From the very beginning we didn’t work out with Gui, I called the consultant, but her verdict was unequivocal - no bottles! Only a syringe or spoon. Naturally, with a supplement of 60 ml, it is not possible to pour food into the child calmly in this way, he is nervous and sheds almost everything on himself.

I began to independently study the topic with Gw and stumbled upon this wonderful bottle.

We had no capture, it was very painful to feed from the very beginning, the consultant said that it was impossible to endure, you had to pull out your chest and insert it in a new one.

But the child clung to it with his teeth, more precisely with his gums, it was like hell of pain, and so tightly that he couldn’t pull it out with any little finger. I tried to twist the sponge in the process of feeding, but all in vain, he crawled back from the areola to the nipple and clutched at his chest with a death grip.

And so, after reading reviews, I decided to try Medela.

I’ll say right away that it was difficult to assemble it the first time, it was necessary to twist and insert the silicone nozzle several times, and check that the mixture did not flow from it when I turned the bottle over.

Grandmothers have not learned to cope with it, so this is a minus.

Comment: After the maternity hospital, I was already in tune with full artificial feeding, because the baby stopped sucking the breast completely (in the maternity hospital I lay separately for some time and got used to the nipple), and when I tried to give it I screamed and pulled out. The milk began to disappear, and there was no strength to decant all day and night.

And then my friend advised me to try to buy Medela Kalma's nipple. I did not really believe in what was said in the advertisement about this nipple, that it was “like a breast,” that a child could suck both a breast and a bottle at the same time without any problems. But I bought it. A nipple with a bottle cost me about 900 rubles.
Began to give the child food from this bottle (sometimes expressed milk, sometimes a mixture).The child ate with pleasure. And then I tried to give the child a breast and lo and behold! He took it and began to suck, albeit not as active as we would like, but at that time it was not so important.

And gradually over a couple of weeks, we switched completely to eating breast milk. Part we ate from a bottle of Medela (expressed), and part of the chest. It was very convenient, because the baby was also at the breast, and at any moment I could leave for work and leave the expressed milk without worrying about the consequences.

Many people (including doctors) said to me that if you give food from a bottle, you will not be able to take the breast.

And with Medela, it turned out the other way around - if it were not for this bottle, then we would not have seen our breasts.

Comment: After giving birth, I had to undergo a small operation, requiring my absence for at least 3 days. Because I was planning to feed the baby for a long time, then I began to express milk in advance and study the reviews about the nipples on the bottle. Many praised this pacifier and despite a somewhat expensive price (I bought it for 750 rubles), I decided to purchase it.

We didn’t make friends with a pacifier immediately, to get milk, the baby really has to work :) Milk flows from the bottle only when the baby is actively sucking. I think this is the merit of this nipple, because it is easier to extract milk from the breast.

The nipple is suitable for all ages, but the manufacturer advises to change it every 3 months. We are already 6.5 months old, but we haven’t bought a new one yet, because We don't use it often (for the mother’s short absences).

So the process of eating became hard work, but literally after a couple of days, the baby got used and now there are no problems.
