Reviews of Onkyo CR-N755

Evaluation 5
Advantages: Great sound! Compact body, stylish design (took in silver) good functionality, omnivorous in playback formats, high-quality assembly, convenient and stylish remote.
Disadvantages: Very finely displayed information on the screen, with a sufficiently large area. If the track numbers and the name of the radio stations are quite readable, then information about the inclusion of certain functions is displayed very finely. It is not clear why it was necessary to carry the IR receiver for the remote control separately on the front panel and close it with a milky white cap, it was easier to place the IR receiver under the glass of the display. Turning on and off some functions would be nice to place on the remote control as a separate button, so as not to climb through the menu.
Comment: I liked the device very much in terms of sound quality I bought with Tannoy mercury v1i speakers. (8 Ohms) The power of the device is enough for a medium-sized room of 18-20 m. When connecting more sensitive acoustics infinity SM 85 (4 Ohms) had a positive effect on sound quality and power , lack of saba not felt. BT adapter did not connect so as not to occupy the rear USB connector, because it is better to connect a hard disk with your favorite music to it, and use the suggested connector for the network. The device coped well with headphones AKG 171 Mk 2 (55 Ohms). The device is worth, of the recommendations I advise you to buy more sensitive acoustics (4 ohms).

Advantages: Great sound
Disadvantages: Get ready to buy a subwoofer and Bluetooth adapter.
Comment: Paired with Onkyo D-055 and Onkyo SKW-770 subwoofer pleases with clear and detailed sound. Connect a laptop or smartphone on bluetooth and enjoy!

1.
When streaming music on bluetooth there is a noticeable delay, a little less than a second, between the laptop and the receiver, so watch the movie in this way will not work. And the stream is possible only in the mode of 16-44, so the solution is exclusively for music.

2.
The Onkyo Bluetooth Adapter sometimes brakes and loses touch. Maybe it will somehow be cured by flashing the device through the network, but I’m still too lazy to do this.

3.
Simultaneously with the bluetooth, the device can be connected to the home grid by wifi or simply by cable. You can connect the computer by SP-diff.

4.
And the most important thing! Do not listen to mp3 from VKontakte, VKontakte shamelessly pinch them. Listen with Yandex music.

The device is highly recommended for purchase with Onkyo D-055 speakers and Onkyo SKW-770 subwoofer.

Advantages: Appearance. Sound. Detailed study of all frequencies. Functional.
Disadvantages: Weak built-in amplifier. At the volume above 25-27 you start to hear the distortion.
Comment: It is worth the money. (12-15000 TR)

Advantages: Omnivorous machine. And if you buy more WiFi and Bluetooth modules .... Good build quality.
Disadvantages: The display is single-line, the Russian language does not understand. Low power - you need to pick up "light" acoustics. Headphone no - with 42 Ohms Audio-Technica ATH-A900X can not cope. And read the instructions - not all formats are read with different connection methods.
Comment: The main and main advantage is that the device reads anything and everything, any inputs plus the addition of wireless modules. For its price - it sounds good. The issue with the display is solved by the utility for iOS or Android (devices must be on the same network).

Advantages: Price - took in the famous online store for 13.600 rubles.
Outstanding sound.
Great design.
Immense functionality.
Disadvantages: No built-in Wi-Fi.
Auto tuning in the FM band allows you to save only 20 stations out of 40. However, the manual programming mode of this "jamb" levels.
Comment: Long chose. Before that, I listened to the Teac 228i. Sold The sound was annoying. Took 755. In any comparison. I did not even expect such a quality.
Apart from this model is lossless playback (lossless compressed data formats). This is the undoubted trump card of this universal sound machine.
Also worth noting is the excellent reception of FM radio stations and the endless possibilities for listening to Internet radio, for every taste, and, surprisingly, in a decent quality.

Advantages: Good sound; Workmanship; Appearance; Functionality; Good price-performance ratio
Disadvantages: Does not understand Russian file names; Not quite convenient remote control; Not always determines the flash drive from the first time (perhaps it's a flash drive); Not enough output power
Comment: About fun - a sound with a claim to seriousness, and a claim not unreasonable ... It is clear that with a SOI 0.4 transistor sound is present, but it sounds nevertheless good. I got this receiver with Dali Lektor 2 - quite ... although it could be a little the amplifier has more power, especially considering the low sensitivity of the Lecturers, but it will generally go (room 18 m). I like the design very much, it gives the impression of a quality thing ... some toy of the 603 Marantz pushed once, another thing. Universality - reads flac without problems, except from the crafty one - the 34/192 format or so, he does not see these ... Yes, for some reason he refused to reproduce the flags by DNLA, that is, he sees, but does not lose ... He didn’t understand much, because the same files in a shared folder on the network play without problems (with a wired connection, if through the adapter wi-fi is with hesitations, alas) ... the network radio is excellent, the wired one is not connected because of the unpleasantness of sad things with asterisks instead of names on the display, getting to the desired file via a NET connection - the occupation is too dreary ... The remote control is some kind of horizontally symmetrical or something, it is easy to take it upside down and press the wrong button .... it may not be used to it just yet. Yes, at first it perfectly defined the flash drive, now it does not see right away , you have to turn on or off or insert-remove several times .... maybe the flash drive itself is buggy. In general, the device is not without flaws, so all the same 4, but solid). overall satisfied
