For a high-quality photo on the A6000, the lens must have a resolution not lower than the resolution of the matrix (24 MP). But none of the E-lenses available on the market has such parameters, and simply high-quality ones (with a resolution above 12MP) - only a few (see the DxoMARK portal data).

The 16-50 mm whale lens is of poor quality (5 ... 6MP according to DxoMARK tests) and does not allow 24MP matrix. More - less normal photos from it only in bright sun outside. And indoors it gives an eerie soap on an open diaphragm, and on a covered one only slightly better: all photos should be resized at once to 75-50%, sharpen, edit levels (otherwise photos will be at the level of a soap box and worse), and for "street »Photo from the whale is almost the same situation.

Comment: For high-quality photos with A6000 kit you need to immediately change.But most of the released E-lenses (and other systems too) are “sharpened” specifically for portrait / art photography: these are high-aperture normal and long-focus lenses, for example, Sony 35mm / 1.8 to 50mm / 1.8. Therefore, under the high-quality portrait with a blurred background you can pick up the lens.
But there is no high-quality aperture wide-angle! Shorter than 25mm and lighter than 2.8, only Sonya “pancake” 20mm / 2.8 (with soap is no better than whale (resolution 7… 8MP according to DxoMARK tests), Sigma 19mm / 2.8 (same level), and the notorious Carl Zeiss Sonnar T * 24mm f / 1.8 at a price 1.5 times the A6000 with a whale.

From the DxoMark tests, it is clear that only three E-lenses of all can at least partially resolve the 24MP matrix. With the rest, there will be pictures like that of 6 ... 9 MP-th soapboxes and the full potential of the A6000 carcass will remain unfulfilled.
The rest are either dark, or in resolution and contrast at the whale level (like most E-lenses with variable focal lenses), or both at once + price.
In addition, subjectively, Sony lenses give a picture. “Inanimate”: there is clarity, there is no “airiness”: glass and eyes in the frame are covered with dust, boke is “dirty coarse-grained”.
Great hopes were on the new line of lenses of 2015. But Sony released lenses only under FF (index “FE”, for A7) and at 28 / 2.0FE, in terms of crop angle of view, it will have almost the same 50mm / 1.8
Therefore, for a high-quality photo on the A6000 today, only the use of manual optics remains.
The Samyang manual (including 16mm / 2.0 and 12mm / 2.0) give excellent results, almost allowing a 24MP matrix, and cost only twice as much as a whale.
But there is only glass and metal in them, there is no electronics (the camera shoots in the “without lens” mode, the aperture is not fixed in EXIF, focal length). And the very “manual” shooting and focusing in dynamic scenes is extremely difficult without professional skills.

Advantages: Autofocus, matrix, interchangeable optics, video is very high quality

Disadvantages: It exhausts the battery quickly, but, when using amateur, it is not critical. It is compensated by the omnipresent microfiber chargers.
The quality of the screen is so so. Even ready-made pictures, when necessary, look in the viewfinder.

Comment: Compactness pleases. On a belt I can hang around my neck under outer clothing, even without removing the lens hood from the lens. From extra eyes. From bad weather.
If necessary, drag everything with you, a small bag with a lens enters the bag, plus a pair of lenses.
For an unpretentious amateur, I recommend taking a kit from 16-55. Compact and cheap in a whale. A double-kit from 55-210 is even better - sometimes you want to take a picture from afar.
For the more advanced, it’s superfluous to have a native fifty dollars (50 / 1.8 OSS). Very good glass, and for its price! need a telephoto.
These lenses have very effective optical stabilization.
Previously, I used a37, a57, a65, a little Canon, so there is something to compare with.
Now I have a77, in order to use lenses from the legendary MINOLTA on it. But with the purchase of the a6000, the SLR mostly began to lie at home.

Advantages: Great camera.
- Pictures are razor sharp, especially landscapes.

- 3 programmable modes. You set up the settings and quickly switch between them - great for shooting in difficult lighting conditions: once set up and no longer spend time dancing with tambourines
- budget SLRs will lose by ease of shooting, with whale glass - and by quality (but if the size is not critical, you are focused on high-quality images, mobility is not needed, and there will be money for the further development of the optics park, pay $ 200-300 and buy Nikon D7100).

Disadvantages: I will try to write about the drawbacks in the simplest language, as experienced users will either find complex information about the camera themselves, or be able to circumvent problem areas of settings and hardware. I am writing for those who are holding a similar camera for the first time

tactile sensations:
- I do not know how long the sticker will last, thin, does not inspire confidence,
- the battery compartment cover is very flimsy (on the previous camera I had worked better),
- it is difficult to pull out a memory card (in order not to shake the slot and not to bend the card itself, you have to pull it out, grabbing it parallel to it with your fingers, pull out the card, pinching it with a pinch hard - the above problem with the lid affects)
- the battery eats very much: at a temperature of +10 5 minutes of video and 60-70 photos, the battery is discharged to 19% (therefore I immediately advise you to order 2-4 additional Chinese, the budget is $ 16-40)
- when shooting "from the belly" it is necessary to turn off the viewfinder, because at a distance of 5 centimeters the sensor is already activated and the screen is turned off.
- there is no 180 degree rotation of the screen (you get used to good quickly, nostalgia for 5T).
- a flip-up charging lid with a rubber stopper was better for me

Comment: I am writing a review about the Sony Alpha A6000 Kit, since in this configuration the price is equal to the cost of the carcass (even if you have left, like me, optics from previous nexs, the new 16-50 will be superfluous, although it is no secret that it is only for unpretentious use, mediocre soap glass).

