SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC UHS Class 3 V30 Reviews

Evaluation 5
Advantages: Speed, for cameras with UHS-I - what we need.
Disadvantages: Not yet discovered
Comment: A card bought in Japan in May of 32 gave a powerful speed boost in shooting on the Sony A7 (the camera understands the UHS-I protocol, so speed cards are recommended for it). Before that he shot on Transcend 600x, but the long recording of raw files into memory annoyed him. With Sandisk speed has increased dramatically. Therefore, I began to look for the second here, already at 64. In two places I broke off - the box is the same, but the card inside is with a different polygraph, not red letters on a gold background, but gold ones on a black background, like cards with UHS-II. On the site of Sandiska - only the old printing, with a gold stripe, so I decided that this is a fake series. But I found a certain foreign website with the message that the support of the Sandisc confirmed the change of printing, just the site has not yet been updated. Today I bought a card with delivery in a well-known online store - there is already a photo with a new printing on the box, on the card too. Registration of the serial number on the website of the sandesk worked. For speed - the same as the old card with a gold stripe. So you can take black!
UPD: Support for Sandiska wrote to me that since March 1, 2014 there is a new polygraphy, similar to the UHS-II series.

Evaluation 5
Advantages: The big throughput almost corresponding declared.
Disadvantages: When copying small files, the speed drops sharply.
Comment: I bought it with a video camera, because lower-grade memory cards broke the recording during the shooting, especially when using the PRE-REC function. Copy speed checked on Transcend TS-RDF8K card reader with USB 3.0 interface, connected to a stationary PC to the corresponding connector. When copying AVCHD files to a computer, the speed is about 67 Mb / s. When writing to a card, the speed is about the same. When copying small files from a card or to a card in large quantities, the speed drops to 30 Mb / s. The interesting thing is that if you format the card in the NTFS system, then the copy speed increases to 107 Mb / s. True, the video camera does not accept such a card ... Those users who write about low speed do not take into account that the final result depends on the device into which the memory card is inserted and on the file system. Such a warning is on the package with the card. If you insert such a card into a USB 2.0 card reader, there is nothing surprising that the speed is low. And if the device does not support more than 45 Mbps, it will not issue more. In general, there are no complaints, even when the recording was broken on the card, when the electricity was cut off. After formatting the card worked as usual. There are no failures yet. I doubt about the fragile case, since I disassembled the same card and saw the microcircuit inside it, it is soldered to a thin board, but soldered in such a way that the board does not protrude beyond the limits of the microcircuit and the contacts are located directly under it. Moreover, it is soldered so that it is not easy to tear it from the board. Even if you accidentally break the card in half, the microchip will have nothing, since it, together with the contacts, takes up only a third of the entire length of the card. But I do not recommend experimenting.

Advantages: took for shooting video with a bit rate of 150-200 megabits - copes without problems.
Disadvantages: the price could have been a bit smaller, as I understand it writes, it really is somewhere around 40 megabytes per second, which is certainly also very cool, but not at all 95 MB
Comment: those who shoot video on the blackmagic pocket or hacked panasonic gh2 - MUSt HAVE.

USB 2.0
Disadvantages: Who thinks it's expensive, look at the Lexar Professional series and notice the difference in performance and price.
Comment: Excellent card, the current price is fully justified. It makes no sense to read on usb 2.0 card readers, the card will not show itself.

Advantages: she is really fast
Disadvantages: expensive
Comment: it is so effective that the buffer in the camera practically does not fill up with usb 3.0; it shows 82-86 mb / c!
sandisk spoil almost impossible. reliable as lexar or panas.

Advantages: Speed, reliability, security
Disadvantages: it was not easy to find on sale, in Kazakhstan there is none
Windows XP saw the card only after installing the exFAT driver
Comment: Sony SLT-A77 with a recording speed of 12 frames / s required a good flash drive. On the whole, my old MemoryStick (absolutely not speedy) did not contribute to working with 24-megapixel. The camera was tupila not only when recording a series (even normal), but in general, even on viewing. And here - just a fairy tale! Really high-speed map, I am very pleased. My only miscalculation is the volume. 64 gigabytes is 2500 RAW 24-megapixel or 11.5 hours of video. You can take two days from morning to evening without worrying about copying material, but I don’t need that much. Well, you never know;) The price is rather big, but not transcendental - and from experience I already know that SanDisk deserves it;)

Advantages: Reliability, stability of work.
Disadvantages: I do not know
Comment: Somehow I was not going to write a review about the flash drive. But yesterday I discovered that she had washed herself in a typewriter, having not been previously removed from the pocket of her pants. After that, it continues to work without any changes. Damn cool)

Advantages: Superb write and read speed.
Large volume. With a size of RAW 24mb, the fotik assumes that it will fit more than 1000. For me this is quite enough for a 1-2 week shooting on a journey.
Disadvantages: Price. I bought in August for 6000r. Now prices have fallen significantly. But I do not regret, becauseI bought before the trip, from which I brought excellent photos on this map.
Comment: I use more than 4 months, there are no problems.

Advantages: Data processing speed, size, brand, support from the manufacturer of this product, which includes programs for recovering deleted files from media.
Disadvantages: The only drawback of this creation is the incredible price, which of course cannot but be a drawback ...
Comment: Given the current development of photo and video equipment, in which the speed of data transfer to the media increases every day, then of course 95mb / s, this is exactly what you need if you do not want to see the “hatches” on the video, the brakes of the video camera which, after a series of shootings, begin, for example, on long-term maps, to think long, slow down and hang. Therefore, if you need speed, you can almost say that the lack of brakes due to the carrier, then Sandisk Extreme Pro SDXC UHS Class 1 95MB / s is for you. Hopefully, the manufacturer will lower the price of the product and it will be at more affordable prices.
