Disadvantages: Heavy cover, in my opinion. In order not to be frightened by the jet of steam, I put a rag on the valve before opening)
Comment: I chose a slow cooker for a long time, after my old one had departed to a different world and had not lost, after buying, she had never used the stove before) the previous cartoon was used mainly for dairy porridges, and in this I cook absolutely everything: baking pilaf.

UPD! With longer operation, I noticed one significant negative for me - the silicone ring absorbs the smells of the previous dishes and generously presents them with new ones. Compote with the aroma of onions or cheesecake with a hint of meat - not the most pleasant desserts. They say that the problem of the silicone ring is quite common, and not only in Redmond, someone more, someone less. If you wash the silicone ring in a timely manner, then absorption is reduced to a minimum (they say). But I can't do it, because sometimes I put soups for the night. It is not possible to completely remove odors with an ordinary detergent, although over time the fragrance has become not so sharp, but the sediment, as they say, has remained. Baking and milk cereals suffer the most. In theory, it would be necessary to buy a spare ring, but it must go somewhere for him. In short, for those who faced the same problem - my LIFHAKI:

2. If you are afraid that the new dish smells of old - you can wrap the silicone ring with a single layer of baking paper.
3. Vigorous seasoning is better to put after cooking, when the lid is no longer necessary to cover.

UPD2! By the crock-pot, except for the smell of the ring, there are still no complaints. experiments:

A book with recipes urgently requires moderation!) in particular, recipes for milk porridge and mashed potatoes.
