After several months of use I would like to add:
Video shoots in 2 formats m2ts / 50 frames per second 1920x1080 (video is smooth, but interlace scanning) and regular mp4 / 25 frames per second but the resolution is 1440 x 1080, but it is also detected as full full hd, there are no problems with this.
Previously wrote about the impossibility of watching m2ts on TV, but no, it turned out the problem is solved by simply changing the format, that is, you need to do so that you can change the extension (look in Google).
This method is suitable for all cameras, that is, we take the video that we shot, but could not watch it on TV, laptop (it does not matter) and replace the last letters of the format with MKV, or AVI for example, there is video 20140201.MTS, change to 20140201.MKV and rejoice smooth, good video.
I have been using it for 5 months now, nothing has broken, except that the power and viewing buttons now need to be pressed harder, we took around 10,000 pictures somewhere. While everything is normal. Perhaps the battery is not the most energy-intensive, but enough for me.
Although the video in high quality for a long time you can not take pictures, not only because the video eats a charge, but also simply because the camera overheats after 25 minutes of continuous shooting in HD and turns itself off to cool. this is probably characteristic of all cameras. All the same, not a video camera.
During video recording, you can take pictures, but no more than 10 pieces, I would like more. Perhaps the camera is not the fastest when you need to remove a fast-moving object.

Comment: A good camera made at a high level, maybe I would buy something simpler and cheaper, but I needed a camera with 1080p 30fps. And I am quite pleased. I would like a faster zoom. Slow zoom function when viewing on the camera screen. Charging the battery in the camera itself. However, this is a minus, only if you are going to buy an extra battery. "Dark" lens at maximum focal length.

Comment: I bought as a gift to a person who would photograph only in auto mode. With this camera everything is in order. I have not studied the possibility of wi-fi and computer software. These functions are not useful to the owner. The sophisticated user will certainly be able to squeeze out slightly better results from the camera due to exposure correction, etc., but, in my opinion, this device is not for that. It is for shooting on the machine. Saw - clicked - got a decent result. Still, this camera is not for those who like to look at the picture in high magnification, pixel by pixel. With the increase of visible "porridge" of compression artifacts, etc. So what? With normal viewing on a computer monitor and TV, everything is in order. And when printing on A4 (and on A3, for sure) everything will be decent too, I'm sure. Comment: I was looking for something small and with a decent zoom (sometimes it’s necessary for work). I thought to buy some Pentax protected, but the seller convinced me that this model is what I need. Not yet repented. Such a quality in such a small body did not expect!

Comment: just bought this machine. This is the 3rd Sony in my collection. I'm in a pleasant shock from this fotik. Of course, it’s possible, you don’t waste money on a soapbox by buying a smartphone with good performance from the pictures, but this is not convenient for me and the video needed no worse than the previous one (I had with full HD). immediately took a few pictures and videos. it just shook me. I bought a soap box, and the pictures on the machine are such that every eyelash can be seen. Yes, there is no smoothness or blurring, as in mirrors, and the color of SONY is clearly juicier than it is real, but I like it and I don’t crave with mirrors. This is a feral option with awesome video. I sincerely recommend it to everyone. I chose between wx80 and wx150, but chose my own, because A bit cheaper and there is wi-fi.
