I looked at a million tests and comparisons. I decided. I went home, I was very afraid that I would open and be disappointed. But, like that, delight)) The camera for such a price exceeded all my expectations, writes an excellent video, wrote, and in sunny weather and overcast. Sharpness, settings, color transfer I like everything. Believe me, for a home video this is above the roof, my iPhone 6 is a favorite and then it shoots worse)) I compared it with a go about my girlfriend, my camera is even more like her now!

5. Strange settings for the photo. It is possible to set a timer that will take pictures every 3 seconds, for example. I did not find the opportunity to make one photo 3 seconds after pressing the button.Of course, you can always take a photo through the application on the phone, but this is not always convenient.
6. By the way about the application (I have Androyd) - it certainly works, but it looks poor.
7. Recognizes memory cards only up to 32 GB.
8. Full compatibility with fasteners and most GoPro accessories.
The bottom line is the thing! There are a lot of comparisons with GoPro on the Internet, and somewhere this camera is better, somewhere worse. Considering that GoPro costs 4 times more,
doubts in the choice disappear by themselves (unless of course you do not want to overpay for the brand).

Comment: ❍ I have been using this camera since September 2014 (actually since the release).
Before that, there was a previous version without wifi (I gave it to my parents on a DVR), and even earlier I took a drive from friends of GoPro 3 and GoPro 3+.
❍ Surprisingly, according to my personal impressions, SJCAM pleased me more with convenience and glitches!
There were always some small troubles with a battery, a hang and a spontaneous on / off switch. Because of this, no video was locked up ... = (((
But with the SJ4000 somehow there were no problems. Maybe just lucky.
❍ It's nice that the manufacturer develops and maintains its product - new firmware is regularly released, which becomes more beautiful, more understandable, more convenient.
❍ SJ has a color screen, which is not the case with many top action cameras.
❍ I'm really very glad that SJ has bright colors like yellow (the first camera) or blue (the second). They cheer me up! =)
❍ By video quality:
I do not have monitors with a super resolution, so 4K I simply have nowhere to look. And those who have them, I know, cannot see the difference. Full HD is enough for the eyes in 99% of cases.
▸ The white balance of SJ is pretty cold by default, and you most often notice this when you look at comparison clips with other cameras on YouTube. I also initially thought it was a cant, but my friends suggested that the balance is easily corrected in any video editor, as for a photo. So having hands from the right place, you get a very decent picture! =)
▸ In general, YouTube equalizes one size fits all, shamelessly pinching and dazzling similar parts of the video. So for videos in the internet, even the capabilities of the SJ4000 are a bit too much.
