Z3. There were many criteria for selection and it was difficult to find something balanced. The main criteria were: convenient use with one hand, good sound in headphones and a loud external speaker, at least 128 GB of internal memory, a good camera and so that it would stick out at least, the presence of a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and of course good software.
Of all that is on the market today, not many smartphones fall under these criteria. At the time of purchase (and this is the beginning of July 2018), the LG G7 was almost the only smart that fell under all my criteria. Of course, it’s impossible to call it ideal, but it’s not too fair to evaluate it too low, because smart is really good.
And so, I will start with the first impression, and he made a good impression on me. Firstly, it turned out to be much smaller than I expected, despite the fact that the diagonal is 6.1 inches. You take it in your hand and you understand that this is a quality thing, not consumer goods. The fit is very high quality, nothing backlash and creaks.
After turning on the smart, of course you pay attention to the screen itself. He is 2K, with a large margin of brightness. The screen resolution, by the way, can be changed in the settings, but personally I did not reduce it.
Regarding the camera, she takes pictures and shoots well. A lot of settings in manual mode. I do not professionally do photo or video shooting, but I want to always have a good camera at hand and in this smart she copes with it.
As for the sound, the sound in the headphones is good, even with regular plugs. As for the external sound, it is loud and clear, without any rattling. The back cover also acts as a speaker (I do not know how it is implemented there). The only drawback is that when watching a video, sometimes a finger buries a speaker.
Well, a few words about the software. It is stable here and without glitches. I use almost a month and there were no flights and reboots during this time. The shell itself is almost pure, there are literally several applications from LG itself and a couple of them are really useful.

Advantages: Design, performance, music. Music sounds really bombed.
Disadvantages: Of the minuses, this battery-screen sucks not bad. It is necessary to use the backlight adjustment.
Comment: I really liked the phone. I chose between the Samsung notes 8. I decided to take a ski. While like.

Advantages: Camera screen, modes, menu.
Disadvantages: no native accessories
Comment: Bought on preorder with a TV as a gift. For all the time using the smartphone did not disappoint even once. It looks concisely and most importantly, it is convenient. The screen of the large size of the phone itself is not huge. I lay in my hand perfectly, it is convenient to use. What is most impressed is the camera with AI mode. CAM did not even think that this was possible. Right on the screen you can see how it determines the color, objects and sets the desired mode. This is a wow effect, whoever I show. Excellent shoots in the dark made for comparison photos in the street at dusk with a normal mode and a bright mode (you need to turn it on in the settings) and it will work automatically. The result is impressive. There is a portrait mode, both on a regular camera and on a selfie. The background blur in the background can be adjusted. There are chips from the snap chat, you can make a photo with various effects, it turns out very cool. There are live photos. In a word, the camera was very pleased, there are all necessary modes and photo quality at altitude. The menu is very convenient, the screen is very sensitive, it works quickly. There is a normal headphone jack, I think this is a plus, since you don’t need to buy anything extra.
