Old bridges (from 2tb volume) require formatting the disk when the connection changes (for example, the disk is filled through the USB connector, the case is disassembled and turned on directly - and the system requires formatting).
About the reliability so far nothing is known. Before that, there was a similar 4tb, it works for about a year, the state is excellent. I hope for a long service life.
