A couple of years ago I thought that this model would soon be removed from the conveyor. What is there, these Swiss, developed by Logitech, will trade them, it seems, another ten years, without hitting a finger to improve something.

Comment: I have such 2. The first one bought a long time ago. After a certain time, Logitech started releasing this series (God save them and all the forces of the universe), and this can be seen from a barely noticeable change in the type of plastic, it is no worse and no better, just another, more rough to the touch, something =) such a price you get a piggy delight, the quality is really tactile, you can feel it, it turns out to be of good quality things are also inexpensive! For beginners - the most it! If the question of price does not matter, then there is another option for a bunch of Saitek X52 Pro + rudder pedals, but that's another story.

Advantages: Convenient in hand.

Comment: Joystick, served for more than 5 years, was used with medium intensity. Sometimes it was necessary to eliminate excessive play in the sleeve.
When completely out of order, I decided to try Defender Cobra M5, but I got two defective ones in a row, and again took this one. I do not regret, especially to Cobra would have to get used to the new, it is completely different in their settings.

Advantages: Virtually non-kill, if not to apply extreme measures. Suitable for managing everything that flies, starting with gliders in Microsoft Flight Sim 2004 and ending with Star Citizen. I have been living with this joystick since childhood (from about 2003-2004, I don’t remember exactly), and only now I thought to change it for something more serious

Disadvantages: A pair of buttons on the plane failed, apparently, the problem of a mechanical nature. They survive, but with difficulty.
A little strange sensations from the yaw axis movements are most likely associated with the usual wear and tear of parts.

Comment: This is the most successful joystick in its price category, which I have ever held in my hands. Now I use it in Star Citizen as a handle for managing the strafe, and for RUS I use Force. This one, although extremely similar to Extreme, is much worse both in terms of convenience and reliability.
I understand perfectly why Logitech restarted its production. I want to feel the new version and understand how it differs from my old one.
