Comment: The ability to convincingly reveal the sound quality of high-expansion formats in comparison with 16/44 is not typical of all devices, even stationary ones, you will hear everything on this device. It is unlikely then willingly return to the usual CD-rips. Even listening to the Sennheiser HD800 does not feel that the source is quite budget

Advantages: I will be banal. Sound, appearance, the ability to pick up a cell, player and laptop. And get a good sound.

Comment: Oppo RM -1 headphones bought on the occasion of the loss of the Oppo weight by 2, so that was enough for a long time. And I must say that the headphones - yes, surprised. Amplifier - less surprised, but wins back their money. But with a stationary amplifier obviously loses. And the portable player Fiio X3 II, which was already before, completely drags these ears almost with a bang. But with cell and ipad everything is much better. Although I rarely listen to them.
Although probably all this is obvious without the foregoing.
Laptop Asus N53 windows 7 64 bit after the dance with tambourines found and registered the amplifier, you can figure it out, there are detailed instructions and drivers on the offsite. He loved him so much that he punched him by default, and he trampled on other sound drivers. The laptop is connected to a simple analogue amplifier Technix SW-V 500 through a line-out tulips, so the sound from it on the headphones seems more interesting. I will give him preference. Now I think, and maybe it would not be worthwhile to take the OPPO amp in such a scenario? When a player with good power and low-impedance headphones?

Advantages: Great sound output. I'm not an audiophile, but the difference with the direct connection of headphones (Beats Studio, Sennheiser HD 595) is very noticeable.

The price in Russia is 30-40 percent higher than in the USA, Europe or Asia.

Comment: I bought it for use with Apple devices, both in portable and stationary versions: I spend a lot of time on the road, so I don’t see the point of buying a large stationary amplifier.Used with Beats Studio and Solo 2 for listening to speech, electronics and jazz. The device justified expectations: the sound became much richer, the headphones came to life.

Included are 3 connectors for different devices (lightning for Apple products, as well as micro-USB and a standard audio adapter). Even 2 gum put to wear with the player.

Gave to listen to more sophisticated people in sound - rated at "four plus".

Comment: I can call myself an audiophile with a stretch, not a fan of the typical “listening” to the purity and linearity of the tract. I can write only what I literally wanted to find in the Internet reviews:

Experiments with the connection of different headphones led to the fact that, as a youth, the beloved Monster Inspiration is repugnant, they sound good from the phone, and bass is very unpleasantly bombed through Orro and the rest of the frequencies are inundated (but this is more story). In general, which surprised, one way or another, Orro allowed even cheap plugs to be “opened up”, although not in the same way as with higher-grade ears.

How portable is superb! Small, perfectly in the hand, does not slip, it is easy to reach all the buttons and the switch, it looks gorgeous! It works stably from the computer, player and phone.

The sound is very detailed, slightly can be harsh compared to other portable DAC. Sound cards like Asus Xonar Essence ST (x) and Creative SoundBlaster ZxR are much worse than Oppo HA-2.

Very capricious in relation to the recording and digitization. If possible, listen to music in DSD, as this format HA-2 reproduces particularly high quality. I think the portable DAC should still be more loyal to the musical material ...

Now let's talk about sad things. In Europe, they want for this device only 299 dollars. And in Russia - about 500. Due to the low exchange rate of the ruble, the purchase of Oppo HA-2 becomes an expensive pleasure.
