Comment: I bought a gift for my wife, because we love to watch movies and TV shows in the evenings. So, the sound is just a "bomb", that in films, that in music (if the music is in good quality), lg applications are limited, I hoped for ottplayer, but there is no such thing, only 13 applications are available, of which karaoke does not work, 12 ) (others did not try).

Advantages: Powerful, suitable for movies and karaoke. It can play content from USB flash drives and pick up via Bluetooth.

Disadvantages: I have not had time to find.

Comment: The sound is normal and convenient functionality, management is also clear and simple, the menu is clear. If you do not need any over-requirements for the equipment, then this is a decent option for its price, as I already wrote. Everything looks modern, although the model does not seem to be the newest. All popular formats "eats" without any problems.

Advantages: 1.Very good for this price category sound. Met more expensive models with the worst sound. The material of the speakers itself is quite interesting - it is plastic (except for the subwoofer - there is a chipboard), but when tapping a finger on it, the sound is not as plastic, but booming, resembling tapping on wood. Covered with a fabric that softens the sound. The speaker is located in the middle of the top of the speakers and not in the center, but slightly to the side of the center channel speaker. At first I thought that low (for standing speakers) and strange for the central channel. But when turned on, not only the speaker sounds, but the speaker itself vibrates somehow and the impression that the entire speaker sounds evenly.
2. Convenient, visual (you can change the look) menu, with fast scrolling does not freeze.
3. Easily selects the desired track from a 2TB external drive; there are no problems in choosing a song from a complex folder structure (one in another) - a function that my previous cinema could not do.
4. Reads all popular file formats without problems.
5. Stable stand for stand-up speakers.
6. Is friends with a Philips TV (left over from a cinema shelf of the same brand).

Disadvantages: Strictly speaking, I have not yet found any serious flaws.
1. Could be more genuine wires connecting the front side channels - I have them are on the edges of the wall, in which there is a TV and a house. cinema, the distance is not more than one and a half meters from the cinema to the column. The length of the wire barely enough to connect, not vnatyag, of course, but end-to-end.
2It is more difficult to remove dust from a black fabric, tight column than it was in my previous columns (plastic). But maybe this is a fee for a deeper sound.
3. Since the sound is quite surround, not a squeaker, it penetrates well to the neighbors even at a low volume, which limits its use at night (well, only if through headphones).

Comment: While everyone is happy. There is an experience of communicating with him with two other cinema houses - LG (actually, therefore, LG also took) and Philips bookshelf (which is unhappy because of hangs, an inconvenient menu and the fact that the motherboard died without recovery after exactly 3 years of non-intensive use). I use about a month.
Given that this is the 2015 model, i.e. not old, convenient functionality, good sound, and good value for money (as of October 16), quite ready to recommend this model to those who need to watch movies and listen to music in good quality without "special" studio and professional hardware requirements.
PS It seems there is karaoke and Wi Fi, but I have not tried it.

Advantages: A good sound for non-audiophiles, for movies at home is good, especially if you have nothing to compare with. There is a small set of applications, management from a mobile, dlna, easy management. Looks stylish. Stands for heavy speakers. There is an optical input. Navigation does not slow down

Disadvantages: I read not all movies. Either the format was not supported or thrown out at some point. But the part still read from NAS storage. There was not enough cable length for one rear speaker, bought separately. No wall mounting.

Comment: Chose between the house. cinema and audio system. Stopped at first. Especially there is nothing to compare with, but I think I lost by the sound. In principle, I wanted to get a ready-made system with a video player. Listened to the sound at 40% power, but indelible impressions. Loud and deep bass, well, in principle, makes the whole system feel like in a mini-theater (if properly set up and arrange the speakers). For an apartment ... think about your neighbors, if you can use at least half the capacity, otherwise it may make no sense to overpay. The audio system with the receiver cost more. But in this and in another case, you will have to use an additional omnivorous player (set it while raspberry pi). Although it may just try to choose a format that shows the built-in player and download movies in it. Sound 5.1, as it should. Can be controlled from mobile. There is karaoke, different songs (not tried) are preinstalled, and applications like YouTube, ivi. In general, satisfied with the purchase, but not yet appreciated all the possibilities. Well, I would not refuse to be able to attach the speakers to the wall, because children at home and constantly climb. Bottom line: if sound is important to you, taking an audio system with decent speakers, if you “bought and forgot” and are not sure that you are ready to overpay, is a good solution.
