I travel mostly along the same route, in one or two regions, where most of the radar and cameras are known to me, with the exception of mobile. The presence of GPS is of course VERY MUCH! conveniently. Before reaching the set speed threshold, Sho-me G 800 STR notifies you that there are cameras, radar only visually or is completely silent. The sound is not distracting. Arrow takes confident. By GPS notifies per kilometer, this distance can be changed in settings for 800, 600, 400 meters. Checked specifically, disabling the GPS - confidently caught the arrow per kilometer only with the radar part. Radar detectors of other brands used by me previously caught the arrow at a much shorter distance. Perhaps the following does not apply to flaws, but menu items like AOSD or something like that enter me into depression. Russified menu, it is certainly easy to Russify all menu items, including abbreviations. I can say for sure: I became a little more confident to drive.