Fifty 1.8 OSS works faster than on nex'e, but it’s still a long time (I advise you to bring it up manually for sensitive recording), with pancake, whale zoom, the camera scribbles until the buffer is forgotten.

In a bad light, learn to shoot on manual settings: today, with a machine with fifty dollars, you took down the Mercury tower in Moscow City. Dark time of day, dense fog (upper floors with the naked eye, like in milk) - the glass was never focused for 1.5 minutes.

I advise you to hold the built-in flash when opening with a finger - it will last longer.

Universal camera, add.the costs that will require - pultik (24 megapixel yet, will help from the shake), film, cover, ext. batteries - + $ 40 minimum, but this is a waste of discharge "must have."

Findings:
if you have grown to the level of this camera, or are ready to learn in a brochure, on forums and on YouTube, if you have money for better optics (or you already have it) and can compare + s and mirrors mirrorless - feel free to take it. An excellent choice to wait on this camera for a full-frame nex or for autofocus refinement in model 4 a7.

If you mostly use auto mode, you need self-arrows through a screen of 180 degrees, you are not going to spend money on glass - take the previous 5N, 5R, 5T (the secondary market allows you to take a good set of 13-15 thousand).

Comment: The camera is very light and easy to use, it has a huge potential for further development in both the photo and video. It was purchased at a very attractive price for a whale, as well, immediately took Sony 50mm f / 1.8. Your money is definitely worth it, it's easy to deal with it, as well as just getting a competent result at a reasonable cost.

Advantages: From important to me:
+ Autofocus speed compared with NEX-5 significantly faster.
+ Viewfinder, something that was not enough before. He decides on the sun and generally generally only sights on it, on the screen only if I take off from a low point.
+ Comfortable grip.
+ Buttons and wheels are customized.

Disadvantages: - Weak battery and charging the camera only through usb (in time ~ 4-5 hours). It is solved by buying a separate charge and a pair of batteries on ibei.
- Not enough quick focus point selection.

Comment: I took to replace the Sony NEX-5N. He was more than satisfied with the device for this money, he chose between him and Fujifilm X-E2, though the fudzhik is more “purebred” and the assembly is Japanese, but the price is 50-55k, the aft focus is slower, the unruly screen, the inconvenient grip, harder. In general, for the same money I took Sony with 2 whale lenses + 35mm 1.8f. Although I must say that whale lenses are not so hot, there is no 16-50 at all, 18-55 was better, 50-210 was still there, and since it cost 5 thousand to play it.

Advantages: Compactness, speed, picture quality and WiFi with NFC - allowing you to control the camera from your phone and transfer photos to it.
Excellent matrix - to shoot at night and in conditions of lack of light is a pleasure!

Disadvantages: Small (in capacity) battery.
absolutely NO lenses in the whale. Yes, the whale will cost you less than a bird and the same lens separately, but you get no lens, for cheap. And you need it? ;-)

Comment: Excellent camera, which came to replace the heavy and bulky SLR for everyday shooting. The price is fully consistent with the quality. The only "minus" - the battery charge is not always enough for a day.
In the device itself, charging is slow (~ 2-3 hours from full zero to 100%), you should immediately buy a replacement battery and better external charging.
The second nuance is the strap included. It is completely uncomfortable and cumbersome.
Third, it is better to buy a protective film on the screen, since the plastic is quickly scratched.
But these are not minuses, but Nuances.

Advantages: Autofocus really became much better than the nex-6, yesterday after buying a couple of hours on the sports field, I trained with the device)) The menu became clearer, almost perfect! It seems that the gentleman who left the previous commentary did not hold the camera in his hands.
The viewfinder, although it lost half of the resolution, became subjectively better, there are no delays like the nex-6, and the image has become softer.
The quality of the photo pleased, even at high iso, the noise is minimal, and in jpg it is generally imperceptible, despite the fact that the noise level acts delicately, it doesn’t really wash the image.

Disadvantages: The battery is weak, but it does not threaten me, there are three more from nex.

Comment: I do not regret that I laid out 30 tons for the carcass, the device is worth the money. Mal, yes remove!

Advantages: - Very fast focus. Damn really it was not enough on the mirrorless
- Rate of fire. 11 frames per second with focus is cool. True auto focus all the same often tupit and not choose. But damn vseravno pulnut immediately 40 frames in a row is tough. Take at least a video of them glue =)
