Disadvantages: The plate for darning and sewing the thread is plastic and not very securely fastened - I am afraid that it will move away when used and the needle will be stuck in it, but maybe everything will be all right, I have not used it yet.

Comment: I chose a long time, collecting opinions. As a result, I realized that most consultants do not understand what they are talking about, they are not competent to advise. I bought Singer, because I consider it more reliable. Absolutely no problems with it, it sews both thick fabrics and thin knitwear, there are all the necessary stitches, thread tension adjustment - everything works fine. In Singer, the main thing to look at the manufacturer (certainly Vietnam, not China). For 13 thousand, in my opinion, a great option. And the fact that they write that the plastic lid has a bobbin closed - so in fact all modern machines with a horizontal shuttle have a plastic bobbin and a plastic lid closes it to see how much thread is left. And this plastic does not deteriorate in any way, since there is no load on it. Unjustified criticism, which does not apply to this machine, but in general to the structure of modern sewing machines of any company. I am very pleased with the purchase!

Advantages: Sewed a leather bag, great! Jeans sews, knitted pants, leggings hemmed, double-sided fleece, organza, tulle.

Disadvantages: I am afraid for the transparent thin cover that closes the shuttle.

Comment: How I suffered before this with Chaika-3-words not ...! My new singer is like a Mercedes after a Muscovite. 04/24/15 will be two years since I bought it.
