Nikon D3300 Body Reviews

Evaluation 4
Advantages: Today, it is one of the best cameras for novice photographers. There are all the basic functions and shooting modes, with a relatively small size and weight. The 24 MP matrix without an anti-alias filter and the newest Expeed 4 processor (the same as on professional D4s / D810 cameras) give excellent shots, and if you put an expensive high-aperture lens, instead of a dark whale, you can hardly distinguish photos from professional ones cameras. And all this at a very seductive price of twenty thousand rubles.
Disadvantages: Of the minuses, you can highlight: The screen is not rotary and not large, not very many focus points (11 pcs.), Formula 1 at full speed will not keep up such a focus! The lack of built-in wi fi and a screwdriver, but for most novice photographers, this is all not really necessary!
Comment: I use this unit for about six months!

Advantages: Bought a week ago. My first SLR. It was experienced using digital cameras. Heaven and earth. The quality of photos is excellent, great night shooting. Convenient and easy to use. In the management is simple. And the most important thing is its price, and the quality is compatible!
Disadvantages: for amateur, flaws in principle and no!
Comment: took this photo 8 months ago. For the time of use, I clicked a couple of thousand photos. It is clear that this is an amateur SLR, but when you take it after the usual

Advantages: Positive feedback on this camera is quite reasonable. Good matrix, good display, convenient control. Settings - enough, nothing more. Qualitatively assembled. Compact, lightweight, well in the hand. If done correctly - great shots. Sharpness, resolution, good colors even with an inexpensive standard lens.
Disadvantages: The viewfinder in my opinion the most important drawback. Dark. Indication is badly visible - small icons. The software on the enclosed disk is not Russified and is rather weak by functionality.
Comment: I installed a 35-1.8 lens fix on the carcass, it turned out to be an excellent kit, I shoot it in a PAB, I process it in Lightroom. Although the camera is positioned "for beginners", in fact - quite advanced, high-quality product without any extra gadgets. The quality-price ratio is very high. If you put a rather expensive and high-quality lens on the carcass - the quality of the images will be at the level of much more expensive devices. In the end, the quality of images depends on the matrix and the lens in the first place. Highly recommend.

Smart focus does not miss, shots are sharp as on Mark |||

Comment: I advise everyone to take with a 18-105mm lens and it will generally be a full twist

Evaluation 5
Advantages: Excellent screen, excellent detail of images, low weight of the device, tenacious battery, 1080 60p in NTSC, acceptable rate of fire, excellent color reproduction and very low noise level for a camera of this class.
Disadvantages: 12 bit ADC, Cheap plastic case. I do not know, for the sake of what it is done, weight or cheaper, but it feels really unpleasant in comparison with the d3100. The switch of shooting modes is now a button and a software one - again, they are a bit cheaper. The panorama mode is poor.
Brakes a magnifying glass with a 3-fold approximation. For most cases, a 2-fold of course is enough, but still. Misunderstandings with shutter lag in livvyvu, have not yet figured out, it will be sad if this is the norm.
Comment: Do not listen to those who say that 24 megapixel to the crop - a lot, now it is the norm. A bold pixel does not mean a good picture, for example - D600 vs D800E.

Great model for its price.
P / S If not for the fucking crisis in the Russian Federation.

Advantages: All that is necessary for a person who takes pictures several times a year is some events here.
The quality of the pictures is excellent. Color rendition and BB are excellent.
Good ergonomics.
Good build and generally used plastic.
There is a cleaning matrix. When traveling can be useful.
High-quality video.
The stock of megapixels allows you to print pictures more than A4, or to crop not entirely successful ones.
Disadvantages: Microscale when shooting.
Noise matrix (relative to 6MP Crop)
Slow lifeview.
Autofocus in video mode.
Comment: 24MP is a double edged sword. On the one hand, more megapixels make it possible to maneuver with framing and printing. I want to keep good moments in the best quality and with maximum details. But on the other hand, at 100% viewing is not so smooth. I went to the event, took pictures, got microsmases in half the shots. Those. rule that the shutter db equal to 1 / the focal does not work. At 1/100 sec, there is a smear per 100 mm in 35mm equivalent. And this with the stabilizer on! Therefore, we have to adhere to this rule: shutter speed = 1/2 * cropping factor * focal on the lens.
The second problem is sharpness. I have a 16-85mm lens, i.e. of the standard zooms, the sharpest. It has a measurement resolution of 2400 lines per image height. At 4000 pixel height of the matrix, the resolution of the lens is not enough. Hike only fixes fully reveal the matrix. Normal zooms do not cope. This is seen in the pictures. Indeed, the minimum detail falls on a couple of pixels.
The third problem is noise, relatively nikon d40. Miracles do not happen. The same size was pushed into 4 times more pixels. The matrix, as a result, is noisier than 6mp on d40.
When shooting video, too, their jokes with autofocus. I did not expect this. Elozit there - here. So either manual focus, or it is extremely rare to use refocusing. The quality of the video itself is just great.
Everything else, like autofocus, picture quality in general, video quality, speed, ergonomics - all at altitude. If you get used to the features of 24MP, the camera is just great. Compared with the D40 heaven and earth.
P.S. D5300 did not take because of the swivel screen. Deprives of solidity and reliability.
D7100 - expensive, hard and bells and whistles are not needed for episodic shooting. The D3300 has everything you need. I decided to invest in the lens.
