Slim and narrow body, allows you to hold the tablet with one hand, although it is 7 inches. Bright IPS display with correct colors. Decent picture quality, especially the main camera. Availability of mobile Internet and 4G support. The absence of noticeable squeak in compression, or gaps in the assembly. 7 Android (although I would have sat on a stable sixth for now). Good sound, although the speaker is one.
In fact, the advantages are much more, but there is no point in writing everything, much has already been written.

Disadvantages: Unnecessary installed programs embedded in the firmware.
Lack of native covers manufacturer for sale, universal cover the camera. It would be great if the case and protective film on the display were bundled, as in the early models, even with an increase in cost.

Comment: Conclusion: the product turned out to be interesting, good in operation, hopefully and of decent quality. From what was at the time of the choice, only with 2 gigabytes of RAM, among this price category. I did not find any special disadvantages to regret the purchase. The quality of the tablet will show the lifetime. Willingly recommend to purchase!

Advantages: Android 7.0. When first turned on, it was updated, after a couple of days it was again updated. Almost no garbage in the form of non-erasable programs.
Qualitatively assembled, pleasant \ "soft-touch \" case looks good. For 7 inches is very compact. Fits into most pockets. The case is not slippery, the screen looks like it has an oleophobic coating (unlike the younger models TB-7304 of the same Tab 4 series). There are practically no prints.
2 sim cards. The presence of 3G and LTE, can be used as a phone, there are proximity sensors and light (work well). The sensitivity of the phone is average (one division less than on the phone with the same operator). There is a bug at the phone. directory: if you sort the list by last name, and the names of subscribers start with the last name, then the dialer crashes and gives an error, but the SMS does not come (it is treated with a third-party contact type +).
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth without any complaints.
Smart GPS. Positioned quickly, even with a "cold" start. Accuracy is not perfect, but it deserves a solid 4 (it is suitable for navigation without problems, unlike the Tab3 series, which had a problem there).
The volume is sufficient for use in the car (but without stock). The clarity is excellent.There is a dolby atmos. The sound quality in the headphones did not check.
The speed is average - acceptable for \ "domestic \" needs (used in the car: car launcher ag, navigation, radar detector, inclinometer, megaphone-tv, internet. Sometimes all at the same time, some of the programs in the background work). A half-second hitch at the start of programs (affects 1GB of RAM), then everything goes smoothly and without braking. No flights. Games have not tried, but I think that is not his option.
MicroUSB with OTG function. When charging, it is almost not heated even under good load. When using the maximum brightness manages to charge. Autonomous work is quite good (subjective assessment, I can’t give specific figures).
There is still a mode of several users (Multiuser, i.e., as in \ "Windows \": several accounts on one computer). Not sure what is useful, but the device can.

Disadvantages: Of the 16GB, only 11 are available for recording software. In principle, it suffices if audio-video is written to an SD card. (On younger models from 8GB only 3 are available). Programs on SD \ "move \".
2 SIM cards or 1 SIM card and memory card.
Cameras do not even want to comment. 5m and 2m. Crap for a tick.
Phone and SMS give an error. It is treated by a third-party program.
MicroUSB (it's time to switch to type-C). Charging is sooo long. Highly. Maybe it seems comparing with my phones with quick charge. Charger only 1A. Strange decision.
Brightness without stock. The sun becomes dumb.

The set in the box is poor as an ascetic life: the device itself, the charger and the cord. And that's it! No, not that the protective film or glass - there was not even a factory film covering the display.

Comment: Very good option for the money. If you do not play, then I think that the buyer will be satisfied. Perfect for my tasks.
It’s a good machine, but it still feels that almost nothing left of that very IBM’s IBM Lenovo, now it’s just China’s consumer goods, albeit mostly of decent quality. There is one more plus, although indirect and not directly related to this device: Lenovo’s customer support by phone really works and works very well, and this is important.

Comment: I chose a tablet for myself, i.e. I cut in the search for those tablets that did not meet my requirements, just did not want to overpay for the extra functions. The tablet is not for children, especially you will not play, but for the rest of the functions it is! The Internet connects, the browser loads, besides not a small screen resolution when viewing pages.
You will call, you will hear in the handset a pleasant, soft sound of the opponent's voice, which indicates a good built-in speaker.
And on a trail, I’ll say that when used individually, I have enough charge for a couple of days. Not complaining!

Advantages: Performance, bright and high-quality display, despite not the highest resolution, battery life, build quality, appearance.

Disadvantages: The 5 MP camera doesn’t even cope with quite bright artificial lighting, the quality of shooting is below average, reminded push-button telephones of the beginning of two thousandths. Short and hard charging cord, the charger itself is only 1A.

Comment: Excellent tablet for the money for most tasks. I needed a small, inexpensive and lightweight model - I chose Tab 4 8 and I don’t regret it. The seventh android runs very, very quickly, did not notice the brakes in any application. The device looks very nice and in the hand lies well. The biggest drawback of this model is the camera, which is rather conditional, except for shooting documents. Obviously, this is due to the low price. Therefore, if your main task is good photos and videos, the tablet is not for you. However, if I am not mistaken, the same camera in the Plus version for almost 20 thousand is probably a drawback of the whole series. The rest of the tablet almost no complaints. Yes, the screen resolution is not the highest, but it doesn’t hit the eye at all, for 8 inches is enough, the image quality and maximum brightness is very high. The sound of Atmos is a rather interesting decision, the movie is nice to watch, despite the almost complete absence of low frequencies. The interface is minimalist and pleasant, the maximum of the android and the minimum of its own creativity, the tablet is not overloaded with advertising or a bunch of unnecessary applications, which often sins the same Samsung. 16 GB of memory is not a problem, a flash drive up to 128 GB is formatted as an internal extension (better class 10, not lower).
The only thing that didn’t like, except for the camera, is the mockingly short and hard charging cord and charging itself by only 1 amp: it seemed to charge for quite a long time - however, for a tablet with its battery capacity, this is normal, but with fairly active use the gadget worked two days.
In general, if you need an inexpensive, not gaming, but rather fast tablet for most common tasks and you do not plan to take photos and videos - lenovo tab 4 8 can be safely recommended for purchase.
