Very roomy and compact at the same time. I put a bunch of boxes on top of him, everything is fine, no shaking, no noise. In 1.5 years I defrosted 1 time manually, spent about 1-2 hours, the ice quickly went down to the lowest tray. Now I want to buy a refrigerator to store the juices of my home production - and also Saratov! By the way, grandma's Saratov served her for more than 45 years))) they threw him out only because of her appearance - she looked at all antediluvian, although he worked perfectly.

Advantages: Works. Price. Silent.

Disadvantages: The build is terrible. Energy class C. Climatic class - N (up to +32, after +32 the compressor works without interruptions). No no frost (this is already a niggle).

Comment: I have no complaints about the work of the freezer - it is quiet, it freezes as it should. The compressor caught the Belarusian (there are Chinese, and now like the Austrian should be set to start). The boxes are made of transparent, durable plastic (they used to be made of opaque and thin).
Of the minuses: the swinging lid (called the service at the EPO - confirmed that it was not a marriage), a low energy efficiency class and a weak climate class.
Well, the main disadvantage: the assembly, which has not changed, apparently, since Soviet times. There is a feeling that they collect it with an ax and a sledgehammer, everything is so careless, especially put a stick of stickies behind (just nanotechnology), through which some tubes are put inside.
Another minus would call the absence in the instructions description of the control panel. The switch to the left is super-freezing mode, while the left lamp is yellow, if the temperature is not low enough, the right lamp is red. The switch on the right is the normal mode, the central lamp is lit green. Why the instructions do not have this paragraph, which I threw in 20 seconds, remains a mystery.
When you first turn on, be prepared that the freezer will work without interruption for several days - this is normal.

Conclusion: a normal freezer for adequate money. Build shoddy, but it will not be seen - all the "curvature" behind. If the device also took over durability from the USSR, then do not care for the assembly :).

Comment: “Saratov 153” was acquired in December 2012. About a year later, I noticed oil under a compressor (about 10 ml.), But the freezer was working properly. Warranty - 3 years. Repaired without problems. The reason is a small fistula at the place where the compressor is brazed to the distribution pipes. Visually - not visible. It is visible in a flame of a gas torch as freon leaves (oil is dissolved in freon).
The warranty period of 3 years from other manufacturers have not seen. According to the master, the service life of the compressor no one calls. The cost of such repairs for March 2014 about 2t.r. (pull the freon, solder the fistula, pump the freon).
