1) There is a gap on the MSI Z97 Gaming 5 card up to the first PCI slot, but small, about 1 cm, i.e. already click on the top of the video card latch to remove it
2) In fact, the tower itself directly rests on two screws
3) Again, on my mother - the rightmost fan actually lies sideways on the memory bar (I have it of standard height, but with a radiator - Fury), i.e. if you have an ozu with high radiators - the 2nd fan will bulge, but in spite of this - if you remove it - that is, full memory access without having to remove the radiator itself

Comment: Recently I installed D15 on i7-4790k, to tell you the truth, I faced Noctua for the first time, but fell in love and the price justifies their quality (replaced all the turntables in the case - there are 6 of them, they work silently at 500-600rpm). And so D15 is quite simple to install, everything is simple and clear. With cooling, 4790k copes with a bang, set the profile in the BIOS settings, so that the turntables up to 45C work at 300rpm, and only after that they gradually unwind, i.e. consider the passive - it is not audible at all, in a simple percent at the drain frequencies it keeps around 28-30C, after 2 hours of playing in GTA5 - it was possible to warm the percent to just 45-50 degrees, which I consider to be a very good result (the old 3570k with another fan stock warmed up to 60-65). For a silent system - definitely Must Have

Advantages: 1 Excellent cooling (the best in the world in the complex: noise, cooling, air flow, equipment)! 2 ease of installation, full, or I would say, absolute equipment (for Intel and AMD processors) .3 Low noise (there are even adapters that reduce the noise of 2 fans) .4 is the easiest fan mount.

Disadvantages: Weight and dimensions (but otherwise do not achieve high cooling rates and silence.) And yet, look carefully at the dimensions of the case and the dimensions of the Noctua NH-D15, may not fit into the case! And the case must be roomy so that the filling does not choke from overheating.

Comment: I installed it in the case, I was afraid that it would touch the side cover. But there was a place, a couple of centimeters were in reserve. The radiator was made so that it did not interfere with installing RAM with high radiators, but the fans had to be installed not on the grille, but on pulling, so as the fan in the front when installing, it protruded so much that it went beyond the case. I moved the front fan and the cooler between the radiators (in the center). It went easily and without complications! I am very pleased with the purchase !!! If you have a powerful processor, then I strongly advise you to purchase and mouth To establish Noctua NH-D15, in my opinion, this is the best option!

Advantages: The quality checked by time. The progenitor of this model is the legendary ND-14. Large dispersion area, large external cooler size, workmanship, minimum component tolerances.
Now there is even more space for memory modules: 32mm with an external cooler, and as much as 64mm if you move it up or completely remove it, replacing it with a 120mm fan.

Disadvantages: Redundant delivery. It is clear that the manufacturers were a little greedy: why produce two types of packaging equipment (by the way, it’s very convenient and of high quality).
Well, why should I set for installation on AMD sockets?
A manufacturer for two installation kit (intel and AMD each in a separate box) in the kit is easier to justify the price.

Comment: An excellent choice for socket 2011 v 3, for an almost reasonable price.
p.s. Without an installation kit for an AMD socket, the price would have been even nicer.

Disadvantages: Namely, the size, which, according to ideas, should play only a positive role, confidently diverting heat, also rendered a "disservice." When choosing this cooler, be careful when installing on some motherboards, since due to the size this supercooler may overlap the first PCIe slot or (as I have on the Rampage V) interfere with installing the video card in the first slot because of the edges of the radiator fins, close resting them on the video card board. I solved the problem by using another slot, and I inserted a small PCIe device into the first one.

Comment: I recommend to the choice, who does not want to mess with NWO, since the level of heat removal Noctua NH-D15 is not inferior to decent dropsy.
