Why reset to factory settings requires some kind of password? The remote began to fail after 2 months of operation! it works, it does not work !!! Furious already! If they read, they would not ask, "Why does a password require a reset to the factory settings?". In the passport both the password (000000) and what it is installed for are indicated. By the way, this is done by ALL consoles sold in Russia, because the user is obliged to restrict children to watch programs with unacceptable age levels.
Most likely, it’s the same with the question “Why doesn’t the antenna from the kit accept anything” - you connected a collective antenna (which you shouldn’t do), thus triggering the protection of the digital receiver and turning off the antenna. Turn on the power according to the instructions and the antenna will work.
About the console - how exactly does the fault manifest? Did you replace the batteries? Replace the remote control can be any learning remote control.

Comment: Once again about the formats: the file extension is one, the format of the video stream in the file is another, and the format of the audio stream is the third. In the MKV, MP4 or AVI containers there can be any sound - from stereo MP3 64bit to Dolby Digital TrueHD. In the first case, everything will be perfectly reproduced (as in the case of PCM, AAC or AAC-HE), while in the second it will not. Because there is no DolbyDigital hardware decoder in the receiver and we have never declared the possibility of playing DD, DD +, DTS, DD-HD, DD-TrueHD, etc.
With files downloaded on torrents - many people pull BD-remux, and then they want from the digital receiver the capabilities of the Dune media player. But we also listen to these desires - in the near future a new model will be produced, with a DolbyDigital decoder, but it will also cost a little more.
Well, carry the receiver back or not - it's your business. And it does not matter that its main function is the reception of digital TV broadcasting in DVB-T2 format.
